“Grrr….” Kiki growled stepping over another tree root that she almost tripped on. “How long do I have to keep walking?!?!” She complained loudly.
The Kirlia was not in a good mood. She was tired, hungry, soar and dirty. She wanted nothing more than to curl up under a tree and go to sleep but she was afraid to sleep in the dark and her batteries in her flash light were dead. She had no idea how to make a camp fire a true city gal she is. She sighed and blew a stand of light green hair out of her eyes.
It was almost dinner time and it felt like her stomach was gnawing at her other organs. “Gaahhh!!! I need food!!!”
She stopped and sniffed the air. What was that? It smelt like….
“BERRIES!!!!” Kiki ran following scent. The sorce of the yummy smell came from Pecha berries and sure enough she found a Pecha berrie tree with berries ripe for the picking. “Yippy!!!” Kiki squaled and twirled around in a full circle. As a Kirlia, it was in her nature to twirl around when she’s happy. She held her skirt with one hand to make a basket to carry the berries and started picking the pink fruit off the tree and dropped them in her skirt. She was going to stain on her new skirt but she didn’t care.
She sat down under the tree and ate the berries hungerly. “Mmm-mmhh!! It’s so good!!!” They were just as great as the Pecha berries in the Town Garden back in Alamos Town. Kiki remembered eating berries and playing with her friends. She really missed them and grew sad. She became quiet as she ate more Pecha berries. After eating enough to satisfy her hunger she leaned back against the tree. She set her backpack on her lap and looked through it and got out a beautiful antique looking pocket watch.
She smiled down at it fondly. She opened it and begain to turn the gears that were inside. Music began to play softly from the little trinket. It was one of her favorite songs. The songs the watch made were the same songs that the Space Time Tower would play. Kiki had a strong feeling that the man named Godey designed the watch. It might have once belonged to him.
After sitting there for awhile listening to the music Kiki wondered how her family and friends were doing. Her sister Gaia would be teaching at the dance school, Rally would be playing in the Town Garden with the pokemon and her friends would be out shopping and having fun. She heaved a heavy sigh and stared up at the sky through the tree branches. When the song ended she closed the watch and put it back in her backpack.
She started walking and felt a little better after eating and taking a break. It was only a few minutes when she threw her head back and yelled, “I’M THIRSTY!!!” Her sudden outburst scared Starlys that were nesting in the tree next to her. “Sorry…” she said to them and they just cocked their heads at her.
Kiki continued walking. She saw something that didn’t seem very natural. She hurried her pace and stepped into a clearing.
“WOW!!!” It was a huge mansion! In the middle of the forest? Kiki looked around and didn’t find any sign of life but it didn’t look like the place was abandon. Someone must be living here.
“Hello!” She called after waiting for a reply that didn’t came she shrugged and went inside the mansion.
“Hello?” she called again peering behind the door anxiously. There was still no reply but Kiki let herself in anyway. She walked around and stared at her surroundings. “What a cool place!” She said smiling. “I wonder where the kitchen is.”
She opened several doors and finally found the kitchen. “Sweetness!” She walked in found a glass and filled it with water. She sat down at a table and drank from the glass. “I hope whoever lives here won’t mind if I help myself without they’re consent,” she said to herself. I feel like Goodilocks if there’re Ursarings living here I hope they’re nice.
“Hey who are you?!”
Kiki jumped and shot her arms up straight into the air. “Don’t shoot!!!”
