The New Beginning…
My name is Seraph Leon Angelo. I am what is known as a Valoren. A Valoren is a the strongest type of being a soul can become. There’s a catch though. The soul has to amongst the purest of souls and go through Valoren training under a Valoren. They’re aren’t many souls that are that pure and a little less that actually get through training. I’m kinda of a special case. I was an experiment to create a Valoren in the spiritual realm. I was born human with a Valoren soul. I’m the only human born Valoren. I’m different because I can show emotions without it being fake and take a little pride in the things I do. I’m the youngest Valoren so far. There are only seven of us. One for each soul-type except water which has two. Allow me to give a little soul 101.
There are two basic types of souls. Human souls and Ex souls. Ex souls are souls who are born into the worlds without a human body. Usually, those souls are bitter and have an emptiness for the lack of emotion they feel due to not having human bodies and never having a chance to experience it. So they attend a sort of academy in spiritual realm that teaches them how to take over a human body. From there, three thing can happen. Most likely, they enter and torture a soul by making them think they’re going insane then announcing they’re presence and then slowly they take control of the body until the human gives up in hopelessness. Or, rarely, they form a bond with the human soul they enter and form a symbiotic relationship thus the souls get to finally experience true emotion and the emptiness they once felt fades. Lastly, a Human soul might be powerful enough to overpower the Ex soul and force it out of their body. Usually a Ex Soul stronger than a human soul due to the spiritual training in the academy. Also, they usually enter a human body where they have an advantage due their soul-type.
There are six soul-types. Water, Fire, Earth, Air. Plus Light and Darkness. Water has the advantage over Fire. Fire has the advantage over Earth. Earth has the advantage over Air. Air has the advantage over Water. It’s a cycle. Light and Darkness are special. Light gets the advantage when attacked yet has no advantage when attacking. Darkness is vice versa. I, myself, am of the Water soul-type.
Another interesting fact about souls is that the amount of power a soul has is measured by the size of the soul. Valoren souls are the biggest so far. We’ve yet to encounter anything that is equal to our power.
Now about the spiritual realm. there is somewhat of a democracy there. And a military regime known as the RMC or Residence Military Campaign. Unfortunately, Ex souls are taught to believe Valoren are mere fairy tales and those tales make us seem like the boogey man or something. It’s a little depressing actually.
Above Ex souls and Human souls are two paths. One is a corrupt soul known as Residence. Residence are the enemy of the Valoren. They can choose to devour weaker non-Residence souls. Residence are many times bigger than normal Ex souls and Human souls. One becomes a Residence by join the RMC. A powerful organization in the spiritual realm. They act kind of like an monarchy with in the family that runs the organization. I’ll tell you all how I know that later. Residence pray upon Human souls and devour them followed by them making your body commit suicide. Residence take a month to devour your soul. But humans can’t do anything about it. They’re simply not strong enough to. There are symptoms that are always the same that tell you a Residence is going to devour your soul. One, when a Residence enters your body, you began to have nightmare about death. Just death in general; your own death, death of family members, pets, etc. Two is when the Residence starts devouring your soul, your luck dives bombs to point when you enter an inescapable depression. Three is when the Residence has almost devoured our soul, you feel a bloodlust for the things that are causing you the depression. Finally, the moment you give up on life is when the Residence finishes devouring your soul followed by the suicide. A Valoren can save you at any moment of this process except after the Residence has devoured your soul. Residence are usually destroyed on sight unless instructed to do otherwise by any other Valoren.
Finally, there is the path of the Valoren. Like I mentioned, You must have among the purest of souls with a slight exception for the elements of Fire and Darkness. Valorens have a single weapon and that is a scythe. Every Valoren’s scythe is unique because the scythe reflects their fighting style. Mine focuses on using magic, elemental control, and taking advantage of slight details. The scythe is made from the essence of a Valoren’s soul so it is virtually unbreakable and weighs nothing. Since it is made from the essence of the soul. It appears and disappears with a burst of the element. Or they can make the appearance of the weapon more dramatic to instill fear. The major thing that allows us people to tell the difference from us to normal soul when we choose to take a physical form or for soul take our spiritual form are our wings when we’re not hiding them. Like our scythes, we can choose to make our wings appear or not. I forgot to mention. The concept of clothing still used but no one needs to buy clothing when souls can change the appearance of clothing at will. Soul in a natural form look like a fire. The color of that fire is depending on the which soul-type they are. I don’t know if this is all I can say about this since it’s a large topic that is all too new to all humans reading this.
