Papers rustling, pens dropping, phones ringing, desk chairs being moved and my left paw tapping. All the noises and restricting me to my seat was starting to annoy me.
Though I may be the head of this police station, I still even have someone to re port to, "I should have never told the boss about my early leave today..." I growled under my breath.
"Hey Alpha, I can tell you're uneasy. Doggy upset cuz he didn't get his walk?" A Staraptor named Staptan joked as he came over to my desk and leaned on his hand placed on my desk.
"Staptan, get back to work before I kick your ass....with my bad leg." I glared at his hand that wasn't just on my desk, but on my papers that I should be looking at.
"C'mon man, the main boss man just wants you to take it easy so you get a good check up at the doc." He grinned like a fool.
"Go on patrol Staptan." I got up, limped around my desk, grabbed him by the shoulder and walked him to the door.
"Hey wait, chief. Why you shoving me out?" He looked over his shoulder, "Waaaiiiiit, HOW CAN YOU MOVE ME SO EASILY ON FAST ON A MESSED UP LEG?!" He looked down at my legs.
"Get going before I put you on night shift." I opened the door and pushed him out. "Safe patrol, Officer." I said and closed the door, walking back to my desk.
After about a half hour passed before to young adults came in, though, One I knew slightly well and he's more of a child in some ways.
“Hey Mr. Alpha sir.” the boy said as he waved, silca, after he placed a pikachu girl in front of me. He gestured to her and she and she greeted me.
“Silca...” I sighed, “I told you to stop calling me that... Alpha is just fine.” looking over at the girl, who is obviously new, "who is she?"
“Well, I'd like to tell you who she is” he said.
Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath, trying not to rub my temples at the annoyance of the two minutes that Silca and the girl have been here. “Silca, listen I don't have time for this..”
“NO YOU HAVE TO LISTEN , THIS GIRL SHE'S-” He seemed really hyped over something if he had to tell me.
Getting up, once again, I lifted Silca and the yellow girl up and walked them to the station door. “Have a great day, and don't come back to flaunt your blossoming love” I said and set them out on their feet and let the door close on its own.
"Oh wow, Alpha, I've seen you take out the trash TWICE today." One of the policeman joked, then looked at my leg "Is that good on your leg?" she said and some of the others looked at me too.
"Ignore my leg, I've been a cop for awhile now." I looked them all over, "Now, don't you all have work to do?"
"Yes sir." they said as a team and got back to their pencil scratching and paper rustling.
After about an hour and half I looked at the clock that hung on the wall, ticking softly among the room. I got up from my chair and grabbed my coat. "I'm heading out for the day, I may come back later, so keep up the work." saying to my workers as I limped to the door. Just as I opened the door, Staptan came in.
"Headed out sir?" he asked.
"Yes, and I'm leaving you in charge now. Make sure to file and fill out any reports while I'm gone." I patted him on the shoulder and walked out.
I made my way down to the hospital, saying hello and checking up on the residents of the village as well as being almost dragged into the park by a few of the children before their mothers came to get them.
When I made it to the hospital building, I signed in and waited in the wait room. I talked with some of the other patients while we were all there.
Soon after awhile of waiting, I was the last one in the room as the other patients had earlier appointments than me and I only had to do a check up. I rubbed my leg and knee as I waited trying to ease the pain a little. Feeling the scar under my leg fur from the accident and surgery.
"Mr. Alpha?" A women came out with a clipboard in hand.
My ear twitched a bit at the sound of my name from a new womans voice. "Hm?" I responded and looked up from my leg.
"I'm your nurse for today...Will you come with me, please?" she said as she gestured for me to follow after her.
"I'm Anishaa." She smiled she looked up at me.
"Evening Anishaa." I nodded down at her.

I think I might be using Staptan as a side character a lot, He might be Alpha's patrol/work buddy when Al actually gets to go do things.
