Just wanted to say Happy 4th of July to all those who live in the U.S.
And for those of you who don't... Sucks for you! *shot down again* P:
If you're wondering why the heck I haven't posted art trades, requests, etc., it's because my insane little cousins are visiting. They're all younger than me (the oldest is nine) and they all want to play with me. Most of the time, at least. XD
I went to the zoo with them yesterday and that was pretty fun. We did some tie-dying, and we're having a silly string fight today along with fireworks.
And I'm pretty sweaty and aching right now. Not only did I have karate last night (which make me ache almost every single time, probably means I'm a wuss or need more practice...) but I marched in the parade today with the school district of Elm Grove. Not too many people volunteered to do it, and we only met twice, but it was pretty fun. Everyone was screaming and cheering, so that was cool. :3 It's not too hot today, so that made marching easier.
Guess what! I've been tagged FOUR whole times in the last few days. So that means I'm going to do 32 facts about myself. Heck, it's going to be hard, but I'll try my best to do as many as I can here and now. Let's a go~! *sounds like Mario*:
1) I play the piano and the saxophone. I've played piano since the second grade, so that's seven years this year I think. I've played alto sax since the fifth grade when we moved to our current location, so that's four years this year.
2) I also take karate and love it! It makes me ache, but it's fun. And I'm only a white belt, so I've got a long ways to go. XD
3) I have several goals that I'd like to complete in my life time.
4) One: when I go to New York City for our band trip, I'm going to go into a LARGE crowd of people and start darting through them singing/hummin the 'Jaws' theme song. (And according to all my friends, I'm going to get shot. *laughs*)
5) Goal two: To flip someone over my shoulder karate style. *praises 'The Karate Kid' movies*
6) Goal tree: To go into the smoking lounges at an airport and yell, "You're all going to die!" ('Cause smoking will probably kill them, ya know.) My friends also say that will get me arrested/shot. :D
7) I hate coloring drawings. Inking's okay, but coloring...
8)I used to suck at drawing manga-style. Just last summer I was horrible. So I've actually improved! *thumbs up*
9) I'm addicted to the series 'Gakuen Alice' and 'S.A.: Special A'.
10) I'd like to live in Barnes & Noble.
11) Or maybe Borders. 'Cause they have stuff B&N doesn't.
12) I like cheese. Good thing I live the dairy state.
13) I'm not fond of chocolate (except when it comes with peanut butter).
14) My manga guilty pleasure are cheesy/humorous romances.
15) I prefer to keep my manga/anime addiction to myself. If someone is talking about something related to it nearby, I'll listen, but I probably won't add to the conversation (unless it's one of my friends).
16) I have a bad temper, but I keep it locked up.
17) Much to my chagrin, I cried at the movie 'Click' with Adam Sandler. o.O (I'm a sap for really cheesy, sad movies...)
18) I have a doggie named Pepper and a cat named Little One. And several no-name fish.
19) *is finding it surprisingly easy to find facts about herself and thinks she's conceited and self-centered now*
20) My favorite season is fall time, 'cause it's cool and the air smells good. And you can drink apple cider!

So much scary weather here! Gwaah, there's tornados in so many surrounding areas. Including in Madison, which is only like an hour-two hours away. *scared*
And it's supposed to rain a lot, which means a lot of trouble for our end of the yea...
