HAHA I had no idea what to call this so yeah thats my random title:
Included: Lux, Shupple, and mentions of Shift and Xio.

That damn bastard thought he was more powerful and the way he acted reminded me of Xio, though Xio was far worse then this wanna be. Actually, the way he spoke about Shupple was like a toy and how he loved her enough that he would destroy her, I pondered on his narcissist ideals. Xio on the other hand cared neither way for love or emotions since what happened to Lydia that night. I am not aware of all the details but from what I do remember about him, he was most protective of her. Once she was taken away from him, his emotions were gone. It was sort of the same with this Shift character, however, Shift was arrogant and crazy where Xio was cunning and evil. The two were similar and yet so different at the same time. Though years have changed and I have yet to know more of Xio, I know very well that he won’t go into a fight blinded. He wants it to be fair and fun and enjoy his bloodshed, where as Shift, he could careless about the rules.
I sat at the bar listening to Shupple play, which was very beautiful sicne I had never seen this side of her but Shift’s comments of not knowing her was eating at me from the inside. Who do you think she is….it kept on my mind.
I waved for the bartender to come my way since I desired to order something, “What can I get you?” The Milktank bartender asked washing her glasses.
“Yeah can I have a Bonk's Bacardi and Coke please.” Handing her some money. I realized it was a bit early in the day for a drink and I was with Shupple but my hairs and nerves were on end. Hell this entire new look for me made me uncomfortable since I wasn’t used to it.
She nodded and came back within a few moments, and as I took that first sip the taste of alcohol down my throat quickly relaxed me. It was a mixture of Coca-cola, vodka, Bacardi Limon, and Bacardi Spice Rum which was a sweet and delicious taste. I haven’t had any drinks since before I even came to this place so having one was nice treat for me, though I doubt the doctor would be happy. Ahh screw him, today is Lux’s day.
I slowly fidgeted with my glass turning it in a circle and watching the liquid spin. I was thinking about Shift and what he might have planned since he did mention that I was his first target. This was what I intended and he did fall for the bait, now I just have to make it a bit more realistic since I am very much aware he will be keeping a closer eye on her.
Her piano playing was so enchanting and it slowly came to an end. I watched her from the bar and she let out a small sigh and got up, but that was when the entire room gave her a loud applause and cheers. It’s funny actually, I smiled a cocky smile as I saw her blush so much from the love and praise she was getting from random gijinkas. She gave a small bow and curtsy and began to walk away but was stopped by the piano man who played before her. She looked at him a bit scared but he only offered her a small purple rose and she graciously took it.
As she approached me, many other patted her on the shoulder and told he did great. I could tell in her face she wasn’t used to this type of attention and I was honestly very proud of her.
I continued to sip on my drink as she came close and stood in front of me. “Sorry I just couldn’t resist playing Lux. What did you think?”
“Honestly, I can’t think because the way you play felt like Mozart himself was in the building once again. Your fingers danced among the keys with such ease that you had everything under your control when you played.” I took a small drink from my glass. “You were simply amazing Shupple.” I leaned over and took the flower out of her hand and placed it into her hair. Giving her a small kiss on the forehead, she only smiled and blushed turning her gaze the other way.
She sat next to me facing the bar as I faced the piano to watch the man begin playing once again. “This was the first time I played in a long time.” She muttered as she began to recall something, I only drank and listen to her. “I really wanted to play for you because Shift had loved when I played.”
I wanted to spit out my drink right there on that spot from that comment, man does irony really have its moments when it shows up. I chuckled and she gave me a strange face because she knew nothing of him being here moments ago.
“By the way Lux, what are you drinking?” She asked lifting an eyebrow.
Getting up and pointing at a booth, “Ahh finally one has opened up, lets have a seat okay ghosty?”
We both walked over and sat down. The waitress took our orders, I had this hellcat burger which was bbq sauce, 2 lbs of beef, bacon strips, lettuce, onions, and French fries all together. Damn that sounded tasty. Shupple, well she decided to order an Asian salad, she said something about watching her weight but whatever. The waitress came back with a pink lemonade for Shupple as well since she wanted something sweet to drink.
“That looks good, but funny since you hate the color pink.” I pointed out with a smirk as I began to spin my glass in my hand again.
“Just because I don’t like the color pink on me doesn’t mean I don’t like pink lemonade. There is a big difference.” She took a sip and gave a small big cheek look as she enjoyed her first sweet thing in awhile. “But what are you drinking? It looks like a coke.”
“It’s a Bonk’s Bacardi and Coke so you were half right.” I explain taking another sip.
“You’re drinking? But, you are..” Quickly I put my finger to her lip.
“Sssh, let me enjoy this okay? Besides I am only having one. I have no plans on getting plastered…” I grinned, “That’s tomorrow night!”
She shook her head but laughed at me as I joined in. “You know Lux, you should really wear your hair down.”
“My hair down?” This was something I did when I was a child and was made fun of, why was she saying this now. “Having it up seems more preferable to me actually.”
“Yeah but you wanted to try something new, and like I did, with cutting my bangs, I think you should wear your hair done.” Leaned over the table and gently held my head in her hands.
“Shupple please stop, what do you think you are doing?” I felt her hands began to brush my hair down. In an instant I felt the same way I did when I saw my mother in the afterlife, and it was a bit uncomfortable. Other gijinkas were looking at us strangely but why did I let her do it. “Please Shupple, I’ll look stupid.”
“You aren’t stopping me…” She smiled as she finished up. “But you are missing something…your glasses Lux.” Her finger was pointing right at my pocket on my jacket. “You should really be wearing them since I can tell you are squinting when you look at things from a far distance.”
Damn so even as minute as I tried to keep it hidden, she still picked that up on her radar. “Fine…but don’t laugh…” I looked at the glasses then shook my head and put them down on the table. Shupple quickly snatched them up and opened them. I mean Cedric did say they look good and very cool but I was still so unsure. Here I was a grown man reverting back into that damn nerd again from my childhood. Being able to actually elaborate more with my vocabulary was fine and it seemed I wasn’t judged as bad as I thought but once she saw me like this, I could feel the worse was yet to come.
She slowly put the glasses on my face as I closed my eyes. I heard her lean back and gasp. Opening my eyes too look at her, she looked dumbfounded. I hated that look. “Please just get it out of your system Shupple…I know you want to laugh I bet…” I turned my head to the other way.
Quickly she leaned over the table and kissed my cheek and hugged me as best she could. “No silly! You really are a dumb blue kitty, you look like an entire new person. You look so handsome and I am just stunned is all.”
Her embrace made me blush as I turned to her. She was smiling but for some odd reason my hand was on her cheek and I gently kissed her cheek as well in thanks. I wanted to cry but not in front of her. Those words just really made me feel really happy.
Our meal came and the waitress even blushed and for some odd reason asked if she could have my phone number. Regrettable I don’t have a phone at the moment so I politely declined but gave her an email anyway. Shupple and I talked about some of the early things such as shopping and such. I had mentioned to her I wanted to buy something for Cedric and she agreed so we planned on heading to the nearest toy store afterwards. We were laughing and eating at the same time and I was enjoying my date.
I felt a slight glare hit me, and as I still carried this fake smile, I could feel the anger building from Shift as I stayed with Shupple. Regardless I wasn’t going to let him bring me down. I was happy now.
“Shupple I want to ask you something a bit more serious now dear okay?” I said eating a couple of my French fries. She nodded chewing on some of the tangerines in her salad. “Shupple, I want you to tell me who you are?”
“Pfft, Lux that’s a silly question you already know the answer.” She exclaimed.
“No it’s not, I can tell you are hiding things from me and things you haven’t told me. Before I open up more about my past since you already have seen a great big chunk, tell me what happened as a child and tell me who you really are….?”

Okay a shorter post but it’s leading into something for Shupple and Lux. I now declare the relationship between Shupple and Lux which will now be known as Lupple. XD
