Mear works best in small groups that he tends to be able to get to know more.
Hometown: just outside of Lillycove
Likes: drawing, nature, and humming to his "Own Tempo"
Dislikes: loud things, crowds, and people stealing his sketchbook
Fears: lightning and fighting pokemon
Weaknesses: spends too much time drawing, doesn't really like fighting, fighting pokemon
Strengths: almost perfect drawing ability, can use sketch to copy any move he sees
Full Outfit: (from top to bottom) Mear wears a white beret on top of his head, painted brown circles under his eyes, a white painter's jacket with brown sleeves, brown pants, and white and brown shoes. He also has a red footprint insignia on the back of his jacket that corresponds with the tip of his tail.*
*I looked up more information on Smeargle and they have their footprint imprinted on their back with the color of paint they use. Because Mear has a red insignia on his jacket, it is known that he uses red paint.
Background: Mear grew up in Smeargle colony and learned at a very young age his love of drawing. With that, Mear spent extreme amounts of time drawing on trees, rocks, even the grass. Finally obtaining a sketchpad from his family for his fifth birthday, Mear began to fill the pages with sketches and things. His group remained relatively sheltered from hunters (for some unknown reason). After turning eighteen, Mear decided to leave the colony in search of more things to draw and see.
