Six medals for Korean diving in Hangzhou...most ever at a single Asian Games

Korean diving concluded its Hangzhou campaign with a record six medals, the most in a single Asian Games.

With six medals (two silver, four bronze) at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games, Korea has surpassed Jakarta-Palembang 2018 (two silver, three bronze) and Incheon 2014 (one silver, four bronze) for the most medals at a single Asian Games.

Earlier in the day, Kim Soo-ji (25-Ulsan Metropolitan City Hall) finished fourth in the women's 3m springboard event with 288.85 points at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre in China's Zhejiang Province.

Third-placed Sayaka Mikami (JPN) scored 304.65 points, 25.80 points higher than Kim.

In the next event, the men's 10m platform, Kim Young-taek (22-JEJU) finished seventh with 376.65 points and Lee Jae-kyung (24-Gwangju) was ninth with 369.00 points.
