Kiki walked into the town square and found that it was packed with humans and Pokémon a like. It was the performing arts festival today. Kiki watched dancers and musicians perform and spectators watched and handed them money. The Gijinka grinned. This was perfect. She’ll be able to make some money finally.
She was broke and only had the clothes on her back and the backpack that carried some of her necessities and other things. She hadn’t taken a hot shower in a long time. Before she had to bath in a cold river a couple of times. Life had been pretty hard on her lately but after making friends with a traveling band things were starting to look up since she left Alamos Town.
The band found a place to perform beside a statue of some historical figure that Kiki knew nothing about. They set up their equipment and Kiki did some stretches to get ready to perform. She had bought a new white tutu and shirt. Two flowers that looked similar to Gracidea flowers held her pigtails in place. She had bought a new outfit so to look presentable when she performed. As a crowd gather around them she took a deep breath and smiled.
The show began when the drummer started with a low beat. Kiki tabbed her foot and raised her hands over her head. The music picked up faster as the guitarist and base player joined in. Kiki began to dance and the crowd murmured in excitement. Kiki’s smile widens and she brought the mike to her lips and sang.
After singing over several songs Kiki ended with her signature ballerina twirl and gracefully bowed to the crowd. They applauded and cheered with approval and amazement. Kiki beamed pleased at her success. She loved it when the crowd enjoyed her performances.
Kiki joined the band for drink (of course nothing alcoholic she was only sixteen). Kiki drank her soda as the band leader and their manager/groupie/ friend counted up the money and divided their shares.
“Here you go babe,” the band leader named Rex said handing some of the money to Kiki. “Your twelve percent of the dough as promised.”
Kiki took the money and counted it herself. This was the first she ever earned money with out the help of her big sister it made her feel really good and independent but also sort of sad. She put her earnings in her wallet and put it back in her back pack. “Thanks I really appreciated it.” She smiled at Rex and saw the manager Reese shot her a dirty look. Kiki fought the urge to roll her eyes. Reese had been hostile towards Kiki ever since she flirted with Rex that one time and nothing serious happened after words. That girl was possessive of Rex and they weren’t even dating.
“No problem,” Rex said. “You’re an amazing performer. You got the gift to get the crowd going.”
Kiki smiled and ignore the death glares from Reese.
“You got nice pipes but you were flat at the second chorus on the first song.”
Kiki’s left eye twitch and her hand tighten around the can of soda. FLAT?!?!? She saw Reese smirk and resisted the desire to punch the groupie in her face and use Psychic on Rex and make him fly out the window and stuff him into a dumpster. Her smiled turned to a plastic cheesy grin, “Heh heh you’re right I was…” She squeezed her knee hard to steady herself.
“Are you sure you don’t want to join the band and travel with us? A cute singer like you would totally help us out with our business,” the base player Troy said.
Kiki smiled, she loved the idea of joining their band and she had developed a little crush on Troy but she couldn’t stay. One; she’s a Gijinka on the run from a gang and the bounty hunters, two; they had no idea about number one, and three; if they found out it could spell disaster. “Yeah I’m sure. I would love to but I can’t sorry.”
The band sighed with disappointed and Kiki saw that Reese secretly did a little jig of victory. Aw well she didn’t like sharing the spot light anyway.
She said good bye and left before the other band members try to persuade her to join them again.
She went to find a hotel to stay in or a Pokémon Center. She stopped in front of a shop and admired the latest outfits that were on display in the window. Kiki tensed when she sensed something was watching her. She turned around and saw men dressed in dark blue suits and black fedoras. ‘Oh no they’re here?!’ Kiki thought starting to panic. Why would Honcho’s men be on this far out? Unless they’re still looking for her.
Kiki took a deep breath and casually walked into the store. “Excuse me,” she said to the clerk. “May I use your back door?”
The clerk looked at her blankly. “Uh…yes,” the man said looking at her strangely.
“Thanks,” Kiki hurried to the back of the store without looking back. She found the back door and it led her the ally way behind the store. She hurried down the ally and peered around the corner cautiously. She didn’t see the Fedora Hats and hurried down the street and then she was out of the town and entered the wooded area.
She hadn’t been running that long and her feet started to ache. Ballet shoes where not ideal when it came to running for your life. She tripped and fell down. Her knee was badly grazed but she quickly picked herself up. She looked over her shoulder and saw the Fedora Hats again.
She ran and traveled deeper into the woods. She sensed her pursuers were gaining on her. ‘No no no someone help me!’ Her heart was beating so hard in her chest it hurt but she didn’t dare slow down to catch her breath.
“Hey stop!” One of the Fedora Hats shouted after her. She didn’t stop and ran as fast as she could. Then her foot stepped on nothing but air. Kiki looked down and saw with horror that she had stepped over a cliff. “Aaaahhh!!!” Kiki screamed and fell down.
She squeezed her eyes shut and waited for the bone crushing impact against the sharp rocks but she instead felt herself fall into a bed of soft grass. Kiki opened her eyes and blinked. “Wha…” She shakily forced herself up and sat on her feet looking around. “How did…?” She murmured in confusion.
Then she realized that she must have used Teleport unconsciously. It happened before when she was in a serious situation like the one moments ago. She breathed out a relieved laugh and stood up.
“Now…where am I?” She said to herself and looked around. She was in a forest and nothing looked familiar to her. Kiki sighed and pulled the straps of her backpack higher on her shoulder. She stood there quite for a few seconds and then she exploded.
“JUST GREAT!!! I’M IN A MIDDLE OF NO WHERE!!! WHAT DO I DO???!!” She screamed hysterically at the sky her hands gripping her pig tails. She fell to her knees and hunched over in despair. “I’m all alone…here to defend myself against the cruel world…a cute and talented defenseless girl forced to battle the injustices that fate throws at her way…” she whimpered shoulders trembling “…oh Arceus… will someone help her?…”
She became silent again and somewhere a Hoothoot called out in the silence. Kiki sighed and stood up again and brushed the dirt off her skirt. “It’s not fun when no ones watching,” she muttered.
Kiki looked up at the sky and grimaced. She had to find shelter soon before it gets dark. “Okay let’s go,” she said and started walking.

That was fun lol if you’re confused with that episode she had it happens often. She can be such a drama queen. *is smacked*
