I stood there for a second, then walked off. If Celebi had taken that long to bring her back, then she was somewhere else, of she would appear later today. So I walked off back home.
"Vapor!" cried Eve.
"That's right!" I said, my pace quickening. "Mom and Dad don't know that you evolved yet!" Soon enough, I was running home, Eve and me laughing the whole way.
When I got there, my mom was in the kitchen, and my dad was relaxing on the couch infront of the T.V. They both looked up when I came in. "Guess what!" I exclaimed. "Eve evolved!"
"That's great, sweetheart!" my dad said, running up to Eve, who did an excited back flip. My mom smiled, but something in her eyes didn't look as happy as dad was.
"I guess it's time to carry out with our promise," she said. "I don't know if you remember, but your father and I said that we would let you go out and be a traveling trainer when Eve evovled." I remembered the promise clearly. I wanted to evolve all my Eevees, so that I would have a team of every basic type of Pokemon. Well, that excluded flying, rock, ground, steel, fighting, and bug. Maybe I could catch some Pokemon like that while I explored!
"Thanks you guys!" I hugged my dad, then my mom. Fast as possible, I ran up the stairs. I threw everything that mattered to me in my pack, then ran out the door. Before I got off the porch, my dad grabbed my arm.
"Come with me for a minute," he said. I followed him to... the bike shop? We went inside and Dad pulled out his wallet. He went over to the clerk, leaving me standing at the entrance. When he returned, the clerk was wheeling a bike over. It was awesome! It had a basket, water bottle holder, and pouch that I didn't know about.
"The pouch," the clerk said when he saw me staring at it, "Can hold more pokeballs for the serious trainer. Your father bought this bike here for you." I ran and jumped up, giving my dad a huge hug.
"Thank you so much!" So with that, I started out on my adventure.
