~*~Okay, like I'd said before, I'm just gonna post what Gil might say, since Kro-chan's having a busy time =;.;= Also, since there hasn't been much info about the upcoming festival, I may have to improvise. Anywho, here goes...~*~
Aberius
I looked down at my stomache and put my hand over it, my face flushing. I frowned, Why the heck does my stomache have to growl now...? Gil, who was somewhat silent before, couldn't hold back a snicker. I looked at him with a somewhat upset expression. As my face was probably still a little red, the laughter he was trying to hold back came out. Geez, why does everybody laugh at me...? Gil wiped a tear from his eye.
"You know," he said, "you're a funny guy, Abbie." He smiled.
I blinked at him and frowned slightly, "I wasn't trying to be funny, y'know...?"
Gil laughed again, "I know... but you still are. That's not a bad thing, ahaha. When this meeting is over, would you like to go to the kitchen to find something to eat?"
I put one hand behind my head and leaned back. I rubbed my stomache with the other hand. "Yeah," I replied, "and I guess I'm going to need to find a place to sleep while I'm here."
Gil shifted in his spot and nodded, "That Houndoom girl, Hoom, was supposed to have shown me my room, already. I wonder what's taking her so long?"
I shrugged, since I hadn't met her yet, "I won't worry about it too much, myself. I'll most likely sleep outside, since I'll only be here for a week."
Gil turned towards me, "You're really insistent on leaving so quickly?"
I turned my head towards him, "A week isn't quick enough. It's been five days since we were caught in that storm at sea. If I wait too long, who knows what could happen to her?"
"Were you two the only ones traveling together?"
I shook my head, "There was also a Lugia gijinka traveling with us. I haven't seen her, either. Maybe she's with Master. It's possible they're both safe, but..."
I didn't finish my sentence. Gil didn't press much further. I wondered what brought so many gijinka together in this place.
"So," I asked Gil, "why are you here at this big house?"
"It's actually called a mansion," he replied. "I... just happened upon it and felt I wasn't really doing anything better..."
Gil didn't say much after that. I guess he doesn't want to talk about his past... I won't pry, then. "Is that so?" I said as I leaned back and looked around the room. The raging Lopunny had taken the spotlight again and was announcing some big festival event.
A festival, huh...? I thought. Master, if we see each other again, we'll go to one together... Just the two of us.
~*~Alrighty, I didn't have Gil take Aberius to the kitchen just yet, Kro-chan. I think it's not yet safe to leave the meeting hall... *glances at Lupe* =>_>;= But let me know if there's anything that needs changing and whatnot. I hope people start posting again so we can move forward =o.o=~*~
