Tanner
So Bunny and I just stood outside, looking out into the sky and scenery as we stood in the backyard. I wasn’t really eyeing it as beautiful at the moment because right now, I just needed to relax. I just basically asked out Estelle… Weird to think that… I guess…
"Wow, just look at the view out here, Dreads,” Bunny said and I just hung my head. Really? She’s still going to call me that? It’s such a stupid nickname.
"Let's just get this over with, ‘kay?" I told her as I faced her, her glancing at my bangs, probably wondering about them, and then she straightened up and placed her arms to her sides. Okay, this was not army camp or training camp for that matter anyways…
"Hai!"
"Relax Bunny, this is not bootcamp. But first lesson... DON'T YELL SO MUCH." That was the first thing that came to mind. She’s just too plain loud and yells at everybody, which in fact, practically scared them out of their pants. I placed my finger in front of my lips to make a point.
"How is this gonna help me be nicer? I GOT to yell. I'm leader!" Lupe told me with her head tilted and looking dumbfounded.
"You can be a leader that don't yell at her group members for no reason. Don't you realize people DON'T wanna hear you yell all the time?" I told her as I got up in her face and poked her with a piece of my hair on her forehead, which I think, just annoyed her more because she got closer with a puffed up face.
"Nooooooo! To be leader you gotta yell like a sergeant or a commander... or some shit! They always have respect by that! I watch TV." Really? TV? That doesn’t help really anybody in general…
"Well the TV is wrong. Most people act that way because they got like a bad past... or something like that..." I knew that from experience but Lupe looked at me like I was stupid when I shrugged it off.
"Wait... what?"
"NOTHING! ^____^ Now, to get that all out...." I grabbed her shoulder and looked her straight in the eye and she looked up at me in response. I remembered a technique my mother used to have me do whenever I was really mad at my friends… Well, my ex-friends, but anyways, it helped out with getting anger out. "Is there anything bothering you, Bunny? Anything at all?" I asked her, wondering if there was, even though I didn’t need to particularly know any of it in general. That’s what mother did anyways…
Her eyes were still on me while she turned her head. "... What are you talking about Dreads?"
"Like are you holding anything back? Do you feel the need to just break down and cry sometimes?" I asked her, remembering the feeling. She thought about it and slowly, her ears dropped and her face grew sad and tears formed in her eyes. It made me wonder if anybody saw her like this… If I was actually the only one who’s seen her vunerable like this… Oh great. That’s nice and perfect and dandy.
"Hey Bunny, you okay?" I asked her as I shook her a bit and she snapped out of her thoughts and blinked. "... Now that you mentioned it... I-"
"GOOD, GOOD! Don't tell me what's bothering you. Cover your eyes with your ears, hold my hand, and walk with me," I commanded her and she covered her eyes with her ears and took my hand as I took her through the forest, crunching the leaves and Pokemon hiding in the trees looking at me like I was crazy. I wondered if they even knew the wrath of the bunny…
I took her up a mountain near the ocean once we got out of the forest and took her to the farthest cliff that I could find and we both stood on the edge of it. Take her to the highest place and have her scream at the top of her lungs and that meant how much anger she had in her.
"Bunny, you can look now,” I whispered in her ear and she unwrapped her eyes and opened them. She then turned to me and looked at me with a confused look on her face.
"What game are you playing at here, Dreads?" What, was she thinking that I was going to tell her to jump? Even if it was tempting, I kept on track.
"I want you to yell it all out."
"O.o Yell what exactly??"
"Yell it all out! The stuff that's bothering you. I think that's one of the reasons why you're so mad all the time, ya know? Just... yell!" She turned to the ocean and the brightly lit sky and a somewhat pained expression came upon her face.
"Ahh..?"
I sighed. "Louder."
"AHHH."
"Come on, now. You're not even trying! With feeling!"
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" I could tell that was with feeling this time. I raised my hands up high.
"AS LOUD AS YOU CAN, BUNNY! LET IT ALL OUTTTTTT!!" She hesitated in screaming while she was thinking and then the really only thing I could do was cover my ears as she… well… I’m not completely sure if it was screaming or shrieking. Maybe combined for all I know. She did it for a good amount of minutes before she stopped and everything was still like it was before and she took a deep breath in and out. She didn’t look too well, if you ask me.
"Holy Arceus, Bun. That was just fantastic!" I encouraged her, knowing she probably couldn’t do anymore because she looked pale and her eyes were half closed.
"Do me a favor and catch my fall, Dreads?" Lupe asked in a whisper as she started to fall towards the grass on the mountain and I ran up to her and caught her automatically. I was kind of expecting this. Lupe gave me a weak smile.
"So… you really think I did good?" She asked me weakly. I gave a warm smile.
"Yeah, and I think this should be the end of your lessons. You're kinda wore out from all the yelling you did today. But don't worry, you will be nice in no time!" I told her with a grin.
"Mmhm, Yeah..." And then she passed out in my arms, her body limp and I walked back down, she being surprisingly light for what she gave off, I’ll give her that, and once I got back down to the ground and started to head through the forest towards the mansion. I could tell Xio, I think if I remember correctly, was coming back unhappy, and someone else behind him I couldn’t make out. Wasn’t entirely my problem I guess… Right now, I had to deal with Lupe.
Once I got back inside the mansion, which was hard not using any of my hands, I brought Lupe up to the second floor and found her room right beside Estelle’s, which I noticed, the door was open. Guess she was just wondering around… Made me wonder if she was okay, but firstly, I had to get Lupe out of the way… I entered Bunny’s room and found it surprisingly simple, besides the fact it had a boxing bag near the window. I brought her over to her queen size bed, go figure, and laid her down as she mumbled in her sleep and I pulled the covers over her and left the room, looking back one more time at her sleeping. If you thought about it, I guess, she wasn’t really bad on the inside. Just didn’t have the great personality and many other things but on the inside, I guess I could see a little girl, still. Not everyone destroys their inner child…
Yeah, and look at us. No inner child here…
“Don’t remind me…” I mumbled as I closed the door and went across the commons to the boy’s side of the second floor and found myself at my room, now seeing the door beside mine open and looking like that Xio’s… Eh… Whatever.
I got into my room and sat on my bed, looking at the destroyed grass on the floor from earlier. Just… disgusting. And go figure… I saw a bottle of sake sitting right under my nightstand… It would help me relax in the short while before I go to sleep anyways…
So I took the shot glass and poured a few times and shortly afterwards, my muscles relaxed. It wasn’t my thing to drink but that bunny just wore me out in general… and she made me tense and just… I don’t know how to describe it… Annoyed. That’s one of many words.
I only had one more drink before I felt myself completely relaxed and surprisingly, my head wasn’t pounding like usual and I didn’t feel drunk or feeling stupid. Guess my other side was helping with that…
If you were drunk, I’d let you go crazy… It isn’t the time for that anyways…
“Got that right,” I mumbled under my breath as I moved my hands through my hair and found so many knots in it; I found it annoying and hurtful. Guess it’s time to take out these dreadlocks and brush out this hair of mine… Great. This’ll take a few more hours that I wasn’t expecting to use up… At least I was relaxed in the bit. Good thing I put away the sake bottle and shot glass at least…
It hurts to take out dreadlocks for one thing, but when nerves are in the hair, it’s multiplied by ten. Or more, depending on pain tolerance. I slowly untwisted the dreadlocks in my bangs, the longest pieces of my hair still dangling on the floor and outside the door. I was about over halfway done with my bangs when I heard a body outside trip over my bangs and a squeal of pain go throughout some of the hallway. Did someone just trip over my hair? This was not what I wanted…
“Is someone out there?” I called out and I heard a girl groan and her stand up and poking her head in the door with rubbing her head. She had green, short hair and a white dress on synched by a red sash on her waist. She had two red horns, I guess you could call them, coming out of her head, and a big white tail. She looked like a Ralts to me…
“Sorry,” I said nervously as she looked at me and blushed brightly and looked down at the floor and I put my hand behind my head and scratched it nervously. “I can’t control my hair sometimes and it’s just long as it is…” I left off as she knotted some of her dress in her palm and then took a deep breath and looked at me.
“N-No, it’s my f-fault,” She said nervously as she stayed where she was and looked at my hair continuously. “I should’ve been l-looking in front of me,” she said and I smiled warmly.
“No, it’s okay.” I smiled. “I was just brushing out my hair anyways… Anyways, I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Tanner. And you are?” I asked as I put my brush down and looked at her through my bangs.
“I-I’m Raine. U-Um… Are you a Tangrowth?” She asked as she pushed the door open and more and fidgeted around. I was surprised she was able to distinguish the difference between Tangelas and Tangrowths.
“Yes. We have longer hair than Tangelas. You’re a Ralts, right?” I asked her and she nodded quickly and looked at the strands of hair just covering my bed and floor. Dear Arceus, this is embarrassing.
“U-Um…” She swooned a bit, her face going a bit pale. Would I have to carry another woman back to her room?
“I think you need to sit, Raine. You look like you’re about to pass out,” I told her and she just nodded quickly and came over next to some of my hair and sat on the ground, her feeling the grass through her fingers.
“U-Um… Tanner-kun?” Kun? “Do you need help b-brushing your hair?” Raine asked and I looked at my hair and realized it would be better if I had help with my hair… That way it could get done faster.
“Sure,” I told her with a smile and grabbed an extra brush off my nightstand and handed it to her. I always had extra hairbrushes since they break all the time with this thickness of hair.
She took the brush and started to untwist my dreadlocks and brush my hair quietly, keeping her thoughts to herself, and I had to admit, she was cute. I guess she was just shy.
And that’s when I heard another thump on the floor outside of my room. Did another person really just fall? Another?
I felt hands pick up my strand of hair that was outside and follow it into my room. I could tell it was a woman’s hands so when the door opened again, in came a Roselia. She was easy to tell because of the big roses she was carrying on her wrists. She had on a green suit, I guess you could say, that looked almost like a tutu with a yellow collar going up to her neck from the middle of her green suit and green shoulder pads, and green leggings that fit down to her green shoes. Her green hair shown off brightly too, though she had pain on her face, I don’t think from just falling, but from something else too. I could tell she was stressed out and hurting on the inside, like she had just been scolded or something.
“Are you okay?” I asked her and Raine looked up from untwisting my hair and up at the Roselia. The Roselia blushed slightly in embarrassment and shook her head.
“No, I’m alright. I’m truly sorry I tripped over your hair,” she said with a small smile as she looked at my hair and I could tell in her face, she wanted to brush it. I guess she liked hair.
“No, it’s fine. I have to keep an eye on my hair and it sitting outside the door,” I sighed with a slight nervous chuckle entwined. “Do you want to help brush it? I can see it in your eyes,” I told her with a warm smile and she blushed and nodded slightly.
“I would like that, thank you. I’m Roselyn,” Roselyn told me as she came over to me and sat beside me on the bed and started to work on the strands in the back of my hair with untwisting it. I handed her my last brush on my nightstand and she started to help brush out my hair.
“I’m Tanner,” I told her and she nodded and started on my hair.
“You keep your hair very well kept like this since it’s so long,” Roselyn told me and I smiled.
“Well, I try,” I chuckled a little and she giggled and continued on my hair, Raine doing the same.
I never would’ve figured two girls helping me with my hair at night, clearly after midnight. I guess they were both upset about something or other and this was helping distract them. No harm in that. Dreadlocks were just a pain… And so was the nickname.

Hope that was okay and that I included Roselyn in this! I thought it would be okay since I figured she might be upset after talking with Xio, but I wasn't completely sure about that. I thought since Roselyn liked hair, she would be willing to help Tanner out :) So Tanner's undoing his hair so he can get the knots out of it :D
