I'm back again with yet another card from the advent calendar. Today's card can be considered festive if viewed in a certain way.

While I’ve never used this card, it’s one I know quite well since it came out around the time Plant decks actually became a thing. That happened during the tail end of the GX era and the beginning of the 5D’s era, and of course the booster sets that came out during the beginning of 5D’s provided major support for Plant-based decks since Plant monsters were used by one of the show’s major characters. Now I don’t remember for certain if Lonefire Blossom here came out in one of the final GX booster sets or one of the very first 5D’s booster sets, but in the end I guess it doesn’t matter. Anyway, I guess the reason that Lonefire Blossom was included in the advent calendar is because it could sort of be considered as the Duel Monster equivalent of a Christmas tree. I mean that sparkling thing at the top of its bud could be considered a star.
