"Hey so who is the next one to go? Huh? Anybody?"
Kiki wasn’t exactly paying attention to Lube as she kept glancing around at the boys around the room. ‘Some of them are close to my age but I wonder if any of them are signal. It looked like that Luxray and Houndoom are together...’
She glanced back at Lupe the Lopbunny who was speaking to one of the Gijinkas. "What about you pretty boy in the back?"
Kiki looked over her shoulder to see who she was talking to and saw the very hot Luxray Gijinka that was supposedly the other Luxray’s brother Xio. ‘Man oh man is he hot,’ Kiki thought dreamily. ‘But he looks like he could be out of my league and a guy that hot must be taken.’
The Luxray now stood in front of the crowd and bowed before speaking into the microphone. "Good Evening everyone! First and foremost, I wish to apologize for the incident earlier. My sincerest apologies. My name is Xio, 21 years old, and I am a dark Luxray."
’21??? Hmm that’s only five years older than me,’ Kiki thought. ‘Gaia would never let me date someone that old…but she’s not here so who cares!’ Kiki heard some of the other Gijinka were whispering amongst themselves and it sounded they were nervous or suspicious that he was a dark type.
"Yes, I know what many of you are thinking, dark is evil. Please, I am no such thing so please don't make hasty judgements on me." Xio said laughing and ran a hand through his hair. "I realize I may appear very intimidating to you as well, and again, that is my ability so I apologize. But I wish to thank Lupe and that young Espeon over there for this hospitality and I hope to be welcomed here."
Everyone along with Kiki began to clap for the two girls Lupe and an Espeon Gijinka. Kiki looked back at Xio and blushed when he looked into her eyes. ‘Ah oh he’s looking at me! Calm down girl don’t do anything stupid.’
Xio continued, "So far I have to say I am very impressed with everything here, I found my dear brother, though he has some anger issues with me, some very nice people, and some very beautiful women..." He walked over to Kiki to her utter surprise. She felt herself began to shake nervously as he approached her.
“Such as yourself miss,” The Luxray Xio said as he gently lifted her hand and kissed it and Kiki almost jumped in her seat.
“What is your name?” He asked her looking into her eyes.
“Uh…” Kiki was sure her face must be beat red. She gulped and said softly, “M-My name is Kiki…”
“Kiki? What a cute name.” He smiled at her and Kiki tried hard to control her blush.
“Th-thank you,” she said. ‘Why am I so flustered? Well he’s seriously hot and a little intimidating I guess.’
“Ahem,” Lupe said. “Hey man don’t hog the spot light. I like to have introductions covered before dinner.”
“Yes of course my apologies,” Xio said stepping back away from Kiki to her disappointment. “Would you like to go next?” He asked Kiki with a smile.
Kiki smiled, “Sure.” Having to face a crowd made her happy. She took the microphone from Xio. When he left to his previous spot she went to stand in front of the crowd.
She took a deep breath and gave a big smile as she spoke into the microphone, “Hello everyone my name is Kiki the Kirlia. I’m sixteen years old. I’m from Alamos Town and I’ve been traveling around for awhile. I would like to thank Lupe for allowing me to stay here and Kat for helping me out. I hope to get to know you all and be your friend.”
