Background: When he was a kid, his father would abuse his mother saying that it was her fault when things went wrong. He stopped his father from going any further and told him that he was a gijinka because that meant he was special. After that his father moved out. After all of this Hiro's village was invaded by team galactica (sp?) and burned down.
Hiro tryed to stop a friend from falling off a cliff with a burning rope. Even though he got his friend almost all the way to the top, the rope snapped and he fell to his death. Now he loves making friends and if they are in danger, he is willing to give his life to save them
