Hey there! I am Fighter xaos though some call me.... *thunder crashes* Jerry. Anyway some of you may already know me as xaos.
I am chaos.
# it is a bottomless gulf where anything falls endlessly. This radically contrasts with the Earth that emerges from it to offer a stable ground.
# it is a place without any possible orientation, where anything falls in every direction.
# it is a space that separates, that divides: after the Earth and the Sky parted, Chaos remains between both of them
*“Chaos often breeds life, when order breeds habit”
*You need chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star.
*Chaos and Order are not enemies, only opposites.
*Out of chaos God made a world, and out of high passions comes a people.
I rarely update people on my podcast here on theO anymore, but since this episode has a little to do with anime I figured I mention it. Me and the Ikaricast crew give our respects to Satoshi Kon before talking about our main topic which is the iPod event that starts September 1st.
Hey guys! I came back from the mall and just as I said it was PACKED! Gosh. O_O I was kinda scared I'll be honest. Especially near the Apple store, the line was GIGANTIC, and when I say GIGANTIC I mean GIGANTIC. I bought some shirts, a watch and the third Dragon Box the Dragon Box was the highlight, great DVD box set at 25 dollars, instead of the usual 50. ^__^
Ah, the title? Well, yes it's true there were Japanese schoolgirls... LOTS of them. I went to the mall and noticed a school bus and thought nothing of it. Then I saw the Japanese school girls and went O_o what in the world? We don't get a lot of Japanese tourism here, if any at all, I'd say perhaps British tourists are much more common. Then I remembered the school bus and was like "doy, they're here on some sort of class trip" Then I was like "wait, why would they be what's special about today?" Then I remembered yet another thing... The Basketball Hall Of Fame induction! Scottie Pippen, and Larry Bird and a lot of other members of the Dream Team are here in Springfield. Like I said in my tweets, The Basketball Hall Of Fame inductions are the only time people even remember that Springfield, Massachusetts exists. What's with the Japanese visiting us? Well, here's where things get interesting, you see even though it's rare to have them visit us it's not without precedent (hence why I said rare and not said it's the first time it ever happened) because our sister city is in Japan. Springfield's sister city is Takikawa in Hokkaido, those students are from Hokkaido and because of this whole cultural exchange stuff, they came over, I guess they were shopping for souvenirs or something, when they were at the mall.
Starting tomorrow in Massachusetts is Tax Free Weekend where if you buy something you pay the sticker price for it, no tax will be added. If it's 9.99 that's what it is, not 10 something. I am going to take this opportunity to go shopping at the mall... or maybe Wal-Mart I haven't decided. I am asking that you guys wish me the best and/or pray for me because it's going to be PACKED and I'm scared. I might come back all beat up from all the people I'm going to fight to grab the last of something I really want. If you followed me on twitter you'd know most of this already. XD
Hey, hey guess what, you're wallpaper might be on a site that you never uploaded to and they might get stolen by someone else too. Some of you might be looking for scans to use, and might accidentally actually use a wallpaper made by another member of the site. Go here to read what happened to Cloud55Strife's sister You can't really stop them from grabbing your wall (can you? don't you have to be logged in to download the high res walls? But you can put your signature on the wallpaper so you'll know it's your wallpaper if you see it on some other site.
So I go to otakuboards today, part for randomness and part to start a thread on the new Super Robot Taisen anime announced. I just recently became a fan of Super Robot Wars and I go and check the very first thread I started there, what's your favorite underrated anime When I first started it had a couple views and like 4 replies. I check back now and there's 2,000+ views and 52 replies! O_o Why did this happen AFTER i stopped caring? Seriously. XD
