Mear
The Smeargle looked down at his plate. He had been staring at it stunned in confusion as to what to say and what to do. He was simply... there. The Banette Gijinka who sat on the other side of him appeared to turn around a bit unsure of herself. However, after a moment, Shupple was looking down at the page before her. Mear looked up and then around at the flyer's content. "Looks like a Spring Festival....." The Banette Gijinka commented before breaking off into a silence that seemed almost to make itself a presence and clear the room. Mear looked down at the flyer and realized that it was actually an event perscribed from outside the mansion itself and that a few pokemon and other Gijinka were planning it. His eyes moved over the page as an artist looks at a work to decide whether or not it was of worth or not, and after a moment, Mear looked away. A strange pit had formed lightly in the Smeargle's stomach, and he was unsure of anything he wanted to say. However, the words in the end came upon him quite easily enough. "Shupple?" Mear asked keeping his voice level and articulate. "Do you want to go to the festival... with me?" The last part had all but been twisted by the sudden rapacious nerves that had worked their way into the Smeargle. However, a smile managed to force its way on Mear's face as well. Shupple all but appeared completely and totally stunned as though a part of her was unable to believe that Mear had actually asked while another part was unsure of how to respond on the matter. After a moment, the Banette Gijinka ran her fingers through her hair and looked away unable to say anything for a few seconds. Mear felt his eyes suddenly dodge as well, and for a moment, there was silence.
"I... would love to, Mear," Shupple answered as though she were asking a question rather than giving an answer, but a smile worked its way on Mear's face none the less. Both sat at the table a long time saying nothing in particular. A few minuscule words were spent here and there, but for the most part, nervous laughter and a steady peace consumed the both of them. After a few more minutes, both Gijinka stood after having finished their food and began to walk aimlessly about the house both carrying some sort of thought unspoken.
As they continued walking through the house, Mear found himself looking around it once more. He had made it, indeed, but there was something to the house that it was developing on its own.... maybe somewhat of a character, beyond previous pretexts, of its own. Moving his head back in front of him, Mear found that he had all but nearly run straight into someone else. Stopping in a half second, Mear took a step back. "S-s-sorry," he stated a loud.

Ugh, sorry I disappeared. I have summer reading that I am trying to finish... and if ya know me, you know I can't put down a good book.
