Away for a while....
Dear ladies,
I am sorry for this abrupt notice, but I will be leaving completely until the end of July very soon. I apologize for my frustrating short visits since the end of Spring. It seems you need luck to catch me. *slight chuckle* In my life, I have been very busy with various things which seem to continue to need my attention. I will return full time by the middle of August, or if the worst occurs, the end of that month. I apologize for my disappearance once more. Have a wonderful afternoon, ladies.
On another note, I have not forgotten the contest, but my schedule is such that I cannot give it the attention it deserves at the moment. I will reveal my choices when I return.

A glimpse of the past
This is a memory that I imparted to Lady Blood when we were talking. She has since asked me to share it with you all.
This is a memory from long ago when Yuuki was still young, but it is precious. Albeit a small moment, it will last inside me, torturing or warming me. Instead of the Night Class' presence, Yuri and Haruka-san were on another couch on the other side of the room. They were discussing in low tones, but I wasn't able to worry about finding their subject. Yuuki distracted me.
She grabbed my head from the chair she was sitting in. Her young arms seemed to be trying to hide my eyes. I let her pull me back from my cramped position on the floor back against the chair and her violet skirt. She clung to me stubbornly, and I chuckled, amazed at the strength in the little arms. After a bit, she scooted further and began combing my hair. She liked doing that when she was young. I had relaxed and forgotten my brooding, content to lay still. She continued, and the room was still.
I didn't realize she was sleepy until she fell onto my head. I tried to stand up, but she grasped at my shoulder and neck. Her feet were dangling against my back. "Don't leave, beautiful brother." (smudge of ink)
I will always remember those words, and that night, I let her lay there half on top of me, half wrapped around me. When she finally was asleep, I transferred her to my lap and watched the fire crackle.

I will also say that this week may be incredibly busy for me. We shall see how long 'work' last. Things have begun to move again, and without immediate action, circumstances may grow more unfortunate. *chuckles* On a lighter note, the rains are almost here. Even at night, as I write this, I can feel the elements moving, slowly wrapping around the landscape, even around my finders to my keen eyesight.
