I'm feeling a bit under the weather at the moment either because of a cold or draining sinuses affected by the dramatic change in the weather in my part of the world. Either way, I think my condition has affected the quality of this post, so I apologize in advance if it's not my best work.

I assume this card was chosen for the calendar because it’s the closest thing there is in the game to a reindeer. I’m actually quite familiar with this card. If I’m remembering right, it was originally released as a common card in the second or third booster set of the ARC-V era. In fact I think I have one or two copies of thing in my collection already. Incidentally, the card’s name seems to be a combination of the word, fawn and the Valerian Sprig, a mythical plant used in potion making.
