~*~Okie dokie time for a post! In this: Aberius, Gil, Xio, Lupe, and Estelle.~*~
Aberius
As I walked away from the front of the room, I heard the Loppuny speak up.
"Hey so who is the next one to go? Huh? Anybody?" she said. She looked around, seemingly annoyed that no one else was volunteering. Then she seemed to pick her target. "What about you pretty boy in the back?"
The person she was addressing was the other Luxray that Lux had tried to mutilate earlier. He started to flirt with the Lopunny, but was shot down cold. I snickered. Then he replied with a crack about her being unproportional... This guy have a death wish...? I thought. The Luxray stepped up and took the microphone, tossing the stand to the side. I headed for the nearest couch I found, the Glaceon who called himself Gil already sitting there. I flopped down, put an ankle on my other knee, and leaned back with my arms up on the back of the couch as I listened to the Luxray introduce himself.
He bowed and then spoke, "Good Evening everyone! First and foremost, I wish to apologize for the incident earlier. My sincerest apologies. My name is Xio, 21 years old, and I am a dark Luxray."
Tch... he's younger than I am... I frowned and wrinkled my nose. Gijinka nearby began to whisper amongst themselves.
"Yes, I know what many of you are thinking, dark is evil. Please, I am no such thing so please don't make hasty judgements on me," he said. What the heck...? I thought. Being a dark type myself, that somewhat offended me. Xio continued, "I realize I may appear very intimedating to you as well, and again, that is my ability so I apologize. But I wish to thank Lupe and that young Espeon over their for this hospitality and I hope to be welcomed here."
Everyone began clapping for Lupe and Estelle. Suddenly, I saw him look in my direction and I was struck with a bad chill. Th... This guy's not right... I struggled as I felt a fraction of his aura he'd been suppressing until that moment. If I'm not careful around him, he could probably kill me... He might have killed Lux if Gil hadn't intervened... I looked in the Glaceon's direction out the corner of my eye. As Xio continued, Gil turned to face me and spoke.
"Isn't this troublesome?" he said. I nodded in reponse and looked at him.
"Yeah," I replied. "I just got here and I have no idea what's going on, really. Your name was Gil, right?"
Gil nodded as well, "And I believe you said you were Aberius... Abbie?"
Hearing him use my nickname, a bit of my former self twitched, but I shook it off, "Yeah... I'm supposed to be looking for someone... I would like to get out of here as soon as possible. Sorry if I seem anti-social, but she's pretty important and I don't know if she's safe."
Gil stared at me as I spoke. "You're right to rest for a while, though," he said. "There are bounty hunters around the area, but the landscape helps to keep them away, it seems."
I frowned, "I made it here relatively unharmed. The damage I took was getting banged around and washed ashore, plus hunger..." I squeezed my hands together, digging the nails into my skin, though not breaking it. "She's out there, somewhere. I have to find my Master..."
Gill looked at me in silence as if looking for something to say. I put my forehead to my hands and exhaled. Another introduction was going on in the background.
"I'm sorry," I said. "I'm kinda frustrated here..." My hands shook as I tried to fight back tears of frustration. Then... my stomache growled.
~*~ XD Lmao. What a way to ruin the moment, Abbie. So yesh, Gil and Abbie are getting aquainted and Abbie sensed a bit of Xio's true nature. =O__O;= If anything not straight, lemme know, mmkay? =3 Ja mata~*~
