After what appeared to be a stare down, the Houndoom girl decided to leave the room. Many stares were upon Xio, he only shook his head and leaned against the wall. Lupe than made an announcement about continuing and so the gijinkas did.
Xio watched from the back of the room as a Glaceon introduced himself. After he was done, Xio witnessed a Mightyena being beat up by the Lopunny. The way she moved and the way her attitude towards the others seemed very familar.
Odd. This woman reminds me of someone I met before. Xio thought to himself as the Mightyena quickly introduced himself to the others. But I can't put my finger on it. Where have I see her before?
Next to approach the stage was a Staraptor who appeared very nervous and tripped over herself. Xio let out a small snicker from the trip that he watched but than Gil reached out to help the young woman up. Xio raised his eyebrow, he seemed a bit suspicious of Glaceon but was not sure why he interfered with Lux. Within a second the battle would have been over where Xio would have knocked Lux out, but maybe it was better than he did use that blizzard. Either way, this one was someone he wanted to know about.
Xio began to grow bored when another gijinka walked in late and an Absol gave his speech. It had been some time since he saw Lux now and his curiosity was getting the best of him, though to fit in he too would have to do an introduction. As the Absol departed the stage Lupe grabbed the microphone.
"Hey so who is the next one to go? Huh? Anybody?" Her eyes began to twich as some of the gijinkas coward in their seats and while others just wished to stay seated. Than her eyes were looking at Xio whom wasn't paying much attention anymore. "What about you pretty boy in the back?"
Xio turned his attention at her and didn't say a word.
"Yeah, I am talking to you pretty boy, get your ass up here already." Lupe demanded.
"Ah, you call me pretty? Does that mean you wanna go out with me sexy?" Xio chuckled as he headed up to the stage.
"Oh, please. I don't date men like you." She scoffed as she placed the micophone on the stand.
"Ah, that's too bad, but than again, your ears are way to big for your body. I guess I like a porpotional woman." He grinned as he grabbed the microphone and tossed the stand to the side.
Lupe only growled and flopped down next to Estelle who definatly laughed at the last statement.
The Luxray stood in front of the crowd and bowed before he spoke another word. "Good Evening everyone! First and foremost, I wish to apologize for the incident earlier. My sincerest apologies. My name is Xio, 21 years old, and I am a dark Luxray."
The crowd began to whisper among themselves and Xio only smiled and went on. "Yes, I know what many of you are thinking, dark is evil. Please, I am no such thing so please don't make hasty judgements on me." He began to laugh and brush his one hand threw his hair. "I realize I may appear very intimedating to you as well, and again, that is my ability so I apologize. But I wish to thank Lupe and that young Espeon over their for this hospitality and I hope to be welcomed here."
Everyone began to clap for both of them and Lupe only bowed and Estelle just waved.
Than a young woman in the crowd caught his eye. She appeared to be infactuated with Xio and he could bluntly tell from her face since she was turning a bit pink.
"So far I have to say I am very impressed with everything here, I found my dear brother, though he has some anger issues with me, some very nice people, and some very beautiful women..." As he approached a young Kirlia who was begining to shakes nervously as he kneeled before her. "Such as yourself miss." He gently lifted her hand and kissed it.
"What is your name?" He ask with a genuine smile holding her hand within his and looking into her beautiful eyes.
