“You are alive!!”
I nearly blushed until I fainted when some random houndoom chick came up and hugged me. I wasn’t very good at this sort of thing…
“Who are you?!!” I said irritably. She smiled and laughed at me, which only made me blush more.
“Who’s all here?” a mudkip gijinka said, after giving Hon a short hug and letting Hoom take over. I’d assume they were siblings… By the way they looked at if they’d die if they’d lost each other.
“New Gijinka and Hon it looks like…” The houndoom girl said. She looked at Gale and me. “I’m Hoom and this is Melody.” Then she pointed to another figure, who made me stiffle a short gasp. How in the HECK did he get there?!? “And this is Lee.”
“I’m Gale.” He said, smiling. Then me pointed at his tail. “This is Ivax.”
“…I’m Cheruu,” I sighed, then pointed at my own attached companion. “This is BB.” She squeaked at them happily.
“What the heck is going on?!” Hon asked immediately, already pulling us into our current situation.
Hoom shook her head. “I don’t think any of us have a clue yet--Just suddenly this starting happening and now we’re here!”
Gale put in, “We were about to go and find the others--is that still the plan?”
The guy named Lee nodded. “We don’t have a choice. At any minute we could be put in a dangerous condition and it would be better with numbers on our side.”
Everyone nodded, then Melody said, “Where to then?”
I could tell Hoom was a leader, because in that instant she took charge immediately. “We need to head into as much of the forest as possible. I sensed more Gijinka down this way.” She pointed to the right of us.
“Excellent,” I sighed.
“Let’s move!” Melody said confidently and with no delay we headed out at a fast walk.
During our trek, though life-threatning the danger we were in, more than a few times we passed along chit-chat to better get to know the people around us, especially me and Gale since no one knew us and we didn’t even know each other. Most of the talking came from BB and Ivax, actually, passing along a silent conversation that only me and Gale could hear.
But the more Ivax spoke to BB, the more I moved away from Gale. What a conniving little tale that man has--and poisoning my little BB’s mind, too! D< But she enjoyed it well enough and no matter how far away I walked, he could always seem to speak to her.
Gosh darn it.
“Hey Gale, could you please tell that thing to pipe down?!”
He laughed. “I couldn’t if I tried--Ivax has a mind of his own!”
I growled, mumbling something and the rest of our party looked from me to Gale in confusion.
“Hey Cheruu,” Melody addressed and I gladly turned to her for some relief.
“Yeah?”
“Why are you shirtless? Don’t you get cold--have you no dignity??”
Another awkward silence.
I blushed but quickly replied. “Back on the island we didn’t need to worry about clothes, it was too hot for such restraining things…In fact it’s kind of strange to see you all so clothed. On the island, only women wore that much clothing!”
Hon blushed at that and Hoom giggled.
“I have the right idea I guess!” Lee laughed. We all had sweat drops from the comment.
Suddenly, Hoom sniffed. “They’re here! I can--”
“AHHHH!”
We all jumped in terror, instantly coming together, but we were not fast enough. A figure blurred towards us from behind our line.
Lee was first to react. “Step back!” He shouted to us.
The figure tried to leap past him, but he wasn’t having it. In one swift motion he knocked over the assailing person with his leg and I heard Hoom gasp. “C-Chii?!”
He got onto his knees from the blow and spat at the ground, a glare burning into his golden eyes. He wasn’t glaring at just anyone, though, he was glaring straight at me.
He growled, a deep and menacing sound. “Come at me, you coward!!”
Hon and Hoom, who were the only two who knew him best looked with concern. “What the heck is wrong with you, Chii?!” Hoom snapped. “We don’t have time--”
He completely ignored her, rising up and letting electricity dance across his entire body.
“Get BACK!” Lee repeated, shielding us with his arms.
I couldn’t believe he was here… And what’s more I’d NEVER seen him look so blood thirsty… So angry.
“Oh really?! Is that your game CHERUU?!” He roared. His eyes blazed wildly--Something was wrong. “Get more friends so you can DUMP them later like you did to me?!”
“You have no idea what your talking about.” I hissed back. Everyone but Lee, who stared at his target with practiced eyes, looked back at me, surprised.
“You LEFT ME!” He yelled, and from his earrings to the tips of his being a thunder bolt wrenched the air.
“Lee!” Melody screamed.
It had hit him full on, causing several singed marks to fall across his skin--And yet he did not move a muscle, but moreover held even more firm than before.
“Get out of my way!” Chii hissed.
“I won’t let you pass!” Lee countered.
“Why are you helping him?! He only lies to people like us! He weeds into your life like a bad dream and PRETENDS like he cares about you. And then he breaks those bonds with a cold knife and leaves you to DIE just to save HIMSELF!”
“I had no choice.” I said calmly but coldly. “But of course you’re the LAST to understand because your so very naive.”
“ARGGHHH!!” Chii bolted, but Lee grabbed him and pinned him to the ground. He tried to wriggle out of his grasp, his growls and yells so animal-like and frantic I knew then that there was something terribly wrong with him.
We all gathered around, terror in all of our eyes.
“I’ll have to knock him out.” Lee said calmly, but still he tried with difficulty to keep Chii down, considering how strong his legs were pounding against the ground.
But before he did that, I looked down on my former best friend and whispered, “...I had to, stupid.”
With a quick whip to the neck, the screaming ceased and for an instant I saw a flicker of the old Chii in his eyes before they rolled back into his head as he gave a sigh and fell unconscious.
After a moment of contemplation as to what had just happened, Hoom looked at me suspiciously. “What… Exactly was he talking about?” She asked in a serious tone.
I didn’t look at her. “It doesn’t matter anymore.” I turned back in to the direction we were going. “If the others are there we should get going--Can you carry him, Lee?”
He was quiet for a moment, and I knew that we was taking in very seriously what Chii had been screaming about. “Yeah,” He hoisted the boy up and Gale sniffed once.
“They’re close,” He said quietly.
“Let’s go then.” I said, leading the way.
They didn’t understand…. No one did.

TEH DRAMA! D8 (If you haven’t read the post for Chii before this, Chii is currently under a spell the ghost put over him, but now he got some sense knocked into him I guess XD)
