Dinner had started, everyone was ether eating or talking, and some where doing both. I just stared at the feast before me. How the hell is it possible to make this much food in two hours?! Some time during the meal, Lupe brought in a stranger, who was introduced as Hon and Hoom’s father. As I ate, I examined everyone’s expressions. If those three Houndooms are family, why do they seem like enemies? I thought to myself. Suddenly, Lupe-sama started a conversation. After asking if the food was delicious, a voice cried out, “OH YEAH,” drowning out almost everyone else’s replies. I watched as the discussion, I smiled a bit. Lupe was acting like a police asking trick questions to get the truth out of the two boys she was speaking to, currently the only one I knew the name of was Hiro.
BAM.
All heads turned to the Houndooms.
“Emm, Lupe can we excuse us for just a moment? We need to talk in private with our father, right Hon?” Hoom said. She let them leave, and then continued with her interrogation.
"-ahem...Ha-ha! Yeah! Almost like eating a box of chocolate, huh?" Lupe tried smiling, but her eye twitched twice.
"Chocolate? Never tried it..." One said.
"GIRL, You speaking my language! Chocolate is... GAWSH, chocolate is too good to describe" Hiro yelled, happily. Smiling, I silently agreed with him. Chocolate really is too good to describe. Lupe laughed dryly.
"Is it... like eating... Chocolate...Yum... Yumssss?" She said, twitching at almost every pause. Hiro’s eyes suddenly lit up.
"THOSE ARE SOOOO YUMMY! I ACTUALLY TRIED IT TODAY! It was in a cabinet with a... creamish knob..? But anyways, there was one stack left under these packs of nasty, yucky cinnamon bread rolls and I was so lucky to have taken the last of it! The wrapper was Golden... OH GOSH LUPE IT WAS S-” BANG
I flinched as Lupe-sama threw her plate into Hiro’s face. The boy sitting next to him flinched, as some food hit him too. Several people’s mouths flew open, and there were a couple of people gasping. ‘h-how many times must this guy get in trouble, and hurt?!’ I thought, my eyes wide, as I sat still like a frozen statue. ‘oh gosh, I’m not sure I want to see what happens next…’
"So... it was you Hiro... heh.. heh... heh…You... ate my... Special Edition Chocolate Yum Yums..? You... ate them...? Huh...?"
"W-why, I... didn't-" the dizzy boy began.
"SHUT UP!!” Lupe-sama yelled, looking very, very, VERY angry and evil.
"You low down, dirty piece of shit... I let you stay in my mutha f.cking house... and you DARE TO TAKE MY SPECIAL EDITION CHOCOLOATE YUM YUMS?!?! DIDN'T ANYONE TOLD YOU NOT TO MESS WITH MY SHIT, F.CKER?!?! HOW DAAAAAAAARE YOU!!"
"Lupe... It's okay; Just calm down..." The one known as Estelle stood.
"CALM DOWN?!?! HE TOOK AND ATE MY MUTHA F.CKING YUM YUMS! NO ONE EVERRRR TOUCHES THOSE BECAUSE THEY KNOW... THEY KNOOOOWW!!!"
" But I didn't know......" With that one sentence, Lupe became insane.
"YOU DIDN'T KNOW?!?!? AHHHH!!" Lupe started running toward him, on the table, not minding the food spreading all over the place. ‘who the heck cleans up all of this?!’ I thought, thinking about the hard time it will give them. I slapped my self in the head. There is screaming all around me, someone about to die, and all I can think of is the mess?! I must have been dropped when I was a kid…
Lupe was about to strike the scared Hiro, but it failed and stopped due to a sort of protection from Estelle.
"Hiro-kun, you must run!!" Estelle yelled to Hiro. I was still frozen, kind of scared, as I watched. I noticed the one sitting next to him who wasn’t at the meeting follow him.
"COME BACK HERE YOU SLITHERING LITTLE BITCH!! COME PAY FOR WHAT YOU OWE!!!!" Lupe tried attacking again, but Estelle did the same as before and protected Hiro. The unknown boy had ran out the door, unnoticed. Then Estelle grabbed Hiro by the shirt and started to shake him continuously.
"THE YUM YUMS, HIRO-KUN! WHY WOULD YOU EAT THE GOLDEN YUM YUMS?! NOW ALL APOCALYPSE IS GOING TO BREAK LOSE! WHY HIRO-KUN WHYYYYYY?!" She yelled at him.
"I DIDNT KNOWWWW!!!!" He cried in his defense. Estelle ordered two of the gijinkas to grab Lupe, and hold her back.
"YOU F.CKING SH.ITFACED WEIRD SMELLING ASSHOLE!! THAT WAS THE LAST OF THE PACK! YOU WILL PAY WHAT YOU OWE!!!! YOU WILL-” Lupe was interrupted by a loud crash as Hoom fell through the ceiling, holding a child within her arms.
"What the hell?" Lupe said. She pushed the two boys away to check on Hoom. "Don, are you all right? It’s ok nothing bad will happen to you” Hoom told a little child, hold him tighter. Estelle ran to the big mess as Hoom continued. “Besides here is one of my friends that is no going to let anything bad happen to you right?” She handed the kid, or Don, to Estelle. Hoom stood up, and tried to limp back outside.
"Yo, what just happened? Who roasted your beans?" Lupe asked, helping Hoom, completely forgetting the shivering Hiro whom she was about to murder.
"My father... He's... working for them."
"Aw, shit" Lupe groaned. "Want me to help kick some bounty hunter ass?" 'bounty hunters? Oh, she means those things that attacked me before I found this place….’
"No Lupe, you must get the gijinka out of here. The whole pack is here. I'll take care of him. Get them out of here NOW!" Hoom growled. Both girls had a serious look on their faces. Suddenly, you could hear someone running towards where we were. I came out of my frozen state, and my eyes widened. I stood up quickly, forcing my chair to fall to the ground as I did. Nobody noticed, this situation was too serious to notice minor things like that.
"Ya heard that?? This is a Code RED. RUN!!!" Lupe yelled. Everyone ran around, going toward the exit. My body was tense as I looked back while I left with everyone else.
What the hell is going on?! All I could tell was that there was going to be a big fight. My eyes narrowed at the thought of all the gijinkas here getting separated. With all the voices of the scared, brave, and some in between, I felt anger rising in my throat. I just got here, and we are under attack. All of us. Adrenaline pumped through my veins. If I had to, I would hurt myself to keep this place safe. There is too many people living here and for all of them to just die would not be enjoyable.
Smiling slyly, I prepared myself for whatever was happening next.
I am a bird of prey. This event is what my wretched life has led up to.
This type of drama is what I live for.
