Slowly, I felt my senses return. I was aching all over. What had happened? Suddenly, the pain softened. I felt myself relax a bit. I opened my eyes slightly.
"Ugh... Where...? Where am I?" I said aloud. Then I noticed a girl sitting besides me who answered, "I don't really know, to be honest...We're outside of a large mansion..." I got up quickly with my eyes a bit wide in surprise.
“I made it back? Wait... I remember falling from the sky, so why am I not hurt...?" The cute green haired girl answered that question as well.
"Well, I... used Healing Wave on you..." She told me. ‘Healing wave? Oh. that must be a move she can use.' I thought. "Excuse me, but... is this the gijinka safe house?" She asked.
"Hm?" I rubbed my head, and felt stupid for almost forgetting what a gijinka was. "Yeah, I guess."
"I have one more thing to ask you... You see, I'm actually looking for someone and I think he's here... Have you come across any Absol recently...?" ‘An absol? Was that another type of… whatever we are?’ The girl awaited my answer, so I tried to see if I could remember anyone who had introduced themselves as a absol.
"An Absol? Hm... I don't think so..." I said, not remembering anyone at all. The girl looked disheartened. Then, the face of a boy gijinka at the meeting appeared in my head. “Oh wait! I think I saw someone like that at a meeting last night..." I looked at her with a slight smile that was barely noticeable. It vanished once I had thought of what made me fell from the sky. Mom’s face had appeared, hadn’t it? What’s with me and peoples faces appearing in my head anyway?!
Either way, speaking of a boy gijinka……
WAIT, I was with someone here. I had no time to think about stuff like that! I needed to say something to break the moment of silence between us. "I'm sorry, I didn't see much of him to begin with..." I apologized.
"I see... Thank you for your time," She bowed slightly to me. I smiled.
"Oh no... I should thank you for healing me. Thanks, um... What's your name again...?" I realized we never introduced ourselves. We just started talking.
“R-Raine..." The shy girl stuttered. I almost didn’t hear her.
"Raine? Thank you Raine. I'm Star, by the way. I'm actually somewhat new here myself. But I can fly above the mansion and see if I find him. As repayment for your help"
"A-Are you sure...? You sh-should rest..."
"I'm fine. You did a good job. In the meantime, why not go inside the mansion,” I told her, motioning to the door. “ I think some strange stuff has been going on, and it's safer in there. I'll come find you if I find him or not." I stood up, and dusted myself off. Raine bowed again.
"Th-thank you..." I smiled again, and ran off with a wave. My small wing grew larger and visible once again, the whole 14 feet of it, and I flew upward. Keeping the absol boy’s appearance in mind, I looked around. I then noticed something surrounding the mansion.
“Odd, when did we get a…” I thought of a word to describe it. “When did we get a force field around the mansion?”
I searched by looking at the ground, but then noticed him on the roof. As I did, I remembered his name. Good thing too, I didn’t want to go up to him and say, “Hey absol dude, somebody’s looking for you,” that would be a bit embarrassing. I landed nearby, and saw he was asleep. ‘What should I do? Yell at him? No, that would be… rude, I guess. How about shake him until he wakes up? … That’s also rude, and he might get mad at me. Could I watch him as he slept? … I might not get hurt or anything, but that would be creepy.’ I thought. I mean, how would you feel if someone you barely knew watched you in your sleep? ‘Like those damn scientists. Always watching you 24/7..’ I thought bitterly. ‘Wait, getting off topic here. I know! I’ll poke him!’ With that thought, I finally concluded I was crazy, but whatever. Poking people was fun!
…Yup, I’m crazy.
I went over to the albino and sat down.
“Um, Aberius, please wake up.” I said. Of course I received no response. Usually people don’t wake up with just a phrase. I poked him. “Excuse me, Aberius-kun?” I said aloud. He was still dead asleep. I started poking him in the check, something most people hate, and something I might get punched for. “Yo, Abbie-kun, wake up. Wake up NOW plz.” He stirred, but still wasn’t awake. I then noticed his small horn.
“It may be small but it’s cute... I think…” I barely touched it as he sat up suddenly, and grabbed my wrist
“What do you think you are you doing?” He asked with an annoyed look on his face. ‘ah, to wake him up I should poke his small horn. Or maybe comment on it. But.. If I do that again, I’ll most likely get hurt.. After all, he is older than me.’
“Good morning.” I said with a smile, trying to be polite. “I’m sorry for disturbing you, Aberius-kun, but there is someone here to see you.” I said as I slowly pulled my hand away. ‘Man, I feel like some servant informing their master about something, being all formal and stuff.’ I thought, keeping the pleasant smile on my face.

Again, sorry. My computer broke as I typed this a few weeks (or days) ago, It‘s now fixed, but my laptop will sometimes go on hibernate. and schoolwork.. Don’t want to talk about it…. Currently, I’m sneaking onto my laptop and hoping I don’t get caught -_-’
