Alright this is the 2nd installment of Badass of my 3 part series lol. I will get the last part up tomorrow.
Includes: Lux, Xio, Gil, Abbie, Hoom, and Lupe
It was that strange feeling again, just like when I smelt her scent on Lee. But the way he treated her for being here what a day or so was abnormal and how everyone who saw him swooned over him. Just seeing him taking care of her and healing her as best he could was hurting me.
I could only stand behind a tree as I watched as Abbie appeared and began a conversation with Gil. From what I heard, Gil had defeated Hogan with one hit, obviously Gil wasn’t as weak as he looked or pretended. I continued to stand behind the tree as I listened to their conversation. Again, he touched her gently, I began to burn up but what was I to do? I can’t be the hero all the time, clearly I didn’t make it in time for her…I failed her…
My heart began beating faster and faster, suddenly, I bolted into the forest without them suspecting me to be listening in on them. In no matter of time, I found myself sitting at the edge of the river where Xio’s and my battle had taken place. Looking down at my reflection, I wondered what Hoom had seen in me? Gil, that Glaceon was deffinately someone I was not sure of. I hate to admit it, but he has me hands down in the looks department.
Dipping my head into the water and cleansing my face from burns, blood, and any other dirty particles, I thought more in depth about my current situation. He too has a past, but he doesn’t bare the scars you do on your back and your face. He also very much a gentleman and knows how to swoon the ladies where for me, I usually am just the big brother. Is it just the luck of the draw?
Pulling my head out and fixed my hair back into its normal position and wiggled my ears. It would appear for the moment that the fighting was done. Maybe it was best to leave Hoom and go off with Xio. I mean she has Gil and Lee and so many others, whats the big deal if I leave?
My ears quickly perked up as I heard russling in the woods and a scream from someone. It was an unfamiliar one so I got to my feet and followed the scream in the direction it came from, to my surprise I saw the individual on the ground suffering as he dug his claws into the dirt and began panting. He was in a cold sweat and as I got close I saw his face, it was Xio struggling. He was tossing and turning on the ground it seemed he was in his own world as he kept repeating, “Not now! Not Now!”
I was surprised by his behavior as he kept one of his hands on his forehead as the other picked up dirt. He began to spit up blood and that’s when I saw it. His neck was beginning to show the same tattoos as I did once before after the contest when I was taken over.
Kneeling beside him I lifted him by his jacket to face me. He still didn’t respond to me and didn’t realize I was there.
“Xio can you here me? Snap out of it man!” No response except his own mumbling. “Hmmm…well, since you won’t snap out of it, I am going to enjoy this.” Yup, a bit of revenge will taste great and with that said, I gave him a right hook as hard as I could which somehow brought him back to normal.
“WHAT THE HELL LUX?!?” He roared as he rubbed his cheek. He wasn’t amused but I surely was.
“Haha, man have I waited so many years to do that. And it was so easy too!” I scoffed sitting down crossing my arms. He only glared and rubbed his cheek more. I noticed his tattoo was strating to disappear. “Xio?”
“What?” He growled as he stood up fixing his jacket.
“You have it don’t you?” This was serious, I needed to know.
He only shrugged as he whipped the sides of his mouth. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“Stop playing games you dolt, I saw it. Your tattoos, you mumbling ‘not now,’ coughing up blood, and you were losing yourself. You have that disease too.” He looked at me a bit surprised as I stood up next to him. He knew I was serious.
“So what you’re saying is, that you have this disease as well?” He asked.
“Sadly, I have it for a few months and it was forced upon me. But yeah, I do have it. You know what it is right.” Cleaning out my ear, he let out a sigh.
“Yes, I have had it for 3 years now. It would appear that you are handling it better than me I suppose.” He said as he took a step forward. “It’s purpose was…”
CLASH!
He was interrupted as a huge explosion was heard from afar. Suddenly the scents of many came to our noses, which we interrupted as more minions and the reinforcements.
“Crap there is more of them?” I snarled as I leaned back in my arms standing there. “I don’t think I’m interested.”
“Oh is that so? What so you going to lose to that Glaceon?” Xio remarked with a smirk.
I turned my head quickly and gave him a dirty look. “What’s that?”
He walked past me as the flames grew bigger in the sky. “You heard me. Do you really want to lose your woman to the likes of that Gil character? You’re a Luxray, take pride in that.”
I didn’t say a word but looked in the direction of the flames and followed Xio as he took off in that direction. He was right, I needed to take pride in that and not worry whether I was better than Gil or not, its what Hoom thought. I won’t lose to that jackass pretty boy. Now all I needed to do was kick some more asses and I would be good. I began to calm down with the idea of taking any stress out on these hunters.
I quickly took the lead and Xio followed behind as we jumped from tree to tree. Gil and Abbie were in sight.
“So how many are there?” Asked Gil as he watched the hunter approach in mobs.
“I must say there are about 50-60.” Replied Abbie .
“2 vs 60 right? I like those numbers.” Gil chuckled as he got down ready to fight.
Quickly Abbie looked at him funny and shivered. “Are you joking?”
Enough with these childish quivering, it was about time some Luxrays joined the fight.
“Sorry to change that information but I’m going to join!” I had arrived and the look on Gil’s face was epic. He surely was surprised to see me but hell wouldn’t be? Xio appeared out of the shadows behind me as we both landed on the ground in front of Gil and Abbie as the hunter ran towards us. I turned to face Gil with a sly smile.
“Where you going to let me behind? I already finished the other work, now what?”
“Well, that being the case….LET’S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!” Gil yelled as he bolted and kicked a hunter. Bastard went for the first blow. Tch.
The first one to ambush the hunters was Xio; after he punched the first hunter it seemed he had entered his own world of fighting and of course he began to enjoy himself since he was far beyond these hunter capabilities to battle. Standing there watching him, it came clear to me that I needed to do my fair share of battling. I needed a stress reliever.
With a big yawn and a stretch, along with a crack of my knuckles I got ready. “I’m not going to stay behind!!!” After that, I ran at the hunters with full force.
“They’re….Impulsive….” Gil muttered under his breath as he dodged some attacks at him.
As Abbie, Gil and Xio did their things, I did mine, such as using thunderbolts and quickly using my hand to hand combat as fast as I could threw the crowds of men. They were dropping like flies but they still came back for more. I grabbed three of mens arms and lifted them over my head and tossed them into some others. Hell, I didn’t need to use any of my attacks if they were this easy.
With the four of us combined we were keeping them at bay, but in due time we found ourselves surrounded, but to be honest, we all planned it that way, even though we never said it. All at once we used our own thunder, ice and dark attacks at the hunters which combined to create such a magnificent power destroying anyone that stood in its way. It wasn’t long at all when there was only 15 hunters around us, and right as we all got down in battle formation next to each other, we were interrupted by an earthquake which we all jumped off the ground to dodge the power. As we floated in the air, we all saw a blast come out of no where and the remaining hunters were defeated.
We landed on the ground and faced the direction of which the blast came, sadly that was a mistake as the person behind it was Lupe. All four of us saw her, which made us all go cold because clearly she was angry.
The bitching began. “WHAT THE HELL YOU MOTHER F-ERS?!? YOU GO OFF AND FIGHT THOSE BASTARDS AND DON”T LEAVE ME HARDLY ANYONE TO FIGHT? YOU ARE ALL SELFISH PIGS YOU KNOW THAT RIGHT?” She screamed as she stomped her feet as she approached. “I SHOULD REALLY KICK YOU ALL IN THE BALLS FOR THAT ONE, YOU STUPID SONS OF BITCHES!!! GOD I AM SO PISSED AT ALL FOUR OF YOU JACKASSES!!!
At this point I was annoyed. “Just shut up already bunny rabbit. And stop your yelping, you sound like an old smoker. We didn’t know your beastly ass was coming so we didn’t save anyone for you since we thought you were with the others at the mansion. Didn’t want you to break a nail or something.”
“What’s that Lux?” She growled as she stood in front of me as her ears twitched.”
“Know your place rabbit!!”
Sparks began flying as she and I got into a mini fight with tugging of her ears, her kicking me in the nutts, me grabbing her boobs, her punching me, me drop kicking her, and you get the idea.
At the time as Lupe and I fought, I guess Xio, Gil, and Abbie watched us both fight like children and sighed as we continued on. I wasn’t paying much attention but I guess they had some sort of conversation as Lupe and I fought.
Swinging her by her ears around and around I tossed her in the air and hit her with a thunderbolt. “HA TAKE THAT!”
She landed face first into the ground and struggled to get up.
“Stay down girl, you look better on the bottom. Too bad you will never see top or bottom!” I chuckled but as soon as I said that, I was hit by a huge rock in the face and sent backwards bleeding from my nose.
“BASTARD! I’ll kill you for that sexual comment!” She glared as she stood up shaking her fist.
I sat up and found my way up looking at her. She was breathing heavily from all the dirty words she screamed at me, and I was tired from having to deal with her and the battle that I had with her and the others.
“You’re not worth my time stupid tomboy.” I sighed as I rubbed the back of my head.
“The feelings mutual smurf.” She said as she crossed her arms and turned the other way. It was followed by a strange silence.
Gil broke the silence soon after as he sat down in the grass. “All of you are good fighters; we should train together some of these days. Is everyone all right?”
“I’m old enough to take care of myself” Abbie suddenly said
“Really? I haven’t noticed that.” Gil chuckled because Abbie was serious but it didn’t suit his demeanor well. I mean hell the kid is short.
Abbie too began laugh as well but that was followed by a silence after that. I guess we were still kinda uncomfortable with the others. I surely wasn’t comfortable with this Gil guy let alone this new mini runt.
“By the way Lux, isn’t your girlfriend bleeding to death inside the mansion? It’s not like I care too much, but shouldn’t you be there with her?” Gil asked as he tilted his head. The way he said it was rather disturbing. He definitely took my breath away when he said she was bleeding to death since moments earlier she looked like she was in okay condition. Than that bastard has the nerve to say he doesn’t care. WHAT THE HELL Is wrong with him? I really am going to kill him after all.
I couldn’t just stand there. I hurried off towards the mansion leaving the others behind.
