TIME: Brunch, during when Xio passed out and Abbie and Tanner started fighting

“So where are you from?” Ava asked Kiki
“I’m from Alamos,” Kiki said. “Where are you from?”
“Fortree City.”
“Isn’t that the town where everyone lives in tree houses?”
“Yes,” Ava said. Ava seemed distracted by something. “Did you hear that?”
“Hear what?” Kiki asked as she opened the kitchen door and when she looked into the room she saw Xio fall to the floor.
“XIO!”
Kiki ran over to Xio’s side, “Xio! What’s wrong?” Kiki touched his cheek it felt hot; does he have a fever?
“Oh my,” Ava said standing behind Kiki. “Is he okay?”
“I don’t know,” Kiki said anxiously. She wasn’t sure what to do. Should she check his pulse or something? “Xio,” Kiki call his name again and saw his eyes were moving behind red eye lids. Was he trying to wake up?
“I’ll go find help,” Ava said quickly left the kitchen.
Kiki looked around frantic and grab a dish towel. She run the towel with cold water and gently cleaned Xio’s face. “Xio?” Xio blinked his eyes open and gingerly sat up. He stared at Kiki and appeared to be focusing his sight.
“…Kiki?”
“Oh thank god! You really scared me there,” Kiki sighed with relief. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” Xio rubbed his forehead and looked around. Kiki thought she saw a dark and irritated look in his eyes.
“Xio?” Kiki said and jump when she heard a crash. She sensed something was wrong, she felt an aura that was dark. It gave her chills.
“WHAT THE F**KIN’ HELL IS GOING ON?!!” Hollered Lupe’s voice somewhere in the mansion.
Ava hurried back in the kitchen she looked nervous, “I think there’s a fight outside,” Ava saw Xio. “Oh he’s up.”
Xio was on his feet quickly and appeared to be fine but Kiki saw something was bothering him. “I should see what’s going on.” Xio said.
“Are you okay sir?” Ava asked Xio
“I am fine but I don’t think I’ve met you before miss,” Xio said to Ava
“I’m Ava,” The Altaria introduced herself. “I just arrived last night.”
“Pleased to meet you Miss Ava I am Xio a Luxray,” Xio said in his gentlemanly fashion he took Ava’s hand and kissed it gently. Ava’s eyes widen in surprise and blush
Really why can’t all the guys be like Xio, Kiki thought dreamily. Some guys are either stupid jerks…or down right evil.
“I’ll go see what’s going on,” Xio said walking out of the kitchen.
“I hope every thing’s okay,” Kiki said. She looks at Ava, “Maybe we should see what happened?”
Kiki left the kitchen with Ava. Kiki looked around and didn’t see Xio anywhere. “You said that the fight was outside right.”
Ava nodded, “I think so, but I didn’t see it.”
They went outside and saw a couple of the Gijinkas of the mansion were gathered around. “What’s going on?” Kiki said standing among the Gijinkas. She couldn’t see if anyone was hurt.
“It seems the fight is over,”
Kiki looked beside her and saw Xio.
“Is anyone hurt?”
“From what I saw it’s not serious.”
“What happened?”
“It appears that Aberius the Absol and Tanner the Tangrowth got into a fight. I have no idea why. Do you know them?”
“I’ve met them,” Kiki said. She looked back at the crowd with concern.
“Okay people shows over!” Lupe’s voice rang out. “Somebody pick up a broom and clean up this mess!”
“WHAT??” Some yelled and complained
“Oh great more cleaning,” Kiki sighed. An idea came to her she turned to Xio and said. “Hey Xio do you have a kimono or something to wear for the festival?”
“No I do not have a kimono. I had thought about going into town to shop. Would you like to accompany me Kiki?” Xio asked her.
“I would love too!” Kiki said beaming. “But first I was going to make myself brunch.”
“Then I will join you if you don’t mind,”
“Not at all,” Kiki wrapped her arms around Xio’s strong right arm and they walked back inside the mansion.
Back in the kitchen Kiki started to gather ingredients while Xio and Ava started talking.
Hmm, Kiki thought, placing a mixing bowl in front of her. I’m not that experience with cooking. Sis was the one that cooked for some reason she rarely let me cook myself.
She looked over her shoulder and asked, “What would you like Xio?”

And that’s about it. I stop right there because I don’t know what Xio would ask for probably meat.
