Before I could even hear a question or attend the new guy in a proper way Estelle arrived from nowhere; its not that I didn’t want to see her, the thing was that I still wasn’t sure of how to handle the situation; by the things she said it was clear she wasn’t aware of anything and so there was nothing I could do.
Now the whole situation felt uncomfortable for two things; first one, apparently Estelle too didn’t notice the guy that was outside….hmm… second one, she reminded me Lux and that could be translated into a slight hurting feeling that was removed as quickly as possible.
To tell you the truth I didn’t know what to say or what to answer so everything began to turn even worst; however I was saved by my luck again when Hon and Gil appeared; at that very moment Gil took Estelle’s attention as if he knew about what was happening. I would have to thank him later for that.
The gijinka outside resembled a Luxray in all the aspects, he too was pretty similar to Lux but still the fact that the unpleasant aura he was spreading suddenly disappeared let me with an uneasy feeling. He began to talk and the perception about him began to slowly change since he appeared to be a gentleman who was looking for his brother Lux…Wait Lux?!! Yep my ears heard it; The guy’s phrases let me pretty surprised and at the same time they made me realize I didn’t know many things about Lux’s past, my fault of course for telling him I
was going to wait until he wanted to tell me
But you still want to do that right?
Of course….I’ll wait for him…
You know? If you don’t answer anything it would be weird
Once again the discussion with my thoughts was right.
"Really?! That's...well...wow. I mean, Lux has been always been..." The surprise in my phrase quickly changed into something else, making me notice that pain was still there, however I was determined to do something because being depressed for the rest of my life was not my option.
"I'm sorry, did he hurt you in anyway? Such a beautiful woman like yourself shouldn't ever feel that way. Actually, you are more beautiful than any woman I have ever seen before I mean it." What was wrong with everybody that day??!!!!! Definitely such a weird day for me…
Try to act as normal as possible woman!
"That...that is so sweet of you, nevertheless, Lux is a wonderful guy. He really means a lot to me. But you didn't even tell me your name. My name is Hoom, it's nice to meet you." Hopefully that looked normal enough for him.
"Oh where are my manners? My name my dear is Xio, I am also a Luxray as well. It's a pleasure to meet you." He had an interesting name.
As my mind thought about his arrival, I was suddenly grabbed by Xio and apparently saved from a flamethrower that could only came from…Hon! As soon as I was released my little brother had to learn a lesson about being impulsive with those attacks. My option was to punch him in the head and let him know I was angry with a low growl.
"Sorry sis!" The punch was not that strong but it would teach him something, I was sure of that.
“Seriously Hon do you want to attack Lux that badly?” He didn’t answer “Don’t worry I’ll promise we are going to let it all out tomorrow in a special training…what do you think?” Before he could answer an announcement of Lupe surprised us all, yep definitely our leader.
"My apologies if I seem rude, but is she always that demanding? She shouldn't be like that, she will never attract any males like that." Xio said and the only thing I could do was to laugh as I closed the door.
"Yeah, well that's Lupe for you. She's our leader. She is also a Lopunny as well." The faster we got there, the better. With that being said I grabbed Xio’s hand and formally welcomed him "Xio, you are more than welcome to join us and I believe that everyone would love to meet you, and Lux would be thrilled to see you again."
"Yes, he will be thrilled won't he?"
"Alright guys let's go." Hon said and then we headed towards the room.
During our little trip and in order for not creating an awkward silence, I decided the best option was to tell Xio and Gil about the mansion and what not; at one point Hon and Xio began to talk and then a question from Gil came.
“Hoom, are you really fine? I mean since I got here I can see you are nervous or something similar…” One from two options, he was very attentive to his surroundings or my face was being THAT bad….
“Sorry if I made you worry, its just that many things happened today and I think that I’m not accustomed to them yet. Still I feel better” I instantly answered
“Then I won’t ask anything about that subject…”
“Thank you” That little conversation was special since I could tell my answers towards him came in such a normal way, it was surprising, just as if I knew Gil from before and chats like that were normal for us.
That conversation left me happy and we arrived to the meeting place in a fast way. As soon as we entered Gil disappeared and went to sit somewhere else; I was going to offer him something to drink…There was Xio too so there wasn’t any problem
"Here. You look like you need one plus its tasty." I said while handing him the glass.
"You really are cute sweetheart." Xio said as he drank
"Why thank you! You really are too nice! If there is anything else I can help you with please don't be afraid to ask. I am going to go and sit with my brother." Any further conversation was going to be a problem to me.
"Go ahead, I understand." He smiled and then my ears didn’t understand what he said.
I headed to Hon’s location and as soon as I had him near I kissed the lump I made in a gentle way
"you are like a bad puppy, you know that"
"we can have more fun tomorrow, suns setting" He said as he wrapped me in a hug, instantly my body adapted to his and now I was pretty comfortable, my eyes noticed Melody when Hon said he loved us and then my mind returned to its thoughts.
I definitely wanted Gil to stay, there was something in him that I really liked; not in the way I liked Lux of course; not in the way I loved Hon either, it was different and now my curiosity was centered in that
New members began to gather in the front, some of them nervous about it, others trying to finish it as soon as possible.
Then things happened quickly. Gil about to make his introduction, then Gil’s face showing there was danger; at the very same moment that feeling, the familiar feeling of an angered Lux. An angered Lux bolting towards Xio with all he had and then my body moving on its own remembering the results when Lux wasn’t in control over himself.
Estelle had the same reaction and now we were both trying to stop him, there wasn’t any response.
Suddenly, a cold breeze and Lux’s arm frozen; the ice easily broken by him and eyes full of anger towards Gil.
“Lux, I’m not aware of what is happening between you two; however I’m aware those girls were willing to stop you it doesn’t matter the consequences for them” Gil was right, at least from my point of view, I was willing to do anything in order to stop him because one of the things I hated the most was seeing Lux full of anger yet suffering yet fearing the other Luxray. What happened between those two before for him acting like that? Xio seemed happy to see him it was obvious Lux didn’t share the feeling and for me it was clear at that point: I trusted Lux and if he felt that way towards Xio then something was wrong….
“He is right, besides do you think this is the right form to welcome your brother?” What was that comment??!!! It was made on purpose and that was something you couldn’t ignore…A feeling of rage began to gather within me but it had to be half controlled because attacking at that time was not the best option; I let the feeling focus on my eyes giving Xio a deathly glare that shut his mouth for a while (did she actually think that o.O??).
“You don’t have to look at me with those eyes Hoom; I know Lux is precious to you and I’m really sorry if the comment offended anyone but don’t you think that you are being exaggerated by standing in front of Lux like that? Besides I don’t know why he acted like that” Reality hit me but still my expression didn’t change, in fact, I was standing in front of Lux. My face turned to him and our eyes made contact for short seconds; Estelle was trying to calm him down even more.
My face then turned to Xio again and there were silent seconds until we heard Lupe’s voice again and at that point I began to calm again.
“Well Then let’s continue with the introductions!!!!” she was trying to take everything back to normal. My eyes noticed many members were now trying to relax, probably they were preparing to attack or defense; Lee’s Calm mind was making effect but not strong as usual and Estelle was taking Lux outside the room.
I turned and began to walk away from Xio
“I’ll be right back Lupe” I say trying to smile, Some fresh air would be great.
As soon as I exited the room Gil’s voice began to sound again.
“…Like I was saying….”
