“I’m glad your staying Cheruu!”
….Who the heck was she? She looked so familiar….
“Hello…?” I tried.
“HEY HOOM~” Chii chimmed.
K, maybe I have some kind of bad memory but when did she ever learn my name? Hmmm…. I stared at her for a moment before returning to trying to find something in the fridge for me to eat.
Augh… Junk food. You gotta be kidding me, no fresh fruit? Or… Yeah that’s an idea.
“I’m going outside for a second.” I said to Chii, opening the kitchen window and sliding my legs out of it. Many people trying to eat breakfast stared at me-- but screw them I’m hungry.
Chii held a puzzled look. “Why?? You were just out there!”
“There’s nothing to eat.”
“WHAAAT? There’s plenty to eat!” He held to my nose the food he was eating, some kind of colorful junk floating in milk in a green bowl.
“Ew.” I wrinkled my nose though it smelled appealing. “The heck are you eating?!”
“It’s cereal~” He mused. “The mainlanders eat this all the time for breakfast!”
“That’s disgusting--I’m going out to eat.” At this I slide all the way out the window and landed safely on the ground (it was the first floor, so it wasn’t too far down).
I heard Chii call down to me, “Careful no wolf comes your way, Honey~”
“SHUT UP FOOL!!!” I screamed, then stormed off back into the forest. I just HAD to be friends with him again, now I’ll never escape that horrid nickname D<!!
I found what I was looking for easily and quickly I climbed up the trunk of the tree with practiced arms and legs. From there I swung until I could get a branch sturdy enough to hold my weight. I held my head to the bark and listened for a bit before I found the perfect spot.
“BB? You got this?”
She squeaked enthusiastically and I couldn’t blame her--I was just as excited to eat this for a while now. I wonder if mainlander trees were just as good… BB let out a small yell as her leaves cut gently but firmly into the bark until a golden liquid began to pour from the trunk. I could already smell it and my mouth began to water. If there was anything worth living for it was this liquid heaven.
We hacked a bit more at it before I couldn’t take it anymore began to eat.
…But of course, even in heaven, I had to come down someday. >:/
“We need to do something with the bleeding.”
The heck? I hid myself further into the tree as not to be spotted, licking absently at the spot I’d carved.
“Yes! We need to stop the bleeding with a piece of a shirt or something..”
At this I looked down a bit and saw to my utter surprise a hurt Gijinka, bleeding and unconscious. Three Gijinka, (Hiro, that chick who said she knew me, and some houndoom guy) were all beside themselves with panic and began to cart him away.
Holy frick, how many people got hurt in this place anyway?! That’s two in two days O_e’’
I waited for them to leave before finishing my breakfast and hoping from the tree. Back to get a room I guess… But I wasn’t going back to that window just to see that stupid Chii’s face after calling me that D<

“SHUT UP FOOL!!!”
I laughed hysterically and closed the window, returning to my cereal. He wouldn’t be coming back through this window anyway, not after calling him by his nickname, he wouldn’t want to see my stupid face again probably~ ohohoho~
After finishing up I hurried upstairs to finally take shower after all that yoga and fighting, and along the way I saw Nina desperately trying to find something, running through the halls and looking through each crevice in the wall to find whatever she was looking for.
“Whatcha looking for, sweetheart?” I said, watching she cutely continued her search.
“M-my pearl, it’s GONE!”
“Pearl?”
“I KNOW I had it! But GAH!” She finally looked up at me, all disheveled and adorable… AUGH! Knock it off CHII D< Stop doing that she’s a tiny little girl you freak! “Have you seen it, Chii?”
“Can’t say I have, sweetheart.”
“Mmmffff…” She huffed, frustrated. So cute~ X3
I grinned a bit as I kneeled down in front of her. “Wish you the best of luck, Nina, but I gotta go~”
She sighed. “Okay.” Then continued to look.
“I’m sure you’ll find it.”
“I HOPE so!”
I watched her leave for a bit and wondered why she was looking for a pearl. Was it some precious object to her or an heirloom? Now I felt like a jerk--I shoulda helped her… Who am I kidding--I can’t help with a search when I don’t even really know what I’m looking for TT^TT Dang it all, now I feel useless and Nina looked so stressed-out.
I sulked down the hallway the rest of the way to my room. Meh… As soon as I’m doing showering I’ll be sure to help her out~ Yeah that’s it~ Instantly I felt better and marched the rest of the way. (Authernote: So easily turned positive, ain’t cha Chii? XD)
As soon as I was in my room I undressed and quickly stepped into the shower, letting the warm water jet onto my body. Ahhh~ Yeah! That felt great! I hadn’t had a shower since the dream thing and all that’s been going on since then had warn me out to no end.
So… Cheruu was back, which was great, but Shay was also back and back for revenge. I looked down, suddenly depressed again. I had more people to protect now. Lupe from her past and now Poochy from Shay. He had never said he’d hurt her, but anyone that would leave you was bad news and it was my blame that he was still pursuing me. If I would have died then, Shay wouldn’t know about Poochy being here! So… It was my obligation for the both of them.
But… As I thought this I wish I would have noticed that I’d forgotten to completely shut my door…..

Oh noes XD Chii you forgetful boy--of course he’s had a lot on his mind so technically a halfway open door is cause for that excuse!… Right?? X3
