Unknown Messages

*** - Unown are just little pokemon letters, right?
Alright, when I was younger, I purchased Pokemon silver from a thrift store, and I am pretty confident that it wasn’t a hacked version since nothing seemed very glitchy at the time. I played through the game and then left it for a few years as I explored the other games. Well more and more I began to greow interested in the Pokemon world, and one thing I learned was the unknown alphabet, and here is where the story begins. During my second run through of the game I thought it would be interesting to collect all of the unknown and have a collection in a box. So I went to the ruins, solved the puzzle and fell through to the chamber below. For good measure I set my station to the unknown station. and soon enough I ran into my first unknown, and it was the “L” unknown. And so I battled it with my noctowl and caught it. As I ran into more unknown I realized they were spelling something out, so one by one I started to run into more and more unknown each adding a letter of it’s own to one long string of letters revealing a message It began simply enough, l-e-a-v-e. I thought it was random happenstance but as more and more battles progressed they began to spell out something more sinister. l-e-a-v-e n-o-w. o-r s-u-f-f-e-r. Well perhaps I should have left then, but I didn’t. I kept running into more and more unknown to try and find a message but after that random letters appeared. So after 10 or so battles I headed for the exit, but then, every single step resulted in a random battle spelling out, t-o-o l-a-t-e. I headed towards the exit without any trouble, but once I reached it I walked through and instantly appeared where I originally fell through, and a message appeared stating “You hurt yourself” and worried, I checked my pokemon, and they seemed fine, so I ran through to the exit once more and as I passed through the doorway I once more appeared at the beginning of the chamber, and this time another message appeared, “You are very wounded.” the music also changed at this point. It sounded like a heart monitor, beeping twice every few seconds, and my character was unable to run at norml speed, and this time every three steps I ran into the same two unknown, “H” and “A” when I finally reached the door, I thought about shutting off the game right there, but I didn’t, I regrettably walked through the door once more. This time, as I fell my character couldn’t move, the radio played nothing but a dull neverending beep, and when I checked my pokemon, I could see their health deteriorating every second, I think that accounted for starvation. Once the last pokemon reached zero, the screen turned black, and then one by one each unknown flashed past the screen A-Z. After this the sound stopped, and the screen remained black. I shut off my gameboy, and as I restarted the screen only read corrupted file.
