“It’s alright darling--You didn’t hurt him!” I cooed at her and let her pull away to rub her eyes. “I could never hurt a friend…” The words echoed and I smiled. What a sweet kid.
“Yeeeeah :/…” She complained. “I don’t know if I shoulda hit him harder or just feel bad about it… What the HECK is WRONG with me Chii? I’ve never felt bad about punching around a loud-mouth before!”
I saw Hiro sweat drop and I chuckled a bit.
“There there~” I whistled. “We’ll just show him around the house--You’ll feel better, promise!”
She nodded. “Kay, fine.” She turned to Hiro, that leadership-like expression on her face. I blushed and grinned at the very sight of it… I would hardly admit it, especially to Lupe , but I adored her commanding nature.
“Where are we starting then?” Hiro asked wearily. I almost chuckled. Poor boy, you’ll be used to Lupe Darling’s bi-polar personality soon enough~
“Let’s just start where we are now and work our way to where your room will be, Ne?” She didn’t wait for a response, but continued down the hall.
I eyed Hiro and Poochy before we all began to walk behind her.
“I get my OWN room?” Hiro asked me, and I could feel the excitement radiate from him.
“Sure are, kid!” I said just as excitedly. “And their HUGE too!” Maybe it was the almost-kiss after-glow, but I swore flowers of every pastel color were floating around me and there were sparkles everywhere I walked. I was the giddiest thing on earth and it wasn’t a real mystery as to why.
Poochy sighed, exasperated. “So easily entertained…” She mumbled, but I barely heard her.
….I-I nearly KISSED LUPE~~~ <3 I still felt her close to me and her heartbeat next to mine. Though I’ll admit I was a bit discouraged at the ending of it--Being caught wasn’t my intention and Lupe made me pay the price hard. That girl had a throw…But when she had made that cute little noise in the forest, my spirits erupted again. It’s quite a wonder to me why she isn’t already taken, I must be the luckiest man on earth to have even been that close to her.
Then, my thoughts turned dark. How could anyone have ever turned her into a monster? My Lupe was beautiful, strong-willed, caring when she was inclined. None of what she said made any sense to me.
I let my face pull into a more determined look… I’d already made up my mind. I would protect Lupe with my life and heart.
I began to whistle as we neared the boy’s side of the mansion. Hiro looked at me curiously. “That good, eh?”
I stopped mid stride and watched as Lupe stopped as well, her long ears twitching.
I stooped down to Hiro and whispered frantically, “Not now, please! You’ll only be beaten to a pulp again O>O!” Then I shouted up to Lupe, “Slip of the tongue, darling! He meant something completely different~” Poochy face-palmed at my attempt at an excuse.
“For HIS sake, he better have.” Lupe said without turning, and again she continued her stride.
Me and Hiro exchanged glances. “Don’t be cruising for a bruising, now,” I added warily.
He nodded as we walked again.
I changed the subject. “So, my man… What’s your story?”
I could see I’d nearly made him stop again. Wrong thing to ask I’d guess. “I-I’m sorry…”
He sighed. “No… It’s fine.” He said and we continued on in silence.
“Well, here we are!” Lupe directed Hiro to an empty room and unlocked it with her leader-oriented keys (Side note… Where does she keep those?!). Hiro gasped in amazement and immediately went for the bed and began to jump on it.
“WEE! It’s so big!!”
I chuckled a bit and then realized that we where only a door away from my room. “Hiro!”
“Eh?!” He laughed as he continued to freak out.
“We’re neighbors!!”
“YAY!” We both laughed like little kids while Lupe and Poochy stood outside the door, aloof and embarrassed at our childish games.
“Hey guy--Knock it off you’re giving me a headache!!” Lupe shoted and we both stopped for fear of what she’d do. “Augh, I’m starving--Let’s go down and eat.”
I beamed. “Wonderful idea, darling~!” I leaped to her and embraced her in a tight hug. Appraently my joy of this earlier this moring hadn’t left me.
At first she only stood there and I felt her blush, but as soon as the three seconds I held her passed she immediately threw me off and I hit the wall.
Hiro and Poochy looked on it terror.
“K-Knock it off, Chii!” She shouted.
I rubbed my head and grinned. “Terribly sorry, Lupe Darling~”
Poochy sighed. “Coming Hiro?”
“O-of course!” Without trying to capture Lupe’s attention, he leaped off the bed as we continued down the hall.
But as me and Hiro chatted and Lupe and Poochy laughed at us, someone came around the corner.

Gah, writer’s block is like a terrible terrible disease >:/ All this passage really was was a bridge to a plot line I guess
Ah well…. Can be anybody that they meet if you need to pop into the story!
