“You know…I didn’t think I can be with a guy like you.” Kiki sighed as she looked at me.
“Why’s that?” I questioned.
“You’re amazing, strong, and very handsome. And you’re a little older than me…” She paused. “To me it’s too good to be true.”
I looked at her without saying a word. So is that what she thought? Oddly, I can’t say that I’m attracted to her the way she is to me; however, I am interested in her because of the so many similarities between her and Lydia. At least I can get myself out of this one in a breeze.
Brushing my hair through my bangs, "So why not except that it is true already?" I walked up to her and hovered over her a bit, "You and I are going together to the festival and that's that." I poked her nose and winked. “Now if you excuse me, let me clean up a bit before we leave.”
She nodded and I left her in the kitchen to clean up the little mess that was still left behind. Heading upstairs into the guy’s quarter, I figured this was my chance to find my room, I noticed one of the room’s open. As I stood in the doorframe I saw a Meowth kid sleeping topless on his bed, sound asleep. Stupid kid leaving the door open, I guess I could shut it, which I did.
At the end of the hallway across a familiar scent caught me, and the door luminated with something oh so familiar. This obviously was my room, so without much hesitation I opened it. It was actually very familiar but very dark, the way I liked it. The bed was a king-size built like those for royal family with four large polls holding up a cover about the bed that went up to the ceiling. There was a private bar in the room with many alcoholic beverages, my favorite. A fancy dresser and some red and black coaches with fancy coach to sit on. The curtains on the window were black and blue as well. It was a bit showy for me but then again, not too bad if you ask me. There even hung a chandelier from the ceiling. It reminded me of a fancier version of my bedroom; actually it was more of less like my father’s when he was the king of our village. Technically he wasn’t the king, but he was head of our clan. I admit I was impressed as I shut the door behind me.
Either way, I tossed my jacket onto the bed and took everything else off to make a quick shower happen. Precisely what I did, and as the water hit my flesh, some of these new scratches stung. Not sure what caused them when Aberius transformed, but surely it wasn’t normal. Nevertheless, I had my own healing on my side. It wasn’t long before I got half dressed and walked over to the bar, for some odd reason something was telling me today was going to be a long day.
As I opened the bar table I noticed this bottle full of a red fluid, suddenly I dropped it as my hand shook. Some of those tattoos ran up my arm but I forced them back with my own power. I see, so that was ordinary drink but it was blood, the scent of it was of a Lucario blood. Since we were born enemies since I am a lion and the mutt on two legs, it was surely a drink I could bare. I took the top of the cork off with my teeth and spit it to the side. I began to drink from the bottle.
The quick rush of blood that I drank was soothing and tasted great; feeding that inner desire I had for blood. My eyes were beaming with delight as I swallowed my first gulp and continued to drink to my hearts content, but I was rudely disturbed as I saw my door open behind me. Whipping my lips I turned to see that same little Meowth staring at me.
“Need something?” I asked him a bit upset as he disrupted me from something I was enjoying.
“I thought you were Lux but, I was wrong…” He turned his head to the side a bit embarrassed.
“Well you guess wrong kiddo.” I muttered as I picked up the cork and but the bottle away. Another time, it was good enough for me I suppose. The taste still lingered on my lips, which was all right for me.
“I might be wrong, but I can tell you are just as strong as Lux.” He smiled as his tail went from the side. “AND I need to be a strong cat too nya.” He giggled.
“Strong cat?! Lux, I suppose.” I mumbled as I rubbed my chin. He watched as I looked for a top. “But if you have come to me, you have come to the right person kid.” I smirked.
“Oh I know, and I want you to be my trainer nya.” He smiled.
“Eh? Sorry kid, but I don’t do any special requests. Damn it where are all my shirts?”
“I took them!” He laughed putting his hands behind his head as he smiled like a sly cat.
I glared at him, “You did what?” This smartass kid half-pint was asking for it. I walked over to him who quickly ran off into the hallway. “So where are they kid?”
“I put them in Lux’s room, and to prove I am worthy to you!” He ran to Lux’s door and waited as I too followed him with a sigh, tucking my hands in my pocket. “Hurry hurry, I want to be stronger so I don’t have to listen to Lupe and stand up to her and…and….I want to abs like yours!” He pointed out.
“HAHAHAHAHAHA!” I belted out, “So that’s your reason? Hmm alright if you can open this door without knocking it down then sure I will train you kid.” I grinned.
“WAIT I wanted to show you how powerful I am with knocking down the door because it locked behind me!” He groveled. “Nya! What am I suppose to do now?”
I shook my head and extended one of my hands with the other crossed my hip and showed my claws to him. I wanted to see how smart he was and how his technique could be used.
His face of awe went to a smile as he used a furry swipe and lifted his right hand to the doorknob and began to tinker with it until a few seconds later he swung the door open and crossed his arms in self-pride. “Nya!!!!” I snorted.
I entered and grabbed a long sleeve top and put it on. “Nice going kid. Alright I will train you later on.” I chuckled as I rubbed his head. “Impressive!”
“Yea? Then I will see you later Xio!” He gloated as he ran to his room, “Okay will see you later then!” He returned into his room after doing a heel kick with himself out of excitement.
I chuckled and decided to leave my stuff in the room, yeah too damn lazy to move it anyway. So returning to my room to close the door I headed back to the main entry to see if Kiki was there. She wasn’t so I decided to wait for her.
After about 5 minutes, I saw her at the top of the steps running with her purse. “SORRY TO BE LATE!!!” She huffed, “Hope… you… weren’t….waiting….long…”
“Nope not at all dear.” She looked me up and down a bit confused. “What’s wrong?”
“I just haven’t seen you in something that covers your chest.” She giggled.
Rolling my eyes, “You saw my jacket was torn so I need something new. So let’s get going okay?”
“YES!” She cheered as I extended my arm and she latched on. And we exited the mansion.
As we walked through the forest we had some small talk as she talked about things that reminded her about her village and her family. I nodded and smiled not really paying that much attention but I only listened. I was sort of bored.
Within no time we were in the city and as she danced along the curbs and twirl around light posts, she was very happy and I couldn’t help but smile.
She climbed up a few boxes and did a jump twirling in the air but I came up and caught her and wrapped her around me and held her. I brushed my nose against her and smiled but the crowd around us clapped. I grabbed her hand and rushed out of there a bit embarrassed.
“So let’s go shopping okay sweetheart?” I kissed her cheek.
“Of course, I am excited to see what you get!” She smiled and as we began to head to the mall but that’s when an unexpected a voice called.
“KIKI!”
Kiki and I stopped in our tracks. Kiki turned slowly as her eyes seemed a bit freighted. Odd, so when I turned I saw a young woman, a Gardevoir, and a young boy a Ralts standing hand in hand. I only watched as Kiki went from alarm and ran to hug the young woman who welcomed the embrace. The young boy too joined the hug.
As I stood there, I figured this must have been her brother and sister she has mentioned many times. What a drag.
“Xio, please come here!” Kiki asked waving me over and I obliged.
I smiled as she took a step to the side and meet her sister and brother, “This is my big sister Gaia and my little brother Rally.”
Extending my hand to the older sister first, since my presumption was right about them being her family, I smiled, “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you both since I have heard so many wonderful things about you both. I am Xio a dark Luxray.”
“Yes I can see that.” Gaia said bluntly.
“Excuse me?” My response was a bit confused as I lifted an eyebrow at her. She then began to walk and circle me around slowly like she was examining me.
“Gaia don’t do this again!” Rally sighed. “Kiki, she hasn’t changed sorry!”
“Oh no!” Kiki moaned, “Sister please!”
“Dark Luxray is right on the money, look at him.” What the hell woman? You want me to hurt you right now. “His headband, his piercing, his pants, and eyes. Everything about him screams badass or bad boy. He’s not right for you Kiki.”
“I beg your pardon miss, but that’s pretty rude of you to make up your sister’s mind.” I said turning to her with a fake smile.
“I know what’s best for her Xio.” Gaia replied crossing her arms on her chest. Great I got a mother complex right in front of me. F***ING DANDY!
“ You do now? Is that why you are single?” I smirked at her with a shrug.
“Xio!” Kiki said but I turned to the Ralts boy who was holding his lips shut to keep from laughing.
This Gaia character glared then turned that frown into a smile, “Well then, lets get some lunch since I haven’t seen you in forever and Xio, please do behave yourself.”
“Pfftt,” Whatever woman.
Kiki walked with Gaia like she was her servant or something as I stood there watching. That’s when I felt a tug at my pants.
“Sorry about sis, she’s always been protective like that. But come on let’s get something to eat.” He ran after his sisters as I stood there for a second longer.
All I wanted to do was rip that woman in half for her rudeness. That feature was never attractive to me nor would it ever be to a man. Regardless, I need to stay by Kiki, sadly I feel things are only going to escalate from here. I was already annoyed which was not a good sign for me.

Oh noes!!! Nyarth has a criminal record a head of him! He broke into another's room and stole clothes!!! >:3 Gaia doesn’t approve of Xio…not good not good!!! xD What shall happen? Who knows?!? Catch it next time in a new story of PGR!!! :D
