I clapped with arrogance knowing that dear Xio would turn his attentive ears towards me. “Ah good show Xio my man, very good show! I knew you wouldn’t let me down, but you never do anyway.” I was clearly a head taller than most others passing by, picking me out of a crowd wasn’t a chore and if you didn’t see me, you were a damn fool not to be looking in the first place…
“Who’s that?” A young girl questioned my man. Her expression read that she was very confused but… it had been a while since I had even seen Xio so of course whatever crowd he was running with now had no idea who I was. Bastard… he SHOULD be talking about me more often. Of course, I’m that important.
“Tch, should have known you were behind this. I thought I recognized that guy, so you set him up for it?” Xio spit out with a sneer. I was rather amused that he seemed so defensive. Not quite the Xio I remember…
“Oh don’t worry about him, I will bail him out later with my money and besides he was only a pawn, were you were my pride and joy.” I let a smile slither across my face and waited to a reaction out of Xio. I loved this game… Cat and mouse? Or snake…
The young girl clung to Xio’s arm and I watched the expressions roll through her eyes as they shone at me. “Umm Xio, do you know this guy?”
“I guess you can say that, we worked together with many different affairs for his business a while back. But I am curious what are you doing here?” Xio turned back to me and I smirked at him with my usual snake like charm.
“I’m looking for something and I do believe I found it.” I passed a hand through the air as if to dismiss the unimportant. “I needed a vacation from father’s company and heard of such a wonderful festival and so here I am!” I grinned wide at the couple and allowed my red canines to gleam under the lights. A hint of sadistic glamour danced about my eyes.
“Oh great, so you are looking for a woman again eh?” He asked me as if he could read my mind.
“OF COURSE XIO!!!” I laughed aloud knowing that if it wasn’t my dashing good looks that would attract women, it would be the money… Though, I never had to worry about gold diggers. They didn’t last longer than a night to begin with. I had yet to meet any woman that could sate my appetite.
“Typical… You haven’t changed have you, Sevran?”
“Haha, you are so serious? But that is why you are a favorite of mine at work.” I grinned at him and then turned my attention to the prey before me. “Now it’s a pleasure to meet you my lovely ladies, I am Sevran Stephan Serpentos VII.” I gently kisses each one of their hands and took in the scent of both. I would remember them for later…
“You two know each other?” The young one spoke, a flush in her cheeks.
“Yeah…I guess you can say something like that.” I watched as Xio’s eyes scanned his memories…I smirked again and remembered as well. The good old days, Xio as my personal guard and hitman. There was no other like him and I became feared in the underworld for the aggressive way I handled my enemies.
“Yes yes, Xio used to work for me at a bakery!” I watched as Xio subtly wanted to slap himself. I grinned once again, my red canines always catching the light just right.
“Really? No wonder you know how to cook Xio.” Kiki exclaimed. “You own your own bakery?” Gaia asked me. “Oh yes I own my own business and so much more my dear” I remarked. She seemed to take interest in this; I’d have her in the sack in no time.
“That’s so cool, you will need to tell me more about this sometime Xio.” The young girl smiled at him. “You haven’t told me much about your past.”
“Sure…I can do that.” Xio looked at her for a moment and then seemed uncomfortable.
“Sevran, I have to admit you are a very charming man and have a great sense of style.” The older woman spoke and proceeded to encircle me as if to size me up.
“Yes I do haha! I am glad you noticed!” I laughed aloud and ran a hand through my long red and dark blue hair.
“Kiki, this is what you need a man like him. He has style, grace, and rich plus he isn’t a bad boy!” She pointed out to Kiki. Oh how wrong she was. Perhaps… I could lure both of them into my bed at once??
“Xio, you really should take a few tips from me,” I pointed out to Xio and kept from winking. My smiled indicated otherwise.
“Oh shut up!” He rolled my eyes. “I get along just fine the way I am.”
“You think you impressed me with that stunt with the purse Xio?” Gaia interrupted. “Well you didn’t, and I just do not see you and Kiki being a good couple and to be honest I just don’t want her to go with you.”
“Sister.” Kiki said trying to stop Gaia from her tangent.
“You won’t cut your hair, you wear that bandana like a biker boy, you have had sex, you are too old for her, your style is too dark, you are rude, conniving, and I just don’t like your eyes. Oh and did I mention that tattoo of yours is not attractive. You may treat her good but you are just trash and have nothing compared this man here. It’s like the prince and the popper and-”
“That’s enough Gaia! I am going with Xio….” Kiki yelled stepping in front of Xio.
“Ouch…” I mumbled before I had realized what I had spoken.
Xio’s tone went in a completely opposite direction, as I had only seen him this way a few times. “I have been pleasant with you, I have tried being nice, I have done what you asked and yet you keep insulting me, keep cutting me down, and you find so many things wrong with me.” Xio took a harsh step in front of him and set Kiki to the side. “The thing is you know nothing about me, and haven’t even tried and honestly I hate women like you. You don’t even take the time to look at what is wrong with you. You have so many ugly qualities Gaia and just looking at you is sickening to me. Maybe you should just be happy that I actually treat Kiki with respect and she is happy, but NOOO that isn’t good enough for you bitch.”
I watched the two go at it for awhile and though it seemed that Gaia really did deserve what Xio was giving her I had to step in when things started to turn violent. “Okay Xio you have done enough, let her go.” I separated the two and Gaia fell to the ground.
I tried to be silent as the rest of the drama went on and I felt more and more uncomfortable. This was too personal for me not to mention I hated girl drama. Drama of my own on the other hand, impressive and fairly amusing!
“That was because you push him too hard.” Kiki said her voice normal level but tense in anger. “If you push anyway hard enough they couldn’t take it anymore right uh… Mr. Sevran?” Kiki said looking at me.
I blinked a few and cleared my throat. I almost hadn’t realized she was speaking to me until I heard my name called. “Ahem, I would think so with most people. I see you three need to be alone so I will take my leave. So then goodnight and I hope when we meet again we can get more acquainted.” I gave a charismatic smile at Gaia and winked at Kiki then walked away.
I walked off in my usual suave manor and played off the disaster I had stepped into. I thought to myself for awhile… Jeeze, how did Xio get caught up in such a painful situation. I, on the other hand, never have to worry about that! I don’t attach myself to any woman. They’re a pain and are too emotional with the exception of Miranda… I heard myself sigh aloud and shook it off. Remembering how beautiful that woman was… she was MADE for me. But every time I tried to court her freaking Anya would step in the way. What was with that crazy woman??
I proceeded to walk around the mall and spend some more money to blow off some steam. I ended up at the ice cream shop an hour later and the girl behind the counter, a golden Gijinka was rather sexy… I wooed her for a little while until she completely fell for me. I took her home that night and had my way with her.
-Next Day-
I woke up to the babe still on my arm. She had to go… like soon. I had a schedule to keep. I woke her up as gently as possible and was… nice to her. We showered and I let her do her hair… Ok, now she HAD to go. It’d be awhile before I called her back…
After the coast was clear I went through my things I bought yesterday for the festival. I might have to get a few things tailored but overall it looked fairly nice. I’d probably ask Serena, my little sister, for her opinion…
