As the Luxray continued through the forest carrying the injured Roselia girl, no Pokemon Gijinka cross his path. The sun was beginning to rise and from where it was placed in the sky it was close to 7 or so in the morning. Even as he carried her, the sunlight did not wake the young girl, however, she did snuggle a bit closer to Xio's chest due to the warmth of his body and the rays of light. He looked down at her and only shrugged as he approached the mansion.
It had appeared many of the others already entered the building or went their own ways. Suddenly, the pain came back to him making him kneel to the grown as he kept a tight grip on the girl so she wouldn't fall. His breathing was unstable and he began to break out in a cold sweat. It was happening again, but this time he was trying even harder to resist it due to others being around him. He quickly shook it off as he heard foot steps approach.
"Hey are you alright?" Asked a Kadabra gijinka who quickly jogged over to the kneeling Luxray.
Xio looked up and smiled and gave a slight chuckle. "Yeah, I'll be fine. Just am tired from the battle is all. Ha ha ha...."
As he crouched down, the Kadabra nodded and looked at Xio. "I'm afraid we haven't met formally yet, my name is Badrak."
"A psychic huh? I probably can assume you already know my name than?" Chuckled the Luxray as he looked at the Kadabra.
"Well, not really, I haven't tried reading minds for awhile since the last time...well....I got into a bit of trouble." He brushed the back of his head and slightly smiled. It was obvious he was a bit embarassed.
"Alright, I understand. My name is Xio, its nice to meet you." Xio said calmly as he bowed his head.
"The pleasure is all mine." He than noticed the girl his Xio's arms that was sleeping soundly. "But who is this lovely lady you are carrying in your arms?" Badrak asked as he reached out a hand to touch her face and moved some hair. "A Roselia?"
"I have no idea who she is, actually. I found her half dead." Xio said as he stood up and the Kadabra followed. "She probably was attacked by the hunters and than blacked out. After that, I brought her here for safety reasons. I figured someone here could heal her...."
As Xio stood there talking about how he found her, the Kadabra noticed the blood from that Muk. Badrak figured it was nothing but was curious. He than began to read Xio's mind.
Xio quickly turned his eyes to Badrak, whom at that very moment tensed up. The Luxray, knew what was going on and kept the Kadabra from seeing any thoughts. It was like a wave of darkness that kept Badrak out of his mind. It was so quick that even Badrak wasn't sure what happened.
"Are you okay?" Asked Xio very concerned gently putting his hand on the Kadabra's forehead. "I need to find this girl a doctor and you don't feel or look so good yourself."
"Ahh...yeah you are probably right." He stuttered from his confusion. He wasn't sure what to make of Xio and how he was rejected from reading his mind. Was there something about Luxray's and reading their minds? "I know were our doctor is. He is already treating some of the wounded but surely he would see her. I think I will be okay."
"Please...please lead me to him for her sake." Xio innocently smiled and followed Badrak into the mansion.
