“Festival? I think I haven’t heard about it” The Roselia woman mused.
“There’s going to be a festival really soon and it appears we can assist to it” Kiki told her.
“Then, if I’m not wrong you are at the town for the same purpose?”
Kiki answered with a nod and a smile
“Kiki, would you mind if I join your festival shopping? Since you mentioned it, I’d really like to go.”
“I don’t mind, besides having others opinion will help” Kiki said smiling again.
Now with her new shopping buddy Roselyn they tour around the town. They went to a kimono shop. After a good time of shopping Kiki said to Roselyn, "Since we're done how about we stop at a cafe for a drink. What do you think?"
Roselyn didn't reply to her question. Kiki looked at her and saw something was wrong. Her face had become red and it looked like she was ill.
“Roselyn?” Kiki said. Roselyn looked at her. “Are you feeling fine? Because your face is kind of red….”
“Oh, really?” Roselyn said taking out a small mirror and looking at her reflection. “I think all these shopping agitated me, I’m fine Kiki, but thanks for asking”
Kiki nodded but knew Roselyn was lying and faking she was fine.
They began walking to a cafe near by. It wasn't long when Roselyn started to wobble. Kiki held Rosleyn's arm before she fell into a puddle. "Be careful!"
Roselyn blinked and looked at Kiki,“I think I might be a little too tired, that is all Kiki; thank you for not letting me fall”
“You are not feeling fine right? Let me see if I can use my healing wave in you” Kiki said and before Roselyn could say anything Kiki used Healing Wave. She wasn't sure if Healing Wave worked against illness but she hoped it might help Roselyn feel better. After the glowing light from Kiki's hand fade away Roselyn said, “Thank you Kiki, I think I just need to rest as soon as we arrive to the mansion”
Kiki knew Roselyn was faking it again but Kiki smiled since Roselyn was doing it out of kindness. “Glad I could help!”
Kiki and Roselyn return to the mansion. She could heard a lot of noises going on the building. It sounded like people were cleaning or working. Kiki and Roselyn began to ascend the stairs then Kiki heard a thumb and saw Roselyn sprawled on the floor. "Roselyn!!" Kiki dropped her bags and bent down next to Roselyn. She tried to shake her awake but didn't get much of a response. "HELP!!" Kiki screamed. "Someone help!"
Several Gijinka came running; an Arcanine, an Espeon (that Kiki remember lived in the mansion) ran up the stairs towards Kiki and the unconscious Roselyn.
"What happened?" The Epseon girl asked. Kiki remembered vaguely her name is Estelle.
"She fainted. I think she's sick." Kiki said. She watched the Arcanine place his hand over Roselyn's forehand.
"She has a very bad fever." He said with concern.
Estelle also felt Roselyn's forehead. "I don't think its serious. But she needs bed rest and medicine. Arc would you please carry Roselyn."
"No problem," The Arcanine Arc said picking up Roselyn gently and carried her bridal style.
When they were in her room the Arc put Roselyn on her bed. Kiki closed the curtains as it was still sun light out. Estelle place the wet towel over Roselyn's forehead.
"Someone should stay by Roselyn in case something happens." Estelle suggested.
"I'll do it." The Arcanine said. He seemed quiet concern for Roselyn.
"Oh do you know her?"
"Yes she was the one you told me about this place. I'll stay beside her until she wakes up." Arc said.
Estelle nodded, "Okay then." She and Kiki left the Roselyn's room.
"Wow your like a big sister," Kiki said when they were in the hallway.
"Well I'm a sister heehee. Me and Lupe-chan are sisters didn't you know."
"Really?" Kiki said surprised. "But...you don't look related."
"Oh we're not related. But she's the closet thing to a sister I ever had." Estelle said smiling.
Kiki couldn't help but think about her own sister back home but quickly pushed away the thought. "So whats going on in the mansion? Sounds like people are working." Kiki said.
"Lupe has us clean up the mansion. Its a real mess after the attacks and the fights. I think Lupe hired a maid but it seems like to big of a job for just one person."
"She's making you guys do all the work?" quested Kiki. "Who does she think she is? Queen of this castle?"
"She is the leader," Estelle reminded her.
"Oh right..." Kiki muttered. "...I don't have to help out do I?...I mean not right now I just got done shopping and..." Kiki paused. "Oh no! I forgot about my stuff!" Kiki ran past Estelle and became a white and green blur streak flying down the hallways.
Kiki stopped when she heard someone someone yelling. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS????!!! WHO THE HELL LEFT SHOPPING BAGS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STAIRS???!!!"
Kiki gulped and peered around the corner and saw the leader Lupe standing on top of the stairs where Kiki and Roselyn's shopping bags with their purchases were left. "IF NOW ONE CLAIMS THESE I'M KEEPING THEM BUT IF I DON'T LIKE THEM I'M THROWING THEM INTO THE FIREPLACE!!!"
"WAIT!!" Kiki cried jumping out of hiding and standing in front of Lupe. "Those are mine and Roselyn's."
"Uh huh," Lupe said putting her hands on her hips and glaring on Kiki. "So you thought you would go out on a shopping spree while your fellow roommates work hard to clean up their home huh?"
I don't see you helping out to me your just barking orders, Kiki thought and prayed that the scary Lopunny didn't posses the power to read minds. "Sorry...I just wanted to buy kimonos."
"Kimonos? Why?"
"You know for the festival."
Lupe blinked then sort of slap the side of her head. "Oh right! The stupid festival...okay than pick up that stuff and put it out of the way." Ordered Lupe.
"Right," Kiki hurried over and pick up hers and Roselyn's stuff. They were a lot of bags for one person to carry but Kiki managed to carry them with ease.
"After that I want you to help out with cleaning." Lupe said as Kiki walked away from the bags. Kiki stopped in her tracks when she heard the word cleaning.
"Um...," Kiki said looking over at Lupe forcing an awkward and tired smile. "I don't think I can help clean up. I'm really tired."
Lupe crossed her arms. "You don't seem tired to me."
"Yeah well I just pulled a muscle from carrying these bags..."
"Is that so? Don't worry I'm good at massaging. I'll have you feeling better in no time." Lupe said cracking her fingers and grinning slyly. "But my way is a bit painful at first."
"Actually its not bad. In fact it was nothing hahahaaha," Kiki said quickly and laughed nervously.
"Good now you better get to work. Slackers get kicked out of the mansion after one warning." Lupe said laughing heartily and she went down the stairs.
Kiki gulped. "Ahaha...that was joke right....right?!"
