NUMB

Hardly moving, hardly thinking,
Hardly feeling, hardly dreaming,
I have no movement.
I have no thoughts.
I have no emotions.
I have no dreams.
I am barely here, barely standing,
Barely communicating,
Barely breathing.

If I am hardly moving, I’m not moving
at all.
If I am hardly thinking, no thoughts
are there.
If I am hardly feeling, I don’t feel.
If I am hardly dreaming, I have lost my dreams.
If I am hardly here, I am not here.
I am NUMB.
