I fell to my hands and knees trying to catch my breath from the blow I just received from Lee. He truly was someone to deal with and fight full heartedly but I doubt using my own electric attacks would work, well they surely wouldn’t be fair for a sparring fight anyway. As I caught my breath, I could see into his eyes that he was ready for more. I mean indeed he was a fighting type, and he did have the upper hand since I was electric but I refuse to go down without a little more fight left in me.
It took a few minutes before I stood up and spat some blood on the ground. Oh this thrill to fight came back again. I mean really. It has been so long that I felt this thrill, I am so excited. I bent, my knees and put my fists out.
“Alright Lee, I see that I under estimated you, but should you really be underestimating me as well.” I smirked and built up some energy and slammed it into the ground causing the dirt to fly up.
Lee quickly raised his hands to block the dirt from his eyes. The dust continued to surround Lee and he tried to look around but was unable to find me. “Where are you Lux?” He demanded as he looked around as the dust began to fade a bit.
“Right here!” I came up out of the ground gave him a huge blow to his chin sending him flying into the air. I heard him moan and I quickly left the dust and bolted away. I heard him hit the ground and tried to get some distance between us I stopped and turned my attention to him, but he quickly sat back up, felt his chin, and his eyes became cold.
He began to dash towards me and as soon as he came close I charged him. We exchanged blows, when I hit him in the face, I got a kick to the stomach. When he threw me to the ground, I rolled over and head butted him. Even if we didn’t hit each other, we were evenly matched for blocking our blows. Nevertheless, he and I gave blows that were meant to injure the other. He barely left me any openings, and I had to make sure I never give him any. In one mear second, I found and opening and took it, but as my arm swung around to punch him on the broad side, he grabbed my arm and within that second I flinched.
“What were you thinking? That I really would let you have that opening?” He asked as his gripped tightened as he began to twist my arm.
“Oh shit!” I snarled. It was a damn trap. My eye grew big with concern as the pain began to grew in my right arm. I could feel the sweat on my body. “Let go damn it!” I swung my other arm but at that second I felt the break in my right arm. I quickly jumped back in agony. I never had a broken arm before.
“You fight so obviously. I knew if I gave you that opening you would take it. I was two steps ahead of you.” He said as he crossed his arms.
I stood there holding my right arm with my left as it dangled by my side. I couldn’t help but give him a sly smile. “And do you really think I would let you break my arm if that easy Lee?”
His stern look on face grew to one of shock. He fells to his knees holding his chest. “When did you?”
“You were right I did fall for a trap, but I planned accordingly to it just in case. As I let you break my arm, I used my left hand to break all of your ribs with the power of the electro magnetic forces in your body. It was something that you can’t feel right away. “ I sighed and looked at him.
He continued to pant as he slowly got up. “Well it looks like we are equal. I have broken ribs and you have a broken arm. I see you aren’t as obvious and rash as I thought.”
“Thank ya!” I scoffed as I looked down, but in that slight instant Lee attacked me again. However I dodged it and ran into the forest at high speed. I looked to my right holding my dangling my arm and saw Lee running at full speed threw some trees some 10 yards away. As I continued to run, I guess I wasn’t paying attention but I tripped over something and fell face first into the ground.
I turned my attention to it I saw Sparks looking at me strangely. I gave him a quick kick to the stomach. “What the hell man? WHAT THE HELL!!!” I grabbed him and shook him with my left hand. “Why the hell are you here?”
“I….I…was following you and fell asleep.” He stuttered as he looked at me.
“WHAT???? YOU CREEPER!” I screamed as I shook him harder making him dizzy. “I don’t swing that way buddy.”
“Huh…WHAT?” Sparks replied very shocked and stood up. “I am straight Lux. I just followed you because well we are both electric types it has got nothing to do with it. I like girls!”
He was turning red. “Haha I am kidding man.” I slapped his back. But suddenly I felt Lee’s presence get closer and I grabbed Sparks and threw him towards Lee. “Sorry man!” As I ran off.
Lee caught him and set him on the ground. “Are you alright?”
“Yeah I am.” Sparks said in confusion.
“Alright well I will be off to find him.” Lee said as he took off.
Sparks sat there for a few minutes and was a bit confused. “What the heck is happening?” He too went after both of them shortly behind.
I dipped my head into the water and stood up to cool myself down from the fight. I looked north and saw Lee coming and I ran at him with all my power.
“LET’S END THIS!” I screamed building a electrical attack in my left fist and I ran at him.
He nodded and built up a enough power in his legs. As I swung my body it appeared I was going for a blind shot for a punch but it was actually an upper cut. In an instant we both froze and stood there in our own blows. I received a kick to the chin and I gave him an upper cut to the cheek. Within a second both of us fell over from the power we both dealt one another.
Moments later Sparks came running out of the forest and ran over to check up on both of us. “Hey you guys. Are you alright?” As he began to shake me.
“GAHHHH!!!” I starting whining like a child. How embarrassing but everything was hurting so much. “You bastard Lee, that last one hurt!”
“Oh shut up.” He muttered in his own pain. “Take it like a man.”
"I DON"T WANNA!!!" I cried a small bit but that cry turned into laughter. Both Lee and I began to laugh but were cut off by the shocks of pain running through our bodies.
Sparks blinked as he watched us. “Now I know I missed something.”
Lee stood up. “It’s alright Sparks. Our sparring is done and I think both him and I had enough for one day.” He reached out his hand to me. “I think it would be wise if we go back now since the sun is setting.”
I gave him a glare because I wasn’t convinced that he was being helpful. “And how do I know this isn’t a trap Lee?” I tried crawling away but my body still was a bit numb.
He gave a slight smile. “Trust me. It’s a draw between us.”
I blinked in surprise. That damn bastard who is always cool around everyone and patient actually has a personality. I gave him a cocky look. “I see a smile. Who know you were able to do such a thing.” I grabbed his hand and got the extra boost from him to stand. He lifted my left arm around his shoulder as a help for me to walk as my broken arm was by my side.
“Just because I tend to meditate more and appear calm does not mean I do not know how to smile.” Lee said as he looked off into the distance. His cool demeanor returned once again. At least he was back to normal.
“Well, I didn’t think you had it in ya!” I smirked with a slight chuckle. “Anyways, I am starved so lets go back. Hey Sparks you coming?”
“Yeah I am!” He responded as he walked on Lee’s left side.
Lee, Sparks, and I headed back to the mansion not knowing what to expect. I had no idea how to fix things with Hoom but I knew I had to try for the sake of our relationship. We walked on continuing our way with no regards to what the future would bring us.
