I've actually been asking myself this a lot lately. But I can't seem to find the correct answer to it. Its been really bugging me because I'm getting on with life and finding my way, but I can't answer this damn question. I'm even in college with a definite major and I can't answer it. What do I want to do with my life?
I keep talking to people younger than me to give them advice on what they should do, and I give them the best advice I can, but how good can that be when I don't even know the answer to that question about myself?
Why do we have to have Midterms? Why? WHY?!!!
WHO DECIDED IT WAS A GREAT IDEA TO MAKE THE NEGATIVE SIGN?!
I'm not just talking about physically, I'm talking even while we are awake. Why do we day dream? Why do we aspire to be something we never thought we could be? We reach so high and sometimes we catch the edge and pull ourselves up, and other times, we lose our grip and fall. We are a race unlike any other. If we want something, we do it. Just because we can. Isn't that wonderful?
While we are asleep, we delve into our subconscious and we dream. We see what we had forgotten, what we want, what we are, what we feel, what we fear, and, for some, what the future will hold. We are able to overcome our fears. We can slay that dragon and save the damsel in distress, or we can run from a zombie horde chasing after us, or we can even go to the edge of the universe and back. Dreams are such amazing things. But what makes us dream?
