Everything is from Umbre's POV.
It's been a long time since I decided to visit someplace new. The winding roads and the fluorescent smells along the paths I've been traveling have distracted me from wondering about this place I'm heading. Someone told me that it is a mansion housing many different breeds of pokémon gijinka. I'm not sure what this place is like, though. A friendly place would be ideal, but maybe it would be best if I turned around and sought out an isolated place... somewhere where I wouldn't have to explain my reasons for being there.
I wanted to head someplace new, though. To find somewhere that would be like a home.
I treaded carefully and was amazed at what I saw. The mansion was gorgeous, sitting neatly upon the earth. There was vibrant scenery neatly surrounding the place and it was abuzz with activity. So many people were chatting and helping with preparations for something. Before I could even take a step farther, I was greeted by two gijinkas, who were, as they introduced themselves, Bella and her brother Leaf.
Bella bowed to me. Looking inquisitively I introduced myself as well.
"My name is Umbre.. I guess my name isn't very original, though. It was my father who that it had a nice ring to it."
They went on to describe their family. Both of them were nice people, and I wouldn't mind staying here if everyone was as kind.
After leaving their company, a meowth and a ralts walked across my vision talking about an upcoming festival. My ears twitched ever so slightly. I wonder what the occasion was?
