I was incredibly grateful when Tanner a.k.a DREADLOCKS (I like that nickname for him!) agreed into helping me with my... *cough cough* ANGER issues, if you will. It was about that time I became nicer anyways. I mean, of course I wasn't ALWAYS like this... There had to be a reason why I was a "hot headed bitch" but for some odd reason... I can't remember how I even got this way... AH WELL~ Back to the story, though! 8D
We were walking through the corridors to the backyard so we can have a little fresh air. I can tell he needed it more than I did. He was gonna have a VERY rough time. Teaching me to be nice IS hard because Estelle tried so many times before... but I doubt that it's totally IMPOSSIBLE! I'm just confident like that!
We reach out in the back. Boy... It sure was a beauty. The air that blew around us was crisp and a little chilly. The stars... oh Lucia, they were gorgeous like blood diamonds! I've never seen the night sky so.... dream like.. so.... exquisite, as Estelle would say.
"Wow, just look at the view out here, Dreads." I awed. He sulked his head and sighed. >.> What was his problem?
"Let's just get this over with, kay?" He faced me, dreads covering his unknown eyes. Seriously, I've never got the chance to see them thangs.. Wonder why he covers them. I straightened up, placing my arms to my sides and my feet together like I was a soldier.
"Hai!"
"Relax Bunny, this is not bootcamp. But first lesson... DON'T YELL SO MUCH." He placed his finger over his lips. I looked at him dumb-founded and tilted my head.
"How is this gonna help me be nicer? I GOT to yell. I'm leader!"
"You can be a leader that don't yell at her group members for no reason. Don't you realize people DON'T wanna hear you yell all the time?" He came closer to my face and poked me on the forehead with his snake like dread lock. I got closer in his with a puffed up face.
"Nooooooo! To be leader you gotta yell like a sergeant or a commander... or some shit! They always have respect by that! I watch TV."
"Well the TV is wrong. Most people act that way because they got like a bad past... or something like that..." He shrugged. Is he retarded or something?
"Wait... what?"
"NOTHING! ^____^ Now, to get that all out...." He grabbed me by the shoulders. I looked up at him. "Is there anything bothering you, Bunny? Anything at all?"
I turned my head but my eyes were still on him. "... What are you talking about Dreads?"
"Like are you holding anything back? Do you feel the need to just break down and cry sometimes?"
I thought about what he said. I mean, it's been a while since I've thought about things that were a pain in my ass. Like why people hated me... and why I couldn't make any friends like everybody else.. and like Lux... I wondered how he was doing... if he was okay... and if he still hated me for what I've done to him...
Lux: "I fucking hate you, Lupe...."
My ears flopped down and I bit my shaking lip. I wasn't about to cry, but those words did cut me deep. Yeah, I hated Lux... at least I THOUGHT I did. If I hate him, then why is what he said getting to me? Why does it hurt me so much? & if he was ever to find out about the.. the..
"Hey Bunny, you okay?" Tanner shook me a little. I snapped out of my depressing daze and blinked. "... Now that you mentioned it... I-"
"GOOD GOOD! Don't tell me what's bothering you. Cover your eyes with your ears, hold my hand, and walk with me" he commanded. I did what he said and we began walking. We were walking through the woods in complete silence. I knew it was the woods because I recognized the leaves crunching beneath our feet and the rustle of the trees and bushes. It wasn't our destination, though. I could tell. I didn't know where he was taking me, neither did I care. All I can think about was Lux. Lux Lux Lux Lux Lux! That blue monkey. The times we had, the fights we battled... they were... special to me... and...
"Bunny, you can look now", he whispered in my ear. I unwrapped my eyes and they opened. We were at a cliff. Down below was an ocean. I looked at Tanner with a confused expression.
"What game are you playing at here, Dreads?"
"I want you to yell it all out."
"O.o Yell what exactly??"
"Yell it all out! The stuff that's bothering you. I think that's one of the reasons why you're so mad all the time, ya know? Just... yell!"
I faced the night sky and the roaring waters on the tip of the cliff. I wanted to yell out all that was bothering me... but I just couldn't..
"Ahh..?"
Tanner sighed. "Louder."
"AHHH."
"Come on, now. You're not even trying! With feeling!"
I was feeling it now. "AHHHHHHHHHHH!"
He raised his hands up high. "AS LOUD AS YOU CAN, BUNNY! LET IT ALL OUTTTTTT!!" I thought about my horrid past. The killing spree that haunts my dreams every night. I thought about the bounty hunters. Why they always wanted us so bad... to sell for money and shit. Thought about the humans... the cruel evil humans. Why won't they accept us? Why they thought they were superior over everybody? It made me so angry. Then I thought about Lux.
And then, I did it. I screamed an emotional scream. It was the world's most scariest, 'damsel in distress', nastiest yell in all of Pokemon history. Tanner held his ears. The ocean stood still. Everything stayed silent for a minute or two. & Then I finally stopped and took a big breathe in...... and out.
"Holy Arceus, Bun. That was just fantastic!" He encouraged. I turned to him slowly. My legs felt like spaghetti. My eyes were close together. My heart was beating out of my chest. Felt like I was about to faint!
"Do me a favor and catch my fall, Dreads?" I said, close to a whisper. My legs gave in and I was falling to the grass. He ran up to me, catching my fall. I gave him a weak smile.
"So.. you really think I did good?"
"Yeah, & I think this should be the end of your lessons. You're kinda wore out from all the yelling you did today. But don't worry, you will be nice in no time!"
"Mmhm, Yeah..." & just like that, I was knocked out in his arms.
