Dark Tanner
I loved the excitement, the blood, the dark energy swirling around both of Aberius and I. How sad a mere Gijinka could be put into such a situation as this but then again... What am I really? Just another form in Tanner's mind, another personality? Yes, but I was much more defined. Not just another personality. I was just insane, incapable of being sane ever again.
Blood's a fine thing to play with, drink. How could it not be? I loved the taste of the beast's dark blood, the swirls of dark energy and original Absol blood, but also a legendary's entwined. If I had to describe the taste, it would be ice cream... but made of blood and everything else you liked on top of it. Delicious.
The wind picked up as I stared into the disgusting, red eyes of the horrible beasty and he stared back. I waited for the next move, but with how much blood I wanted, I couldn't tell the different smells around me in the forest. I wanted more blood... I wanted Tan-Tan not to wake up, let me be in control, but what can fate control with him?
Aberius lunged at me with a Quick Attack and my guard was thrown off some, I not realizing that he had used a Leer, and whipped his tail against my face, maybe breaking a tooth or two. I couldn't tell. Pain wasn't really in me now. If it happened, it happened. He smashed me into a tree, the tree cracking and breaking behind me, sinking in on itself. I folded backwards just as I hit and made myself fall onto the ground, blood spitting out of my mouth. Counter attack, counter attack. How fun that will be!!
“LEAF STORM!” I shouted and almost immediately, everything took up from the ground and was thrust at him but Aberius used Razor Wind to discharge my attack. Normally, it would've gotten through, but I was getting weaker. Less senseless to where I wouldn't really pay attention to what was going on around me. And I couldn't care less. Poor Tan-Tan. He would have to deal with all the pain later...
I moved, taking my distance with Aberius as the debris cleared and he looked around for me and found me easily, used Pursuit which I wasn't expecting to catch up with me, and once he hit, I used my hair to steady me and thrust them at him, but I didn't realize it was just a copy that he had made with Double Team. I knew that I couldn't really tell the difference now so I just thrust my hair at each figure until I finally got the actual Aberius but I did was grin and pull him in so that I could get more blood.
I wasn't expecting him to bite my hair, which made me flinch because of the slight pain, and he yanked, ripping the dreadlocks slightly, half of it gone, and with that, I flew at him because of how powerful the pull was.
Once I was close enough, I wasn't even able to avoid the Slash going across my chest, blood slowly spilling out. I knew nothing was healing now. The serum was all used up in the blood system of my body.
But I still didn't feel the pain as I laid on the ground, unable to move as blood poured out, laughing and smiling. Aberius came over me and started to lick up the blood, but he got annoying with him be on me so I thrust my hair at him again, but instead, he formed a great amount of energy into his claws and thrust it into my stomach, which was more pain than I had expected and blood rose automatically and I spat in Aberius's face, not really paying attention now as blood gushed out of my system from my mouth and stomach.
Pain coursed through me as Aberius was about to use his final blow to finish me off, which I couldn't really care less because if it was my life, than it would be fine, along with Tan-Tan's. Let it be.
But he didn't use his final blow. Instead, he went after another smell and I laid there... I could feel Tan-Tan waking up so I decided to give myself a rest, let him take over... Everything dwindled into darkness, swirling like darkness within me...

Tanner, Around 11:45 the Next Morning, Still Out in the Forest
All I could really remember was talking to my other side before I passed out, unable to see what happened to me as he fought for me, using my body. I had nightmares of Shift and what had happened back in the laboratory... The serum he gave me every few weeks because I couldn't live without it with how much I kept damaging myself and how those damn Rocket scientists kept damaging me. That serum... Would I be able to heal completely if I had wounds after this fight? Would there be enough in my blood system to take control and heal? Maybe a little...
I stirred as the sunlight hit my eyes and pain coursed through me through my chest and stomach, the pain unbearable. Blood poured from my mouth, my teeth drenched in blood, and I couldn't help but yell out from how much pain I was in. My other side, I knew, was being completely quiet, probably sleeping. He wasn't going to let me know anything would he, except for that I fought that beast side of Aberius?
I heard voices speak not far off as I held myself as I rolled to my right side and then footsteps hurrying to where I was.
"Tanner?" I heard a voice say, it being familiar... Was it Fresia? I'm pretty sure it was....
"How can be sure it was Tanner that yelled out? It could've been anybody that dealed with that Aberius guy last night." I heard another voice speak, it sounding like Shola.
I gasped in pain as I tried to speak out, tell them it was me, but all I let out was a small yell.
"I am pretty sure that was Tanner this time, Shola," Fresia said as they hurried through the trees and came by me, both of them coming to my side. How pathetic was I? Letting two girls come to my aid... God, I'm pathetic...
"What happened to you, Tanner? Run in with Aberius?" Shola asked and I gave a very weak smile. She knew that was a yes as I coughed up more blood and Shola and Fresia both helped me up and carefully helped me up so that they could help me walk. My legs felt like lead as I dragged them along.
"These injuries are very bad, Tanner. We need to get you to the infirmary," Fresia said but as we got into the mansion and over to where Zaishi, I think was his name, would normally be, he wasn't there in his room at all. Damn it... I was starting to lose vision as we got up onto the second floor and Fresia said about there being possibly bandages in her room and asking Shola to help me to my room, but instead, just as Fresia ran off, we ran into another girl, I think an Espeon.
"Oh my! What happened here? We need to get you to Zaishi," she said and Shola shook her head.
"He's not there. We were going to take Tanner to his room. Want to help?" Shola asked in a strained voice and the girl nodded automatically and once we got to the boys side of the hallway, we passed by Aberius's room, which the door was wide open and I was able to see a glance of him. He had bandages all over him but seemed way more healed than I was. He wasn't a monster either anymore...
He glanced up and saw me and so did the Ralts girl but I wasn't able to see their reaction as the Espeon and Shola helped me to my room and laid me down on the bed carefully and Fresia came running in with bandages and I helped as best as I could to take off my ripped shirt so that they could get to the wounds. How silly... a bunch of girls fretting over me because I was injured. Men were supposed to be stronger and I felt weaker than anybody here.
They cleaned the blood off that was spilling out and quickly cleaned the wound, which I groaned by them doing, and then wrapped up the wound, they talking amongst each other and telling each other who they were and what Gijinka they were. Simple girls... but really pretty too... especially the Espeon...
Once I was able to catch my breath and blood stopped pouring out of my mouth, I felt myself slowly drifting away into sleep as I spoke.
"Thank you... Sorry about being pathetic enough to not even be able to help you beautiful girls with myself..." I chuckled lightly, my eyes slowly closing.
"Tanner, you idiot. You think you're pathetic? You were able to last through the whole night with these wounds. That's not pathetic," Shola blushed lightly as she spoke harshly towards me and I chuckled.
"Thanks, anyways... What's your name?" I asked lightly towards the Espeon and she blushed.
"It's Estelle. It's very nice to meet you, Tanner," Estelle said with a small smile and I smiled back.
"It's nice to meet you... Hopefully, I'll remember your name because I'm not the best with remembering," I chuckled lightly and drifted off into sleep.
Why did I have a feeling these three would just stay until I woke up? In personal opinion, I wouldn't mind. They were all nice enough to help out somebody weak like I was...
