Shupple
"-Ahem... We will be having dinner in 2 hours so do what you have to do before eating. Brush your teeth, take a shower, fool around, whatever. Estelle, Melody and Faye come with me-" She paused for a second. "WHEWWW.. And yo, take a loooong shower. Some of y'all stink! ..... That's all," Lupe finished and I looked at Mear and saw he was still looking at his sketchbook with a blank look.
"You wanna meet at dinner?" I asked him and he looked up from his world and looked at me and just nodded. I guess he had some stuff to figure out... Meanwhile, I had to too.
Standing up and exiting the room, I headed up to my room to take a shower and talk to the ghosts while I could. There was a lot of negative energy around me, besides me being me, and it was forming in a strange way. I could feel it from that guy, Xio, and not just the evil inside him. I’ve felt that type of presence before from Shift… and it hadn’t been pretty then, but it was more powerful in Xio, but something else was sitting in the back of his mind… That wasn’t hard to tell.
Getting up to my room, I immediately closed the door and locked it. Going into my bathroom, which was dimly lit like I liked it, and took a quick shower. Afterwards, I quickly got dressed and started to mediate at the foot of my bed. It was the only way I could really come in contact with the ghosts…
I started to hear them, so I just ignored the voices by twitching my head a bit and concentrated.
“Show me what you have to show me,” I told the ghosts in a bare whisper and they swirled around me and I closed my eyes as I started to get a headache…
I could see Shift among the people at the festival, and a few others too, but no bounty hunters. I could almost see a fight but that faded away quickly. The people’s attitudes around me where happy and joyful and I was enjoying the festival with them and Mear. It had been more fun than I had had in years, and yet… Shift was there. Why, of all people, was he here? I could, though, see him walk off after saying something to me and never returning.
I could tell among the people that there were different auras, something mixing in with the happiness, but I couldn’t tell.
That’s when my headache grew and my hair dripped water onto my clothes, which made me come out of my trance and look up at the clock. About an hour, maybe, had passed. Thirty minutes until dinner…
That’s when I stood and got a weird idea. I hadn’t calmed the nerves in a while for people… and it seemed like Xio would need it most… maybe just for him to think it over and relax instead of being the way he is with that act… I couldn’t tell what type of person he was but there was something different about him… I just couldn’t tell.
Walking over to my desk, I grabbed out a piece of parchment and wrote in my neat, cursive handwriting,
“Xio, meet me in the Main Room on the second floor at one o’clock tonight. You need a session that I only specialize in, and it’s not what you think at all. Call it a… relaxation that will release your negative energy towards whatever is happening in your head and I won’t bother you again. And don’t try that act of nice on me. It’s easy to tell you’ve had acting lessons.
Shupple the Banette”
Deciding that Mear should have one too, I would ask him at dinner tonight. Slipping the note into an envelope, I closed it shut and wrote Xio on it. I handed it to one of the ghosts in the walls, and knew to place it on the roof. Apparently, it knew where he rested, which is creepy in all ways.
Pushing down my hood, I headed out of my room and over to the dining hall at the precise moment everyone was arriving. Weird. I looked at the seats in the dining hall and found my name next to Mear’s, which made me smile. Going over to it, I sat down and Mear came in slowly with his hair wet also and his sketchbook in hand. This was specifically why I was going to include him on the thing tonight. I could tell he had some negative aura around him, and it was probably about drawing.
“Hey, Mear?” Mear looked up at me and I gave a very, very small smile. The thing about Shift was still bugging the hell out of me. “I’m doing this relaxation session thing that can release the negative energy in a person tonight. You want to come?” I asked him quietly as Lupe announced somebody in the group that was new but I ignored it.
“Sure,” Mear told me with a nod and I just gave him a smile as I saw an old man walk into the room and sit in between Hoom and Hon.
They seemed unsettled about the figure, who seemed to be their father, and shifted uncomfortably. The man had the same negative energy as Xio, but in a different way.
How much negative energy was going around today besides me acting gloomy like always?
--------------
Yep... The idea about Xio had come to mind about a few days ago, so yeah... I'm sick today, so people can talk to me if they want ^_^
Shupple doesn't do this negative energy thing a lot, so yeah XD She rarely does it and I'm having her to do it so that she can get to know more people, even though she knows most of everybody's names lol XD
Continue?
EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention about Shift. He's a Shiftray that used to be a friend of Shupple's until he betrayed her, and I'll only be introducing him at the festival and then, most likely, he will be gone forever. Yep... pretty much.
