A world dedicated to music.
I love rock, metal, and progressive, but you'll also hear classical, Big Band jazz, oldies, and anything else that tickles my ears.

Recently my favorite band Threshold ran a fan video contest to create a video for the song "Staring at the Sun" off their new album March of Progress. Here is the winner.
A band I just discovered, thanks to their singer's guest spot in the new Kamelot single. I've never been keen on a woman doing guttural vocals, but I think this girl handles it really well, and also has a very nice clean singing voice that makes a good counterpoint.
The time is nearly upon us - the new Kamelot album Silverthorn is due on October 30. Here is the first single from the album, featuring their new vocalist Tommy Karevik (also of Seventh Wonder). At times he does sound reminiscent of Khan, but bottom line is they found someone who really fits their sound perfectly.
After a wait of five years, British prog-metal band Threshold are back with their ninth studio album, March Of Progress. As a teaser, they've released a radio edit of the first track.
With the band is their original vocalist Damien Wilson who sang on their 1993 debut Wounded Land and again on their third album, 1997's Extinct Instinct. Damien rejoined Threshold in 2007 when long-time vocalist Andrew "Mac" McDermott departed. Mac passed away last year from kidney failure.
