Included: Hoom, Lux, Hon and Raine
Everything was calmed until Lux opened his eyes and had, what I supposed, a rush of all the pain; definitely not the best moment for Hoom to see him so I dragged her away from the room and took her with me to the waiting room…Hmmm how to put it…She was the most nervous girl I had never seen in my entire life and I guess her feelings reached me since I too began to feel the same.
There’s no way he returns to the previous state right?....Doctors knew what to do, besides they has stabilize him before.
I sighed looking at nothing in particular because trying to talk with Hoom would be in vain, besides she too was giving her best attempt to appear calm, so something told me that if I talked, she was not going to be able to handle it. We didn’t have to wait too much before the doctor came to us and asked me to come; apparently Lux was going to do fine if he was treated correctly and rested for a while, he was out of danger for now; good thing to know, now to tell the girl…
“Ho-” She was already leaving to his room; well then, I had to wait a little bit longer to get my revenge; my only problem was what the hell was I going to do in order to distract myself for who knows how long time??? As coming from hell the answer for my problems appeared in the form of a little group of nurses.
“Excuse us sir…it is true that you are a gijinka?” I stared at them
“No, I simply love to put Glaceon tail and ears just for fun” hopefully they got the comment and I wasn’t too rude.
“Oh sir you are so funny!!” They began laughing and at first their voices were not bothering me but after hearing them for a long time, who wouldn’t become crazy?
“You can call me Gil…Sir sounds too formal, I think…” who knew that would be my worst mistake for the day?
In short, they were five little demons who followed me around the hospital and were like fascinated with me…I mean, it was fine if other gjinka females felt for me but the whole situation with humans was kind of new for me…guess it was the same? Either way I was lucky enough for being discovered by the chief of the nurses who turned to be a serious woman that took the little group away.
“Talk to you later!!!” they all say; so later was later and that bought me some time to do… exactly what? I returned to the waiting room, got me a couch and passed the next hours watching a really bad marathon of a drama show; I stood up few times to the machine next to the room and bought me something to eat and drink; hospital’s food was always insipid and for sick people; however keeping myself by machine food was not healthy either; there was no point in being picky but, something Japanese would be really good.
So, the drama show finished and made me noticed something…First, I actually paid attention to it and second, because of it, I realized that probably, what Hoom needed at the moment was her brother, not me; I was only a stranger right? If my memory didn’t fail, there was a little card on my room with emergency numbers…with the mansion’s number to be more specific, at first it made me feel like a hotel or something but the number was what I needed at the moment so who cared about it?
There was a phone at the exit of the hospital and so I called the mansion; guess who answered? Yes, Hon; good timing I guess, if someone else answered, they wouldn’t know me or I had to explain the whole situation… At the end I told Hon the situation in few words and for what you could tell he was already coming right away so nothing to worry in that aspect because to tell you the truth, as soon as I walked through a corridor, there they were, staring at me and smiling and laughing again, maybe just keeping on walking would fix the problem….???
“Gil!! Would you come here for a second?” No…that wasn’t going to work
“What do you need me for Ladies?” Trying to be polite wouldn’t cost me anything right?
“Well…we were wondering if you could give us your number…” Hmm what about giving them the one from the mansion? That would work!
“Of course why not?”
“Don’t you have a cellphone?”
“I’m sorry ladies but currently I’m living in a place along some friends so no, I don’t have a cellphone; however whenever you want to come, there are some gijinkas I think you might like…” a fake smile and maybe they would believe it.
“Oh, that’s great but we are only interested in you right now; that Luxray was interesting too until we find out he already had a girlfriend”
Oh dear…. The situation was getting uncomfortable; I hated this type of women, but right now they hadn’t do anything too bad for me to really hate them. My eyes looked around for a possible distraction and only found out a couple of medicaments with the room where Lux was attached to them…Lucky!
“Who are those for?”
“The room of your friend Gil~” I tried to ignore the fact they were already calling my name with a strange tone and continued
“Then can I help you with your work and take those to him?”
“Aww you are such a gentleman” Oh yeah, if you only knew I’m using this as an excuse to get away from you….jaane!
“Hoom…. The nurses are stalking me…. I bought some time by telling them I was going to bring Lux’s medicaments… Please make him take everything or else those crazy women will stalk me until death…” I said as I entered the room, and then sighed because it felt safe at that place; I placed the medicaments on the table and remembered that it was my perfect chance.
“Oh, by the way Lux, how are you feeling?”
“Im fine…..Thanks…” Yeah sure…
“Cool!.. Then…” I punched him on the head; he had pissed me off but using all my strength on that punch would have killed him and so Hoom would kill me and that’s not what we wanted to happen; right now I conformed myself with it “That was for attacking me without reason, insulting me and making Hoom cry…” I stared at him “See you then…” Hoom was telling me something but I ignored her because it was probably something like “why did you hit him” or maybe not? Well she did gave me permission to hit him; oh well the whole punch made my day brighter…some hours specifically.
As soon as the door of the room was opened, the group appeared in front of me again.
“Guess what?” One of them said
“We just finished our turn so we are free for the rest of the afternoon”
“c-cool…” What did you just say Gil? You have just dug your own grave; before their true intentions showed up I said something that brought me a little more of time.“You see..I just did something wrong to Lux and I need to talk to his doctor…see you later” Lucky me humans were not as fast as gijinkas; I lost them in a corner and locked myself in the men’s bathroom for some time. Well the thing is that I too had to be alert because who knows, knowing Lux he would want to punch me as soon as he was recovered and maybe because of that same reason he was going to recover soon?
Gil, this hospital is making you crazy…Just look at yourself, locked in a bathroom escaping from nurses…I’m sure you can handle it, there had been worst scandalous females after you.
I took a deep breath and finally exited the bathroom finding out the group was not around; it was already kind of late too so I thought about checking out for Hoom; however just as soon as I’m about to enter the room Hon arrives and tells me I can go to rest??? I jaw dropped in my mind but he was right so I left.
“Gil!!!!” then they surrounded me not so far away from the room.
“Oh Gil, you are so handsome….and we are pretty sure you do have a cell phone so would you give the number to us?” Next thing I feel are hands in my butt and my chest; cool what else could become wrong?
“Well, the thing is that….” The touching was ticking me off “Ladies, I appreciate your attention and everything, but could you stop touching me everywhere?” Maybe using a smile, would back them off? It worked momentarily and then they began to touch me again; now I truly wanted to use a blizzard and freeze them out but if that was done, they would expel us from the hospital and that was no good for Lux…This was all Hoom’s fault! Ok not really, I was the one who decided to stay with her…This all stalking was pissing me off again.
The situation got even worst when they began to ask if I could date them and began to pull me in different directions; just when I thought the only way to take them away from me was an attack someone felt on me.
"What the...? Raine? What are you doing here...?" Really, why did people keep in appearing randomly! I stared at Raine.
"Who is she?! Where did she come from all of a sudden?" then there was a click on my mind; sorry raine but you appeared in a very good time indeed.
"Ah, I'm sorry ladies but she's with me. So could you give us some alone time?" I said as I pulled Raine closer to me.
And guess what? They believed it! Finally they had left me alone, and as long as Raine stayed at the hospital they were not going to bother me.
"U-um.... G-Gil...?"
"Yes?" I smiled at her, because I truly was happy.
"C-Could you let me go...?"
"I'm sorry, here..." I released them noticing she was feeling pretty uncomfortable; we sat down and before asking the reason for her to be there I had to thank her, explaining my behavior towards her.
"I have to thank you. You bailed me out of a very uncomfortable and irritating situation. Not meaning to be rude, but why are you here, though?"
"U-um... I didn't mean to come h-here... I was just... Um...I needed some fresh air, but I wasn't p-paying attention and used Teleport without focusing... Um... b-but I told Lupe... that Lux ran off and you were trying to talk him into c-coming back..."
"Fresh air? Are you alright?" It was a strange reason after all…
"I-I don't know... I'm very confused..." Now she seemed more confused than before; I stopped asking questions.
"Hm... Well, thank you, Raine, you did as I asked, so don't feel sad. I'll stay here with you for a while in case you need anything. And if you feel sick, we're in a hospital, so someone can always help you." I stroked her hair and smiled because she still was confused.
"So... H-How is Lux-san...?"
"He's going to be okay. He's pretty messed up, but he seems like he's recovering quickly."
"Oh... th-that good to hear..." Next thing I know is Raine is fainting?
“Raine?!” No, it was not fainting, she simply felt asleep in my shoulder…This girl was unpredictable but she looked cute while she slept so I tried not to move and let her rest. At some point I only stared at the clock and the wall; I wasn’t sleepy at all…
“Gil?....Raine?” It was Hoom looking at me with a confused face, probably for Raine.
“She teleported here by accident and then felt asleep…”
“Are you not uncomfortable in that position? We could ask the nurses for a bed or something for her…”
“It’s fine…besides if they don’t see me with her they will return” I said suddenly panicked just to hear Hoom laughing.
“The nurses right? Ok then I’ll be back in a second” She left leaving me thinking that the group of nurses had truly affected me…
“This is for you” Hoom had returned and handed me something fresh to drink “I’m sorry you have to pass through this…By the way, were you the one who called Hon?” there was something strange in her expression.
“Thank you and Yes. Didn’t you want to be with him? He is your brother after all….” She chuckled
“That’s not what I meant; having Hon here is great…he worries too much sometimes though…Anyway what I wanted to say is that if you felt like if having you here wasn’t enough then you were wrong…I already trust you a lot” She messed my hair in a soft way and smiled making me smile at her too.
“Let me know if you want anything to eat ok? I’ll leave the door open for now” She headed to Lux’s room after that. Hoom was a kind girl.
A slight movement in my shoulder made me notice Raine was waking up.
“Umm, did you rest well?” I asked.
