LULwut?...

OH MY BLAH A POST! Shocking? Sooooo sorry I've been lagging on this OTL I've had so much writer's block, so AGAIN sorry if this is the worst thing you've ever read ;___; I'll probably introduce Luca during or after the festival.

In this post- Arc, Lily, slight mentions of Shupple, Lux, and towards the end mentions of pimp Tanner with his three lady friends (jk jk on the pimp thing LOL)

Time: When Arc gets back to the mansion, then after Tanner, Estelle, Fresia, and Shola head out to the Kimono shop. I'm bad with time... OTL
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was still standing before the mess while everyone else went back into the mansion. I told Hoom that I would go inside later. Something happened here, that was for sure. Some battle that got out of control. So much blood, it was rather sickening. Just the thought of fighting was sickening- no, just stupid. But, even so, my bothering to think about it wad stupid in itself, so I didn't even bother going back into the mansion. I still had no room for myself (which was my own fault), but I figured that there would be too much going on for me to want to get involved with.

So I decided to take a walk.

I headed back into town to take my mind off things. I even contemplated on renting a hotelroom, but if Shupple didn't see me back at the mansion she would think I ran off on her again..

Why was it so hard? I don't even know what had gotten into me.. I kissed her! Shaking my head, I sighed heavily to myself. It wasn't like I didn't want to, but, hell, if I had known I was going to ask her out too! And now Shift... It seemed like a mess that I could've easily avoided had I not bumped into her in the first place. And, dammit, now I was just regretting things that I wanted to happen for a while now.

Alright, subject change. There was no point dwelling on the past. And then....oh the irony... The world really had a way with screwing with me.

"Nine!" I heard a sweet voice call. "Come and play, Nine!" No, I was just imagining things. I seemed to be doing that a lot more recently. And yet this time I felt as though I was being watched. People were walking past me, coming out of stores and restaurants. They walked right past me without a single glance, but that didn't matter. There was one person looking straight at me. Just a few meters away, sitting at the edge of a large, marble fountain, was Lily. She had already noticed me, boring her bright, cerulean eyes into my skull. I'm sure just by her sweet stare she engraved her initials into the very bones beneath my flesh. Or maybe I was just being paranoid. Maybe this wasn't even her. I really did over-think things way too much.

I could see her gracefully standing up, fixing a single strand of hair that managed to come out of place. I could see every single detail, and the strain began to take a toll on my eyes. I could never understand perfection, only that it was her, and that if perfection was an unreachable goal, then I knew she couldn't possibly exist, so why worry? I had to be crazy, psycho, bonkers, a lunatic maybe! There had to be something wrong with me to think that perfection didn't exist, and then see it a few meters away from me. It was terrifying..

I started to step away, and hope that I would run into Shupple, or anyone willing to grant me the privilede of small talk. All this stress was beginning to tire me out. My eye sight began to blurr, so I reached into my jacket to find my medication. The panic suddenly grew and the only thing I could remember next was waking up on soft, white bed sheets. The curtains in whatever room I was in were drawn, but a soft light found its way through them and towards me. I could see- to the right of me- a small, dark end table with an empty vial. I recognized it to be one of my medications. Someone had gone through my jacket to find it. As a matter of fact where was my jack- Oh, on the couch against the wall, under the window. Thankfully I was still dressed..

I wasn't sure why, but I actually felt calm and relaxed. More than I had in a while. Was it because of the stabilizers or the fact that someone was taking care of me? I didn't know, but once I heard the creak of the door opening, and a familiar someone walk in, I wasn't sure what to think.

"Lily...?" I said, my voice straining slightly as I tried to sit up. She was at my side in an instant, pushing me back down. She wore the same sweet smile she did when we were kids. It terrified me and at the same time calmed me down. Just the fact that she could form that kind of contradiction in me was too much to even think of comprehending. Or maybe I was just too tired to try and understand how she was able to do that.

"Hello, Nine" she smiled at me, gently stroking my hair. It was becoming more and more difficult to keep awake at that point. "You can sleep.." I heard her voice whispering. It became fainter and fainter as I gave into my body's plea for sleep. "I'll take good care of you.." No, I couldn't let myself fall asleep here. I pushed myself to sit up again, and she gave me a confused look.

"I have to go" I told her, tossing the sheets to the side.

"No, you don't, you can stay here. You're running out.." she said, pointing to the empty vial on the end table. "How much longer are you going to wait around to get more? Eventually you were going to have to find me." She was a bit too prideful while saying that, but she probably thought I wouldn't catch it.

"I never came to you in the first place. I always came to your uncle to stock up.." I said.

She seemed to pout at that, but she was still smiling. "And you would never even say 'hello'." She stood and walked to the door. "I won't lock it. You can leave when you want to. But, I hope you know that my uncle isn't in town, and won't be for a very long time. If you want to get your medication, you're going to depend on me to get them for you."

"You say that so confidently."

"I'm only telling you the truth, sweet heart~"

"Yes, you're very good at that" I said, with a hint of sarcasm.

"You're going to the festival, correct?"

What a change of subject there. Now I knew how I usually sounded..

"Well..I..yes, with a friend of mine."

"A friend?"

"A very close friend, correct."

"Ahh, a very close friend" she said, shaking her head slowly.

"Why?"

She was silent for a moment, as though she was thinking of what to say, but I could tell her next words weren't what she really wanted to say. We really did think too much alike.

"I would assume that if you're travelling, you would not have the appropriate attire for this kind of event, no?"

"No, I don't.."

"Then, we'll go shopping!"

"What!? No.. That's okay. I'll manage fine on my own, really" I said, smiling sheepishly while scratching the back of my head.

"Oh, come now. It's a harmless gesture. And..it will be fun!"

"But, I- I was going to go with-"

"Your very close friend, I know, silly. But now you'll be able to surprise her."

"I'd rather not-"

"Well, we're going anyway! And you will have a wonderful time, ok?"

"Uhm, I guess.."

"Great!" She smiled widely and pulled me right out of bed, threw my jacket over my head, and dragged me out the door. She must've known I would give in, because she already had a driver and car waiting outside the town house. Now I knew we were on the fancier side of town. She was probably only staying here temporarily until she could head back to her mansion. What was she even doing here, I wondered.

I hesitantly got into the car, and Lily sat right next to me. "You do know what to wear to these kinds of things, yes?" Before I could answer she continued. "Oh, of course you do! You had to dress formally for our parties. You remember those don't you? They were so delightful, and you always looked so adorable in your little kimono! I'll pick out a special one for you today. It'll be just like old times."

"Uh..yes, and yes? Ok.."

The car drove into town and stopped in front of some shops. I just had to be careful that we didn't stop in any shops that Shupple and Lux may be in, but I didn't smell them anywhere near, so it seemed safe enough.

"Let's go in here!" She grinned and dragged me into the Kimono shop. "I think blue or black would go lovely with you."

"Right..ok.."

She threw a whole bunch of them on me and then shoved me into a changing room to try them on. I stepped out each time in a different kimono, and she would clap and giggle. I blushed lightly at the attention I was beginning to receive and retreated back into the changing room with a loud sigh.

Finally I tried on the last Kimono, but this time I decided to wear it a little differently than it was meant to. When I stepped out, the kimono was more open, still tied at the side, but more like a cloak, so I was still wearing my jeans underneath.

She looked at me for a while, quiet, and thinking. Then she stood and clapped again. "I think it looks a lot more..what's the word... cool!"

I chuckled lightly. "Does it?"

She smiled and nodded. "I say you wear it just like that, and you wear this-" she said, pulling out something from a shopping bag. She must have picked out something while I was changing. "Instead of those old dog tags, you can wear these new ones." She removed my old, scratched up dog tags and stuck them in my pocket, before putting the new, shiny silver ones around my neck. The silver tags were blank though.

"I got lucky finding that, hm?" She chuckled lightly, taking a step back to look at it. "What do you think?"

"There's nothing on the tags" I said, looking at my reflection in them.

"Sure there are" she smiled. "You just can't see it yet. Anyway, I better be off. The clothes are paid for."

"You're just leaving me here?" I asked, bewildered.

"That's what you want, isn't it?" She blew a kiss and walked out the door. I could see the car leaving and soon I was alone again. Putting the paid for Kimono into a bag, I put my other clothes back on and wrapped my jacket around my waist. Something fell out of the pockets, two new vials of medication. She had filled them up for me. I was shocked, but didn't bother to question it. I looked up when I noticed the doors opening again. A group of people stepped in. Three girls and one guy. I couldn't remember if I recognized them or not, so I wasn't sure whether I should go over to them. The girls stepped into changing rooms, so I decided to walk over to the Tangrowth. Any small talk to get my mind off Lily was fine by me, no matter how random it was.

"Hey" I said, to catch his attention. When he looked up, I held out my hand as a friendly gesture and smiled.

"I'm Arc."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FFFFFFFFFFFFF such a random ending, but oh well. OTL;;;;;;;;;;;;;

So, here's what I bled onto my keyboard. x_______x Just wanted to get rolling again. *dodges bullets*

To summarize:

Arc doesn't bother going into the mansion because he doesn't really want to find out about what happened outside (because of the blood). To diverge himself from dealing with whatever was going on inside, he decided to take a walk. While on his walk, he bumps into Lily (His old master's daughter whom he was supposed to guard. Afraid that she may be up to no good, Arc decides to leave, but seeing Lily added to the pile of stress already building up, leading to him try and find his medication (stabilizers) to calm him down. In a panic to find them, he falls over unconscious and Lily takes him to her townhouse to treat him. (It is very likely that she knew this would happen and has planned to be there) When he wakes up a few hours later, he suspects that she wants something from him, but realizes that it is the other way around (a form of her manipulation). Not wanting to get caught up in her doings, Arc tries to leave, but her mastery of persuasion gets the better of him and he ends up shopping with her. When she leaves, he sees Tanner, Fresia, Shola, and Estelle walk into the store, and decides to make small talk with Tanner since he's the only guy out of a group of girls shopping. ALSO, I know he mentions Shupple as a 'very close friend', but that's only because he doesn't want to get her involved with Lily *__* Arc's not a player. Just saying.. *cough*

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND that's it.. Trying to introduce Arc to more peeps.. *__* Sorry, Anime-chan, I know this wasn't how they met in our pming xD But..I wasn't sure how to go about this. We can still add that other stuff in later~ ;)

If there's anything missing or any mistakes, tell me! 'Cause I know this sucks butt =w=

P.S- I'll probably draw what his kimono style thingy looks like later xD
