”Xio. Thank you thank you thank you so much! I haven’t had this much fun in awhile.” Kiki said breathing heavily after dancing for two hours. She didn’t think she could do it but she did. She wished Gaia could see it. She always had doubts about Kiki dancing such an advance style.
“I feel the same way Kiki. I am very appreciative of you taking the time to dance with me. I had fun with you as well.” Xio said lying on the floor, gazing up at the ceilling.
“You know I don’t really know that much about you, but you’re different then anyone I ever met.” Kiki said. She leaned on one arm and looked over at Xio.
Xio turned his head and looked back at Kiki. “Is that so?”
“Yup!” Kiki said giggling. “I don’t know how to put it, but you aren’t like the other men I have met. You’re different. Thank you. I hope we can do it again someday.”
“You’re words are too kind my dearest Kiki and yes we shall dance again someday.” Xio closed his eyes, stretching and yawning. Kiki felt his hand over hers. Kiki smiled at the gestured and held his hand.
After of moment of peaceful silence Kiki looked back at Xio and asked.“So do you have like any family? You know a little about my family but what about yours?”
“Hmmmm, I do but it’s an old memory.”
“Do you want to talk about it?”
“Not really. “ Xio said opening his eyes and stared up at the ceiling “Like I said an old memory. Nothing more.”
“Ok….sorry for asking.” Kiki said looking away.
“Ha, you’re a lot like her Kiki…..I mean Lydia that is.”
Kiki looked back at Xio again. “Lydia? Who is that?” I wonder if she’s this person that Xio told me earlier.
“You really want to know?” Xio replied grining. “Ok come here, it’s a secret.” He said and winked.
Kiki movied closer to Xio until she was close even to whisper his so called secret then he leaned closer to her and kissed her on the lips. Kiki’s eyes widen in surprise but she kissed him back. He gently pulled her closer to him and held her cheek with his right and his left wrapped around her shoulders. Her heart fluttered excited in her chest and his kisses became more passionate. Then he pulled away and smiled at her.
“Xio?” Kiki said blushing, she could still taste his lips on hers. “Why did you…”
“Because I wanted too…” He said simply and stood up “Besides, you looked like you wanted it anyway.”
Kiki gasped she quickly stood up and stomp her foot “I DID NOT!”
“Haha, liar, your face clearly says ‘I loved it!’ Don’t deny it, you know you liked it and wanted me to kiss you so I did!”
“What about Lydia?”
“Guess you will find out next time.” He winked at her and left the room.
Kiki groaned a little annoyed but she found it cute and giggled.
Xio was at the doorframe when he suddenly feel to his knees and looked like he was in pain.
“XIO!” Kiki hurried to his side very concerned.“You okay?”
She suddenly heard screaming and then she saw electricity flying down the hall. “WATCH OUT!” Xio grabbed Kiki and pulled her in close and shielded her from the blast.
Kiki squeezed her eyes shut and hoped that Xio was okay from taking the hit for her.
When it appeared that the electric blast was over she popped her head out from Xio’s chest and looked at the walls. “What was that?”
Kiki could tell something was wrong as she smell blood and could hear distant shouting somewhere in the mansion. Another attack? Was someone figthing?
“Lux…it was Lux. Something happened to him.” Xio said suddenly and moved away from Kiki.“I need to find him, I better get going. Something is wrong.” He slowly began to walk in the direction of the scent of blood and where the wave of electricity came from.
“Wait Xio?” Kiki called after Xio. Xio looked back at her and Kiki felt nervous but she wanted to ask him right now before she lost her nerve. “Umm I was going to ask you about the festival…”
“Sure, I’d love too!” Kiki stared up at Xio surprised “It’d be an honor to go as your date Kiki.” He smiled at her and walked away.
Kiki blinked then she beammed with joy. “Haha! He said yes!” Kiki said twirling around once and skipped down the hall.
Wow this is great. I found a place to stay and met amazing Gijinkas and a totally awesome guy! Kiki thought grining. And I got a date for the festival. She giggled.
But you hardly know this guy, Gaia’s voice said in Kiki’s head. And he’s older than you. He’s an adult and you’re a child. Don’t you that’s a crime.
“Ugh..that…only applies to humans…and I'm not a child!” Kiki muttered.
Its still wrong, you don’t know him and you already kissed him. You only know him for two days. Kiki groaned. They say your conscience usually sounds like your parent than your own voice. Kiki’s conscience sounds a lot like her nagging older sister.
If your not careful you’ll end up with a broken heart
Kiki covered her ears even though she knew the voice was in her head. “Oh shut up Gaia!”
“Um…excuse me…”
Kiki blinked and saw a young Gijinka girl around her age. A ralts…just like Rally, Kiki thought. She smiled at the Ralts girl. “Hi. I don’t remember seeing you here well I am new here so I don’t know every body at this mansion. I’m Kiki.”
The Ralts girl looked very shy and said, “I’m Raine…I just got here.”
“Nice to meet you Raine,” Kiki said. “Your new too huh. I was hoping to find someone who know their around. I’m hopelessly lost. I can’t find where the girls’ rooms are.” Kiki said rubbing the back of her head.
Kiki paused for a moment and looked at Raine. “Did you hear those screams? A few minutes I was almost electrocuted by this electric wave I think it was a thunder shock attack that came out of no where. Do you know whats going on?”
Raine shook her head and looked fearful. “S-something bad happened…I can smell b-blood.”
Kiki nodded. “I should find that lopbunny Lupe. She’s the leader here have you met her?”
“Y-yes..” Raine mumbled
“Okay then!” Kiki said loudly clapping her hands together. Raine jumped at Kiki’s sudden outburst. “I’ll go find Lupe and found out whats going on.” Kiki looked at Raine. “Do you know where she is?”
Raine pointed down the hallway in the same direction Xio went. “Thanks,” Kiki walked away but stopped to turn back to Raine. “Are you going to be fine by yourself?”
“Um…” Rain said looking uncertain what to say. “I don’t know…”
“Then come with me then!” Kiki grabbed Raine’s hand and pulled her along.
“W-wait!” Raine yelped as Kiki hurried down the hall.
“Don’t worry!” Kiki huffed. “I can’t leave you alone when something bad is going on! I don't know what exactly but I think its better we stick together til we find out whats happening.”
She glanced at Raine then looked down and muttered. “You know I have a little brother who’s a Ralts too…” Kiki shook her head and hurried down the hall practically dragging Raine with her.
There were loud caoutic noises somewhere around the mansion, it sounded like a battle. Kiki grew nervous and wondered what was going on. After walking down hallways she finally found Lupe and other Gijinkas gathered around outside of the masion. A Glaceon Gijinka was injured, so there was a battle and everyone looked upset and worried.
Kiki wanted to be useful so she walked over to the Glaceon man who was bleeding from several wounds. “You’re Gil right?” Kiki asked him. “Are you alright? I can use Healing Wave.”
The Glaceon Gil shook his head. “No I’m fine.” He said he seemed distracted and was clearly upset about something.
A distant scream echoed from the forest. Kiki jumped and looked over at the forest anxiously. What was going on?
