Time--Day of the festival, after Tanner puts Lupe in bed (Will be his last post in this world before the move! He gets his outfit YAY!)

I woke with a start. I felt something tug at me as the morning sun beamed into my face. Something.... Something was wrong.
I sat up, combing through my hair in confusion, trying to look for my goggles and earrings as I tried disparately to find out what was wrong.
My goggles and earrings. They were on my nightstand. But as I turned to grab them, they were not the only things I found.
A letter rested there, with the simple name "Chii" written on it... In unmistakable handwriting. Why..... Why had he....?
I grabbed the letter in shaking hands, not even bothering with my clothes or accessories, just sinking to the floor in only my boxers. W...Why had he....? I was almost too afraid to read it, but I forced myself to. And this is what it said:
Chii
Cya, kid. You knew this day would come.
What? Did you really think we'd never be apart again, after being separated for so long and for reviving our friendship? You had every right to think that I guess. But you’ll understand why I have to leave this place. I’ll send you a letter from the rest of us when I find them. I have to protect them, Chii, the others are still gone and I don't even know if they're okay. I swore to protect them and maybe fate or whatever brought us togther to fix what'd been wronged but in the end they are what I left for. You have to understand, I have to make sure they're all safe and one day we'll all see you again.
Heck, maybe we'll go back to the island. But I realize this is you're home now, kid. So I guess this is goodbye then. Hopefully, I won’t run into Shay out there, or my brother.... But I will not give this place, this sanctuary, away to humans or hunters or those awful Gijinka. PGR’s secret is safe with me, I swear to you.
You all really helped me out, you moron. Please don't hate me again for leaving. Maybe

I slammed my fist into the nightstand, denting the wood. When in the HECK had he decided this?!? Of course I understand but that doesn't mean you get us and leave without at least waking me up YOU IDIOT!!!!!!!!
Call me a drama king all you like, but I was angry and I cried a bit, crumpling up the letter and wringing my hands into my sheets. After so long being so angry at him and then patching it up only for him to leave without warning all over again.

I did understand, he needed to find everyone, make sure they were safe and that they were sheltered and not attacked my hunters. I understood fine. It's just...........
Something I hadn't noticed before caught my eye. It was on the envelope on the inside. I turned it over to read it.

I whipped my head around.
LUPE DARRRRRLINNNNGGG!
I sprinted to the closet, all thoughts of Cheruu I forced out of my mind, I would be angry another day, right now I had to get ready. In the back of my closet, I found my festival kimono, which I'd bought a long time ago, waiting for this occasion. I pulled it out and smiled. Short. Just the way I liked it. <3 It was blue with long sleeves and a tie in the back that turned into fake fins that almost touched the floor. It had a few gold patterns and fit me down to my mid-thighs.
I chuckled a little to myself as I pulled it on. It's soooo coooool~
But after I'd pulled it on, I reached into my closet again and pulled out another kimono. This one was different than mine in a lot of ways. It was (INSERT COLOR HERE OTOMII?) with long sleeves and the gown went down to the ankles. It was slim-fitting and the neck line was pretty low. And most of all, this was a woman's kimono~
I squealed a bit to myself. I'd hoped Lupe hadn't already bought hers yet. Besides, wasn't the date supposed to buy it?? I shrugged. Oh well. And excuse to see her again I suppose~~~
I changed out of my kimono really quick and back into my regular clothing before heading out.
I practically skipped out of my room and down the hall to the woman's wing, all the way to my Lupe Darling's room. I didn't hear anything from inside, but I shrugged briefly and knocked on the door, her kimono in my arms.
There was no reply... So I took it upon myself to throw the door open. "LUPE DARLI--"
She wasn't awake. I looked on and found her contently asleep on her bed and I shut up immediately, a little embarrassed.
So instead (because I guess in a sense I can be a creeper sometimes), I watched her sleeping. I smiled warmly down at her. She was so cute when she was asleep.... So calm and so much like the Lupe I'd come to know when we had our moments together. I'd missed that about her....
But wait a minute... I'd noticed that she hadn't changed out of her day clothes.
Odd.
I was scared to do so, but gently I touched her shoulder and moved it a bit.
"...Lupe....?" I whispered gently. "Lupe darling, are you okay?"
She grumbled a bit and moved, so I tried it again. "Lupe?"
She grumbled again, more forceful and irritated this time and I didn't feel it until it hit me. One of her ears twitched and clubbed me in the head and I fell onto the bed, my body almost crushing hers but I'd caught myself before I could hurt her. I laughed a bit at her ear catching me off guard for a moment, then realized all too late the position I was in.
Her eyes open and my blood went ice cold while the heat went to my face.
Holy Arceus I was dead. PLEASE make her understand--This wasn’t my fault!
