Arrival...

Some where in the forest heading towards the mansion from the city, Xio followed the directions of some Gijinkas he ran into while in the forest.

“Tsk. Those rotten ass holes said he headed this way. Maybe I should have not killed them?” Xio complained as he chewed on a twig in his mouth. “Either way, they were annoying. Damn Dittos.”

Xio was heading towards the mansion to find Lux since he heard rumors of a Luxray who was making some strong impressions on people of many villages. Lux had made a reputation that was heard of across the land, Xio who was on the other side of the country found out and went to search for his fellow rival as a child. After the burning of the village, Xio went on his own and trained for his own good. His path is still unclear, but from the way he was, it would appear that he was damaged from the day he left that he had a rough past.

“God, there is so much brush here. Maybe I should use some lightning attacks and get this crap out of my way?” He muttered to himself as he pushed tree branches out of his way and jumped over some roots. “This is just annoying, if I use my attacks than surely someone will see them. I have been walking for 4 hours. How far is this damn place?”

The sun was beginning to set in the west and he was clearly walking. He began to chew on the twig a bit more out of annoyance and being irritated, which is when he began to kick a rock. He would kick it in front of him as far as possible and catch up to it and repeat. It was amusing to him; he even began to kick the rock at trees breaking them in half. Throughout the forest you could hear him laughing, yet no signs of life would approach him. It was like the part of the forest he was in was dead. He kicked the rock again but as he looked in the direction of which the rock flew, he noticed a shadow move.

His ears quickly stood up and he tilted his head to the side. He listened to his surrounding and heard a slight breathing but continued on his way like nothing happened. Xio’s eyes wondered the edges of tress and the bushes and a small smile came to his face. He lifted his left hand and used his claws to cut a tree in slices.

“Come out, I know you are there, you pest!” Xio demanded very unphased. He turned his attention to the right and saw the being there.

“It appears even I can’t escape those ears and eyes my friend.” Said a Noctowl. He landed on the ground a few feet away from Xio. “I live in this forest and protect the creatures of it. I have heard you made some trouble in the city and I desired to see who was to blame for it.”

“Yeah, so what?” Xio asked as he looked off in the distance. The way he spoke, he seemed uninterested in this being and could careless of what he thought of Xio. “You scared of me? Obviously, you are no match so I don’t wish to fight weaklings.”

“I understand that, clearly. I know very well I am no match and wish to help you in anyway possible.” The Noctowl said fixing his glasses as the moonlight shimmered on him.

The winds began to pick up; the thought of the Noctowl helping him began to cross his mind. “I am looking for my brother.” He said smiling. “You see, we were separated many years ago and many people have tried to keep us apart. I don’t wish to cause trouble, honestly I don’t. I just wish to find my little brother again.”

A few tears came down’s Xio’s face. The Noctowl could only stand there and listen to the story of how Xio and his brother Lux were separated and that his own brother doesn’t even know he is alive.

“I see. From my knowledge, there is a Luxray that fits your description living in a mansion very close to here. “ Noctowl began to take flight in the air. “Follow me I shall lead you there.” He began to fly off in the north.

An evil smile came to Xio’s face. The lie he told the flying one, was believed and now he would finally get to Lux. Xio began bolting as fast as he could jumping over any obstacle that got in his way. Within minutes, Xio and the Noctowl were at the lake. The scent of others came to his nose and one of those scents was Lux. A slight chuckle came from Xio, which the Noctowl overheard.

“Is something wrong sir?” He asked looking down from the sky at the Luxray running at the edge of the water.

“I am just so overjoyed that I will soon see my brother.” Xio smiled. His face wasn’t the same, it was that of innocence. His smile was bright and his eyes were big.

Before Xio knew it, he was standing at the front door of the mansion. He looked up and down the building. “Thank you so much for helping me my good fellow.” Xio bowed.

The Noctowl only nodded and took flight into the night sky. His wings spread wide and as he flew into the night sky he disappeared into the darkness.

Xio turned his attention again to the door. The urge of excitement to see Lux was building within him. His hand began to reach for the nod but suddenly the door open and a young woman gijinka stood in front. He had no intentions of a battle nor did he wish to cause any trouble. His main motive was Lux and he would do anything to see him. Even desive others like he did with the Noctowl.

“Lux?” She asked as she hide herself a bit behind the door.
