Unkown Festival

Included: Umbre

The day of the festival finally arrived. I sat pondering in the lodgings I was given whether or not I should go. After all, no one has yet even told exactly what this festival is being held for =v=~
Or maybe it was just one of those festivals. The auspicious ones with bright lights and food held to serve only as a release from stress and worries. A place anyone can enjoy. No matter how I tried to get out of it though, those kind gijinkas I met when I got here all persisted that I should go. I pushed myself up from my seat, traced the wall with my hand and decided to go. I couldn't not go with their kind words floating around my head.

Right before I got up to leave, I realized something: I didn't have anything fancy to wear. I'm lucky the dress attire for the occasion is a kimono, one of which I wear normally, but would it be fancy enough? I didn't have anything exactly elaborate in my opinion... Maybe my drab kimono would suit, I wasn't sure. I pulled on my gloves with the glowing rings and my necklace (fixed with a stone that reacted to moonlight and glowed like the natural phosphorescent rings that highlighted my hair). Maybe these fancy accents would draw attention away from my boring clothing.
I started to leave once again before realizing something else. Everyone was going with someone else, either as friends or as a date. *facepalm* I haven't been here long enough to have either ; v ;

Walking out the door I hoped that I could have an equally enjoyable time disregarding these things. Maybe there would be dances, vendors lined up one tightly packed against the other, fireworks, songs, or... -sniffs the air and is overcome with a lingering aroma-... FOOD *Q* -drool-
On second thought... this might be the best day of my life~!
