I'm on Spring Break, and I WAS excited. I'm going to launch my site fairly soon. I just don't know what to feel though, I WAS excited. A site where I talk about stuff I love. I decided to stay with the name I used here on that site.
One of my main things was talking about video games. But it seems that some people out there seem to think I only love one gaming console, and that I just try and pick apart the others. People who don't even know me by the way. Yes, I prefer a Playstation 3, but I also have a Nintendo Wii and I love it. It's all about preference. I can't even believe I have to even SAY this. Those who are close to me always tell me how they love that I'm unbiased. Why should I be? In the end of the day they're just games only distractions, only hobbies. Nothing to get worked up over.
Hey guys just felt I had to do a quick post on something I thought was kinda funny. Also to tell you guys again... The Geek Fighters ARE coming! Not the Anime Mavericks, the Geek Fighters! ...Which the Anime Mavericks are a part of. *ahem* Anyway I just thought I'd tell you guys about today in college where I was sitting chilling waiting for my next class to start. I had my iPod on and my professor was in his office doing some stuff. Ok, here's something about my professor is he an older gentleman and almost ALWAYS has this (beautiful) orchestral music playing. I mean really sophisticated stuff. Oh, and did I mention I was sitting near his office. Anyway, here's what I thought was just kinda funny. While he has his nice music playing, here I am with my iPod listening to music with these exact lyrics "bounce that booty, bounce that booty, bounce that booty, booty, booty, booty" Which is from a mix done by my boys To Cook Chris and Bobby D. XD I couldn't help but chuckle. Oh, and also on the subject of music and iPods and all. Have you ever had songs on your iPod that you NEVER listened to? Today I was at home watching Tom and Jerry and all of a sudden I'm hearing this song and I'm going O_o that's... REALLY pretty, and then I looked and it was titled Cabo Parano and I'm like "I usually skip this one". You know that makes me sad that I skip some pretty songs. I guess I should be fairer to the songs on my iPod.
Oh, and for some reason Vic Mignogna felt like dubbing a scene in Star Wars, check it out. It's kinda awesome...
So... i'm kind of excited. :| XD .... I'm very excited. So, I don't know if I mentioned the Anime Mavericks before? I know I have, I remember putting up the youtube video about needing a web deisgner and all. Well, unfortunately the site that was planned has run into some difficulties. It looked like it wasn't going to be up anytime soon. The designer they had was busy with other projects and... blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda, the site is no more. HOWEVER, the Anime Mavericks are NOT dead. On the latest episode of the Rising Sun Podcast (which isn't up due to technical difficulties, I don't know what's going on with that) They announced that the Anime Mavericks SITE is no more but they will still live on. How? A new site called TheGeekFighters is how! Myself and Yuzna and Ralf Jones have decided to create a business and site called TheGeekFighters. The Anime Mavericks will be a part of TheGeekFighters. I'm not going into much detail since I don't want to sound like pure spam. So... the GeekFighters is where the Anime Mavericks will be posting their stuff from now on. Right now there are 10 people on board to help the site including myself. You can note me if you want more detail.
Also, school is still going crazy and I want Heavy Rain so freakin' badly! I haven't drawn anything new in a long time either. Also the drawings I DID do are not up because I need a better program than what I'm using right now. It's not playing nice with my Mac.
So, it's really late and I admit the real reason I posted was so that I have a place to find these things without searching when I get on tomorrow. But I figured ya'll might enjoy it too. Side note.... why is there a Pokemon section for anime but not video games? That makes NO sense. O_O
What are these things I'm comparing? Well, it's the OSTs! Specifically one track from the OSTs for the HeartGold and SoulSilver remakes and the original Gold and Silver. That track is, Dark Cave! My personal favorite track in ALL of the Pokemon games. Anyway here goes:
