Aberius
As I stood looking at the crowd, I felt a twinge of annoyance. Why do I keep being put in such situations...? I grimaced. I was near the end of the line and looked over towards the other end. I noticed the guy at the head of the line firing an ice attack towards the front of the room. I saw wheer his attack lead and it hit Lux squarely in the arm. Lux looked like he wanted to rip the one responsible to pieces. As the several exchanged words, I noticed Lux's target. It was another Luxray. The guy looked like the classic villain in the graphic novels he read. He had a nasty scent about him too. Not to long after the conflict began, it diffused. Then the Glaceon that had launched an attack earlier introduced himself. I looked at a nearby table and noticed another gijinka in hiding. The Loppuny had discovered him and he hit his head. Haha... Poor guy. He got up and introduced himself after having a microphone shoved in his face, then left the spotlight. A particularly nervous looking Staraptor introduce herself, then tripped and fell flat on her face... Ouch...
Several more gijinka introduced themselves. An even more nervous one was standing next to me and wound up biting their own tongue. Then it's was my turn. I put my hands behind my head, not needing a microphone.
"Yo," I began, "Name's Aberius. If you decide to call me Abbie, I won't mind it much, but don't make fun of it. Jerks don't get to call me Abbie..." I glanced over at the spot where Lux was, but found he was missing. "Moreover, I just got here, and I don't plan to stay long. I've got someone important I'm looking for, so I'll only be crashing here a week at most while I recover. Take good care of me, ne?"
After that intro, I got a lot of blank stares. I shut my eyes and left it to the next person. I really didn't have any intention on staying there long, but could I really get a lead on finding her...? I decided to worry about that later as I listened to the next gijinka's introduction.
