I just had my forthcoming yesterday and i have to say...it was crazy. The most fun i had was preparing at my friend's house and taking pictures though it was tiring to stand in the same position for minutes...And what's so surprising is that..I wore makeup for the first time! I want to try it out and it was my friend's birthday too so she forced it on me to wear it. Though it took like her like 20 minutes to have the final "touch." 
Here comes the disaster part.
So my friend's parent's GPS wasn't working apparently cause every time they enter the address to the place of the forthcoming wasn't the right address so we had to follow my other friend's car to get there. On the way there...my friend noticed that we were following the wrong car! 
We were like, "oh, crap." 
We were circling around the neighbors and looking for someone to ask directions there. But it was so dark and creepy and it was in a bad neighbor so it was scary..We called our friends that were already there and they said that it was near this place. So then we had to find that place and so we did. except that the streets were only ONE WAY and we were circling around again! -____-
We decided to walk to the place since we could see and we thought it was close by. So then my friend's parents drop us off and we were on the way walking to the place. The thing is...IT WAS DARK AND IT WAS FAR THAN WE THOUGHT IT WAS. Just imagine 3 girls walking in the dark...what's gonna happen? Fortunately, we got there safely. We were tired even before the dance. 
The rest of the time, we just went to look for people and barely dance. We mainly took pictures at the end and went to karoke. But then, here comes another disaster. Turns out, we had to reserve a room and we didn't know. So once we got there, we waited and waited for a room to be available for 30 minutes. It was getting late and no one was leaving so we had to leave. 
Here's the lesson: PLAN AHEAD. cause you don't know what's gonna happen and something will screw everything up. 
I'm just wondering how did everyone's homecoming if you went?
